How exactly do you play this game Vanilla, no bug fixes or anything? NVSE is standard for literally any mod that modifies scripts, NVAC works great and is also a mod that everyone should have considering how much this game crashes, if you have issues with either of those you quite literally just don't know what you're doing
The only issue I had was him complaining about script extender like my guy it isn't that deep I think installing mo2 or vortex is more difficult it was probably harder contemplating to complain about it in the video then installing it lol
This was a fun new format, I liked it. On a side note, I also find it annoying when mods just randomly tack on a bunch of extra side stuff, "This is a cut content mod, but also here's all this other crap we threw in just because."
The only memorable part of this mod is Hawkins the Powder Ganger companion. If only this mod was only about him, along with some of the additional content like the ones in NCRCF and the Malpais Legate Camp, then it might've been better received
Quite possibly, yes. A whole new companion, and one from a more evil-oriented faction at that, is bound to get some people interested. If I was still playing the game I would’ve loved something like that, the Powder Gangers were always one of my favorite factions.
Uncle Leo is one of the stupidest decision for a uncut mod like why though? It's true that Obsidian reused asset from Fallout 3 to make New Vegas but there is no mention anything from the cutting room floor about Uncle Leo from DC going to West Coast. Another thing, those weapon from Fallout 3, while some people might agree that it would be awesome to have that F3 AR, Chinese AR, DB shotgun, etc but let me say it clear that F3 Combat Shotgun is an abomination that shouldn't suppose to work so I'm glad it's left behind. Josh Sawyer is a gun nerds and he knows what he's doing with firearms in New Vegas.
Yeah, exactly. Like, it’s not the end of the world to add Fallout 3 stuff into New Vegas, lots people do that and enjoy it. It only becomes a problem when you just go and package it in a mod that advertises itself as lore-friendly, well-researched cut content restoration. You don’t even have to be a big fan to find out that it’s all smoke and mirrors. At that point, why not make two different mods? One that’s an actual restoration, and one that’s a more fun-oriented new stuff mod.
I always wondered what an overexaggerated meme portrayal of a pitiful neckbeard hater from (n)Exus comments section would look like if it was a real person. Thank you for indulging my curiosity.
@@fojisan2398This isn’t even being rude, this is being genuine. This man is the living example of, not what we wanted, definitely not what we expected, but EVERYTHING we deserved, lmfao.
I’ve spent years trawling through crap like this for Oblivion, F3 & FNV. Occasionally, you do find the odd diamond in the rough but a lot of it is just garbage. This is an excellent example of a good intention that’s poorly handled and not thought or followed through correctly. Sometimes, things that are cut should stay that way. They add no value or enhancement to the overall game.
Oooh, that’s really cool! I haven’t really followed up on the whole modding scene of cut content, I know the big ones from the Elder Scrolls titles and F:NV, but only through word of mouth. One of the detriments of my job here is that a lot of the mystery of removed content is taken away. I like the fact that people try and restore stuff through mods, but just like a tv show, when it starts to just pile on useless filler upon useless filler, I start losing interest.
I remember seeing this mod on nexus and being taken in by the name long enough to read the description, at that point I fucking ran and never looked back.
Heyo, seeing your vid for the first time and I enjoyed it greatly. While I can understand how you feel and even agree some of the points you made in the vid. At the end of the day alot of people worked on this and tried their best with what they had, myself included since I am in fact a VA for Simply Uncut. I'm not here to tell you you're wrong or you cant feel the way you do about the mod, but I'm still thankful for the opportunity to work on it, and if given the chance, I would do it all over again no question (maybe use more of the VA experience I slowly learned from the years while I do it). But yeah, I understand how you feel about it, but I hope you can take that into consideration when all is said and done
Oh, yeah, definitely. I understand that for something of this size to even release… it’s definitely a big task. I don’t fault anyone for the end product, the project leads ultimately should be the focal points. I’m glad that you had a nice time working on the project, and that it furthered your VA passion. I don’t think there’s a single project out there that’s all bad, and it’s cool to have your insight, so thanks! 😌
Sooo, will you also get all the Fallout 3 DLC to cover the Fallout 3 version of Simply Uncut? If I recall, it wasn't as egregious with fanfic stuff, and some restorations were also done by Tale of Two Wastelands. Although the most I recall of the mod was a brotherhood knight in front of the Washington monument talking in a very "HEY Y'ALL" voice.
