Surprisingly I’ve seen more love for the 2013 movie than I ever have when it first came out. Guess people just gotta join the bandwagon when a new movie doesn’t go their way. Love all of them regardless,
@@captnhorrorttv3783 I thought it was a good remake when it came out, but I vividly remember how many people really disparaged it and condemned it for being so bland, then Rise comes out (fantastic movie by the way) and people are on this pedestal that 2013 was the all-time best Evil Dead which is just baffling to see. People are sheep lol.
the 2013 Evil Dead is like a remake of the 1981 original, but with more modern themes...kind of like a re-imagining. It's an alright movie, but still worth the watch. Evil Dead Rise was really good...I enjoyed the city setting than the traditional woods. Doesn't focus much on scare factors, but more on the disturbing and unsettling side with lots of gore

No hate for it, it's an alright movie with nothing bad going for it. I wish they did something different instead following the same plot from 1981
