Considering that women not only didn´t have any rights but also were suffering from economic inequalities big time. Considering that women not only didn´t have any rights but also were suffering from economic inequalities big time. And this systemic inequality were put in place by men so that they could hold the power and control over every aspect of women lives. That being known, I innerstand why women had to do whatever it took to be financially secure. So kudos to Peggy, the only mistake she made was not putting aside some of that money for her future lively hood. SMH.