Hah, I basically know nothing about Fallout 3 and its cut content, so that will probably not happen anytime soon, though I do already have all the DLC for that game, as I have the GOTY on PC, haha
Most of what I’ve seen thus far is just some okay to bad voice acting. The dialog and the NPCs are generally fine. I would like to see AI-generated voices used in the future, I think it would make it far more seamless.
I was called an idiot once on reddit because i said i didn't want to have fallout 3 and dlc weapons early in the game and all of the "new weapons" they added didn't have a proper texture and the fallout 3 weapons had the worst quality ever
Hahah wtf. Though I guess that doesn’t come as a surprise. As someone who isn’t really active on sites like that, I don’t really hear much positive either way. Unpopular opinion and a bad crowd never go hand in hand.
If you prefer a more concise, written version of my thoughts: Simply Uncut: New Vegas is an amateurish mod that tries to capitalize on the fact that the game has a vast amount of cut content, and the fact that the majority of the fanbase doesn’t actually know all that much about said content. Both the modpage and mod itself are clearly written by someone that either isn’t fit to be a writer, or just doesn’t care about quality. The mod author claims to be a writer, but if they’re responsible for it all, then that’s one giant joke of a statement. The mod is filled with weird additions that aren’t related to cut content at all, and the “rating system” to check the authenticity of the content is wildly inaccurate. The whole mod feels like many different ideas duct-taped together to BARELY have enough content for a release. If one wants to fill a mod with characters and quests made from the ground up, then they shouldn’t advertise it as cut content restoration. Even though the changelog reads like an Engrish translation from 1994, and the mod has some offensively bad, lore-breaking voice acting (despite the lore-friendly tag), I feel that the worst thing this mod accomplishes is giving many a different fan a completely wrong idea about the game’s cut content, crapping all over the work me and people like me do for all our research. That’s why I feel should be best left forgotten, only to resurface sometimes in the back of our memories to give us a nice chuckle.
It's time someone finally called this mod out. Just look at the mod page and you can see exactly what it is: a personal hot pot mod filled with personal bias and not a simple uncut mod as advertised. I do a remix mod of my own too but I would never release it, knowing it will be in this exact state.
I don’t get why it wasn’t just split up in a content restoration mod and a general “easter egg/reference” mod in the first place. Way less room for arguing as the bulk of the really non-conforming stuff immediately gets thrown out the door.
I actually really enjoy the mod. It's free DLC content that adds new stuff to the game. It's a breath of fresh air for anyone who has played the base game too many times to count.
@@whoareyoutoaccuseme6588 I have not been able to find Hawkins. I think I broke my game with mods. The wiki says he is in the Sloan/Quarry Junction area, but I have not found him there. The only reason I know he exists is some kind of bug, I finished Lonesome Road (nuking both NCR and Legion). When I came back to the Mojave I fast traveled somewhere and Hawkins immediately appeared in front of me, forcing me into a dialogue along the lines of "A NUKE??!! A FUCKING NUKE?! Listen dipshit I hate the NCR, but I've got friends back home in California you bitch. A nuke is going too far." Then in the top left corner of the screen it said, "You have lost Hawkins Perk" and he proc33ded to attack me. Like, dude, I never even had you as a companion how tf did I lose your perk 😂
Ahhh the rabbit hole of modding... This mod looks cool! Requires: X Okay, better get that Requires: X, Y Okie... Guess I got another one to download Requires: A B C D E F G.... HOLY SH-
That's how mods work sometimes There are base utility mods that extend FNV's capabilities and allow modders to use functions that don't exist in vanilla fallout new vegas, so they can make cool shit for the game and thus need those mods as a requirement for their work to function And other requirements are usually a case of the mod needing to reference content from other mods If they didn't use the requirements, then the mod maker would have to straight up reupload other modder's assets or work
Going to be honest, I think your critique of this is extremely mean spirited and unfocused. Mods are ultimately amateur projects, and aren't going to have a lot of money to throw around at stuff like professional voice acting, so generally unless it's outrageously bad to the point where you've got screeching mics, horrible audio balancing with enormously loud or imperceptibly quiet dialogue, generally being critical of a mod like this on voice acting isn't enormously helpful. Being critical of the content that is entirely original to the mod author being in a cut content mod? Sure, that makes plenty of sense, but it can also be worded in a much more constructive and less aggressive manner. To return to the point about Voice Actors, I've tried to get into Voice Acting before myself with a few mod projects and a couple of amateur game projects, none of which ever really saw the light of day. It's extremely difficult to find even amateur work to break into Voice Acting, especially since the standards that are expected of Voice Acting mic quality and performances is held to a quite high standard these days. Thus, a lot of Voice Actors are going to take whatever mod work they can find, regardless if their accent fits it or not just to get a body of work out there that they can show to find more projects, because getting that initial portfolio is the hardest part. Once again, as a lot of mod authors aren't going to have a lot of money to throw at Voice Acting, they're also often going to have to take what Voice Actors they can find, and try to vaguely fit them to the characters as best as they can. As a final point, your critique of some aspects of the mod certainly were warranted and justifiable, but I find it difficult to follow the video for your views on the matter when you're coming into the review by saying the description's increasing your blood pressure, and acting visibly angry because... they added some content that wasn't actually cut content to their... mod? People can either choose to download or not download this mod as they see fit, it's not exactly something being forced on anyone. It's not like what they're doing is going to replace the Vanilla game for all time and no one will ever have access to the Vanilla 'intended' experience again.
Their "mod" was called simply uncut and added so much other stuff that it was no longer a restoration mod. I don't care if this comment is a year old. It just seems like you're being sensitive.

I kind of hope someone adds certain NPCs from Simply Uncut that were good voice-acting for certain characters as a separate mod on the mod post. However, chances are low. This is unfortunate since the mod probably does have some good things, but a lot of bad things.
I like the video, It also made me realize to really check what my mods requirements are thanks for that! :D A little bit of advice though I loved the vid but your audio swapping wasnt the best, every time we didnt see your face it was good audio wise, but turned to an echoy, Its not a big issue just a peeve of mine and also is a bit jarring. Besides that amazing vid, subbing!
I think it was this mod that had the H&H Nail gun. Which turns out to be one of the most busted early game items you can get. It had high DPS (124 - 137?) and could be sold for a high amount of caps. Meaning you could sell multiple at a time and then clean out the Gun Runners of all of their caps. Which is what I did to get back my caps (besides using gold bars).
I've been using this mod for a while and I never noticed how shit it was until I saw this. I've since uninstalled and the creator removed the mod from Nexus. Lol. Lmao, even.
Some may have been implemented in such a way that they can't be removed easily without breaking the game. Some assets get reused elsewhere. Some, just not enough time due to development time requirements. Some are missed because there are thousands of lines, assets, etc. Some are not *cut* persay, but are bugged to be non-accessible. Some may be assets that was never cut, but just never used. And some "cut content" stuff is actually concept art, comments made by developers of scrapped ideas, or placeholder models.
Tbh the jump between your camera's mic quality and your voiceover mic quality is kinda annoying. Next time you should try recording the audio with your dedicated mic, and then merge the audio with the video. Or just drop the camera altogether, some parts were a bit forced. But I'd say it was still worth it for that vanilla joke in the beginning lol
Yeah, definitely. Dedicated mic will be the go-to next time. I also know that some parts weren’t as needed, but they sometimes just helped the flow a bit better, which is a problem I often struggle with.
@@UnknownG2000 Yeah the cut-ins are fun however there are a few too many so they tend to distract from what you are trying to explain. I find it's usually better when you really want to emphasize something. Besides that it was one of your better videos i think, Don't worry about the 'flow' too much.
Sometimes, cut content is cut for a reason and people don't really know the bare basics of game development. If it's actually good, there's a chance it will return in a future game or actually deserves to be added as a mod. Otherwise, it isn't worth the time.
Speaking of cut content restoration, this reminds me of when my dad had my foreskin removed when I was a baby. The difference is I can't just install a mod just to get it back. Though I guess there are some similarities considering my dad also abandoned me while I was still a developing kid. Hey, maybe these 2 events are related and the mod author is my dad. Do you know his email so I can ask him why he left his wife and son? On second thought, I think I'd rather just send him rude messages, because he more or less inconvenienced my entire life by doing that. I think more people need to heed this lesson - if you're going to send people death threats, make sure it's for a good reason. Then again, most death threats aren't even meant, unless you're part of the CIA, in which case they are. You can just look at JFK if you want an example of just how spiteful they can be, like when they attached a car battery to my nipples. Jokes on them, I'm into erotic electrostimulation and got off to it. Anyways, a lot of people don't seem to ever think about why content was cut, and just flock to add more of it even if it doesn't actually add to the game. These same people keep adding to a game wondering why it has no identify anymore and become bitter about the whole series, not realizing that it's perfectly fine to get bored of a game and switch to a more fun one, like what my dad did to my mom when he found a hooker with huge melons, even though he ended up killing her because they were fake.
The thing that really gelds my bighorner about this mod, more than anything else, is how this mod accuses Obsidian of being lazy. I get that some of it is hyperbole, but the repeated mentions of "lazy Obsidian" in the mod descriptions make me inclined to believe that the developers - or at least the person who wrote it - believed it. It's pretty well documented how much of a mess the development of the game was, how overworked and unsupported Obsidian was by Bethesda, and how the game almost killed their company because of something as stupid as a Metacritic rating. To call Obsidian "lazy" is not only immature and insulting, but shows a deep lack of understanding for how game development actually works. Which I guess they learned pretty damn quickly considering how much of a trainwreck this mod is.
i play with fnv mods. i respect you for being a normal game player, fnv blows up on my computer with or without mods. I need my sprint and anri-crash shit (not NVAC.... optimizations). There is some cut content that I wish was added, but this mod is more just "add on everything possible". Agree with everything here, good video.
There are far more skilled people in the community that could do that concept justice. There are even new releases that have a lot of potential but just less notoriety.
I mean, all the dlc being a req is not too bad it's a dud point, and also NVSE/NVAC is basicaly either present in most moded games, but I'm not a lawyer for this badly managed mod, heck i did badly managed my mods... so yeah modders are not pros...
Yeah, having all the DLC as requirement in itself isn’t bad, and it can be expected, but the problem is that the mod really doesn’t need it. The only thing the mod used the DLC for, is to hand weapons introduced in said DLCs to leveled lists and vendor chests throughout the wasteland. Conceptually not bad, but it doesn’t have anything to do with content restoration, and at that point, why include it at all? The others are also mainstays in modding, but yeah, I’m not the most knowledgeable person about those, but they seem like the mod doesn’t really need them.
@@UnknownG2000 Memory saving/ stability for modding is a no brainer but having them in the requirements? I'd rather put them in the rcomended section, also yeah introducing dlc items is only ok if the dlcs remade cut items into playable stuff... like weapons that were cut from the base game and now the dlcs are not implementing them into base game... but i don't remember such stuff
A mod that restores pre Dawnguard armor for vampires in Skyrim have Unofficial Skyrim Patch as a requirement even though it does not touch any of it's content. Most mods with this requirement work just fine if you remove it. Though it is annoying that I have to do it.
Great video! About you being a "vanilla bitch", I am starting to see the good side of not thinking too much about modding playing basically TES3. Only like a dozen mods that basically are mesh fixes. With Skyrim I need to spend a few days just with install and testing stuff. When I can finally play, I don't have time anymore. Other kinda of mod I liked was that reuse npcs that a barely used, like they despawn once the quest ends. It started giving them follower mechanics or ambiance in some Inn. But then the mod started messing with placing new houses, changing level cap from vanilla followers and so on. Now when a mod mention something out of the original scope, I just leave that page.
Yeah, fixes or unofficial patches I don’t really see as “mods” since they’re just that… fixes. They don’t really add or detract anything from the game. Of course, I usually like to know exactly what said fix entails, but besides that I usually just stay clear from modding. All the super oversexualized stuff from Skyrim in particular just turned off at the start, and I don’t really care for other mechanics, ENBs or grand texture overhauls.

Hey man I know this is like your opinion, but the mod isn't really that bad as somebody who's played it. It gets a lot of flack for being called "simply uncut" fair enough. If you're complaining about the mod needing NVSE and NVAC I simply have doubts about your opinion on modding here. Your complaining about needing a grand total of 3 mods for this mod to work one doesn't even use a plugin I'm guessing, it's a mesh replacer. The other is literally the most depended mod in NV modding the script extender. "so much for the simple part". If you're playing modded new vegas this shouldn't even be a surprise or a shock, even for a vanilla player...Though I am curious what you think about other mods. Do you have a discord, maybe you just need some guidance on how to mod NV properly.
I have a Discord, yes, haha - but as stated in this video and in the past: I have no interest in modding my games, I don’t even play games to begin with haha. I don’t mind the mod needing NVAC and NVSE as much as I find the requirement of the DLC to be egregious (since the mod doesn’t make any smart use of them). And, of course, the mesh replacer which shouldn’t be a requirement to begin with. I know that as someone that just enjoys mods, this won’t seem hardly as bad. Most people won’t mind the small alterations since they don’t quite care. If you want some simple additions in your game and don’t really care about small hangups, then this mod might be great. But if you look at it through the lens of someone that knows how this cut content is reimplemented, that’s where it goes awry. I have no doubt that people have enjoyed this mod in the past and will continue to do so in the future, but the message it delivers just isn’t something I personally can agree with. Oh, and if that last part was a legitimate invitation to teach me how to mod NV, that’s very kind of you, but I’ve gotta decline. Thanks for the offer though!
@@UnknownG2000this is old as dirt, but the DLC requirement is probably due to meshes or textures from the DLC. a lot of mods require the DLC that may not touch it or barely do. And yeah, virtually every mod requires NVSE because it is meant to be a mod resource. NVAC is a requirement just to play the game functionally at all
My hot take is that NV mods are kinda bad? The game is famous for it's RPG elements and tight quest and writting design. But those are one of the rarest mods to find, especially if you search for quality. Most mods are "look! Shinier graphics" or "Look! Better animations!" I mean so many locations could've benefited from more quests like Primm or even Novac. Legion severely lacks side quests to do which modders could've added. But nope, either you find nothing or very poor quality 😞
Has the mod already been updated since the making of this video? Damn, already irrelevant haha. I might take a look, but I don't really care either way since I don't really play games either way🤷
I thought the mod was good tbh. The only issue I had was a building from more mojave and simply uncut stacked on top of each other. Aside from that I love the new added npcs and locations.
04:15 Yeah, crap gets left out all the time, for many reasons, one reason being sometimes a beta idea just sucks. It is normal and necessary, sometimes they get it wrong and cut something they needn't but other times it's good they got rid of it.
I had never met him in my game. I went to dead money, completed it and as soon as I exited the bunker he was there with a bomb collar talking like we were both still at the Sierra Madre. Then I shot him and he spaghettified. I'm assuming he was supposed to join you at the sierra madre if you had him as a companion but because I had never met him it bugged out?
Try Uncut Wasteland with NPCs (created by sandbox6). It only restores objects/scenery/NPCs that were shown in NV's early game showcases, but not present in the main game due to engine limitation at the time.
There are quite a few cut content mods out there. You have FPGE to add an actual functional post game which enables most of the dialouge, area changes and other shit that was planned for each ending slide but doesn't add in any of the quests planned for the post game or the new NCR/Legion currency that was supposed to be added as the content was stripped from the files entirely. There used to be CAGE but that mod was incompatible with 90% of mods that changed the game world and it didn't actually change anything in the Mojave aside from just simply removing whatever faction/factions lost. There's Uncut Wasteland and Outside Bets which add in a bunch of shit too.
My only criticism on this video would have to be on the Installation woes section. Granted, NVAC (apparently) doesn't work anymore? It works fine in my experience but there are some fundamental issues with it that others have experience first hand, so I can understand the frustration with that requirement- but it's a stupendously easy mod to install, as well as NVSE. So, I felt it over dramatized the requirements for the mod, which I don't think is very fair since yes, the mod is titled "Simple", but two very easy to install requirements isn't really anything to really say much about. Rest of the video though? Yeah, this mod is fundamentally stupid and strayed so far from it's original purpose. Shame.
Yeah, that’s possible because the mixing proces with two different mics was a bit of a struggle, especially after one’s audio required some fixes. I’ll try to have it fixed in the future though!
Got halfway through and not really understanding the problem. OK they could have had a higher quality bar. And OK some things that are inventions from scratch, should be in a separate mod. Whatever. I wouldn't hate happening across these things in the wasteland. It wouldn't make it to a standard mod list no but really what did you expect?
The thing I’d expect was just a better and more transparent changelog, first of all. Just more transparency as to what exactly is created from scratch and what isn’t. Then I’d expect some better QA and just some better attempts at having consistency in the newly added dialogue. My main problem is just that the whole existence of the mod in its current format spreads misinformation that the community has been spending years on trying to rectify. Though, currently that isn’t a problem of course, seeing as the mod has been taken offline for the foreseeable future. Hopefully this gave some more insight into my views on this.
Well… there is no one single mod that restores a lot of cut content from the game. The closest I can think of is the moburma series, but if you really wanna go all out - you should take a look at this list: docs.google.com/document/d/1t8L4BFblvVxAm-pZSKKDKLZy8EjDgqn8GLyRPvNzfxM/mobilebasic

What's up with all the whining on US accent? Some of them where great acting and that's the important thing. Accents change over generations and places so it's not wrong either.
The US accent hangup is because the developers made it a point to make everyone sound like they were from around the area, which makes sense. Every mod is free to do what they want, yes, but if they really wanna keep the “lore-friendly” tag, then they have to abide by said lore.
Got a good laugh at someone complaining about installing nvse and nvac. You also said you only downloaded simply uncut's main file and thats it because more than 3 total file downloads is too much effort. Outright not including the authors own improvement updates is deliberately ignoring evidence that doesn't support your argument. Although I have also downloaded this mod and decided not to use it for many of the same reasons, I think this video is a poor attempt at discussing and criticizing it. It has numerous problems like the childish reactions to the description and making little to no effort to decipher what the author is saying to inform the viewers.
Sure, people didn’t like how I spoke about NVSE and NVAC, sure, I get that - but all the rest just shows how incompetent the mod is as a whole. An optional file should be just that - something optional, not an outright improvement. It’s not hard to include it in the main file. Same thing goes for the description - why go through the trouble of writing it out like that? Just a simple and concise description without the bullshit would’ve done nicely. I will admit that this was an exaggeration of course, but as someone that works hard to clear up misconceptions about cut content and tries to actually be a good writer - this mod does come of as offensive haha
@@jacobc8019No it was because everyone stated it made no sense. Another thing some of the stuff added or removed was poorly implemented. It's clear some people were passionate however if you're gonna hype up a mod, you better be passionate enough to bring in professional voice actors who most certainly have the actual equipment to voice. As well as having the experience to implement the voice dialogue. Randomly putting things here and there nilly dilly for no reason is not an excuse to add it. This isn't an add-it anyway, it's a why should we re-add it. Ex some things from FO3 were placeholders because the needed assets were not available. At other times some assets were removed cause they no longer fit the vision. Ex: Josh Sawyer stated there was concept art of adding a single shot .50 caliber musket pistol but was cut from ever being modeled because it would have been too difficult to implement. A really good example mod example is the Springfield 1861, while this does good damage it is a single shot, trying to balance this weapon would be incredibly difficult and it is even in the game. However imagine this being a single shot with a very large muzzle flash, no iron sights, and a pistol.

I really like what it did to the powder gangers and the legion but almost everything is shit, around 20 pointless npcs who don't even have dialouge
Simply Fanfic would be a more fitting title.

Wow, rude much?
Gotta admire how kvatch is just like “i’ll do what I want, fuck you. also stop being toxic lol”
If you prefer a more concise, written version of my thoughts:
Simply Uncut: New Vegas is an amateurish mod that tries to capitalize on the fact that the game has a vast amount of cut content, and the fact that the majority of the fanbase doesn’t actually know all that much about said content.
Nice elitism
@@GG_1318 How?
I actually really enjoy the mod. It's free DLC content that adds new stuff to the game. It's a breath of fresh air for anyone who has played the base game too many times to count.
Yeah, the new quests and the new Powder Ganger and Legion content were a welcome to have, and Hawkins is a great companion and character in general.
Ahhh the rabbit hole of modding...
This mod looks cool!
Requires: X
Okay, better get that
Requires: X, Y
Okie... Guess I got another one to download
Requires: A B C D E F G....
HOLY SH-
This is wayyyy too accurate
That's how mods work sometimes
There are base utility mods that extend FNV's capabilities and allow modders to use functions that don't exist in vanilla fallout new vegas, so they can make cool shit for the game and thus need those mods as a requirement for their work to function
And other requirements are usually a case of the mod needing to reference content from other mods
If they didn't use the requirements, then the mod maker would have to straight up reupload other modder's assets or work
Going to be honest, I think your critique of this is extremely mean spirited and unfocused.

Lol. Lmao, even.
5:18 My question is why leave cut content in game if developers aren't planning to insert it back or intentionally removed it for x reasons?
Some may have been implemented in such a way that they can't be removed easily without breaking the game. Some assets get reused elsewhere. Some, just not enough time due to development time requirements. Some are missed because there are thousands of lines, assets, etc. Some are not *cut* persay, but are bugged to be non-accessible. Some may be assets that was never cut, but just never used. And some "cut content" stuff is actually concept art, comments made by developers of scrapped ideas, or placeholder models.
@@elizawulf8180 Thanks for late reply btw! I guess you made a good point. Still wild this mod tried to put concept arts as cut content 💀
Yeah, that was Dutch, but the Flemish variant hahah. People often say it’s more leaning towards German :p
Yeah, when looking for cut content mods I saw this and was just ???. Add some fallout 3 assets broski.
Sometimes, cut content is cut for a reason and people don't really know the bare basics of game development. If it's actually good, there's a chance it will return in a future game or actually deserves to be added as a mod. Otherwise, it isn't worth the time.
I thought I was watching a channel with thousands of subscribers before I checked your sub count! Keep up the good work man
Thank you! I’ll be happy if I ever reach the 1000 mark.
Which I guess they learned pretty damn quickly considering how much of a trainwreck this mod is.
is this different compared to Moburma's New Vegas Uncut series ?
Completely different.
i play with fnv mods. i respect you for being a normal game player, fnv blows up on my computer with or without mods. I need my sprint and anri-crash shit (not NVAC.... optimizations). Hope you do more cut new Vegas content!
You should do your own cut content mod for New Vegas, the community needs a faithful one
There are far more skilled people in the community that could do that concept justice. There are even new releases that have a lot of potential but just less notoriety.

@@UnknownG2000 You would have to be incredibly stupid to play without it in the first place
I use to have this installed, then i just uninstalled it for a few better ones that only restore a small number of things.

Better animations!"
I mean so many locations could've benefited from more quests like Primm or even Novac. Legion severely lacks side quests to do which modders could've added. But nope, either you find nothing or very poor quality 😞

Did someone reply to my comment?, Because I can't see it.
Is there an alternative to Simply Uncut?
Not a cohesive one, no. They’re usually spread out between multiple releases. You should probably start at Moburma’s series and then tweak from there.
Shame.
@@p0k3mn1 It's literally a drag and drop install at that, too.
Great video! Although the audio seems to be a little quiet for me in comparison with other videos

@@UnknownG2000 thx u
They are all good, he is just being an asshole
dude i get it. its not the best restoration mode but this was 30 minutes of nitpicking and unfunny jokes. i get why some people would not like this mode but you guys are over reacting. they literally tell you what's going to be in this mod. so if you see something you don't like, let the mod author know respectfully and just find something else. this video was so stretched out just to make fun of it and not give legit reasons why this is a bad mod. you making fun of the voice acting was stooping lower then low dude. the fact that you acknowledged that there was a patch for billy's voice, just to ignore is beyond stupid. all you had to do is " hey guys, i dont like how this cut content mod adds unnecessary or unrelated stuff ". but no, stretch this video out just to say nothing. absolute L dog
Believe me, if I felt that I was in the wrong for making this, it wouldn’t exist today, and I definitely wouldn’t have attached my face to it. Letting the mod author know in a respectable manner is indeed the right course of action, but in this case it’s the masses that need the info the most.
@@UnknownG2000 i get what your saying, but you and i both know you stretch this video and didn't address the problem properly
@@Aba2san quit being butthurt over Criticism, if he didn't made the Video, people including me would never had the knowledge about intentional changes. Simple uncut pretends to be pure uncut Content, everthing else isn't simply uncut Content. How can you be nitpicking if the mod consist of little Details. And your whole Respectfull Bullshit is complet bias. It doesn't matter how he phrases the Point, the Fact that he points out or criticize the mod is enough for you to be offended.
imagine complaining about something someone made for free, as a hobbie, for you to enjoy. it doesent even break the game dude
26:54 joshua graham? nah, J grimmy
Great video btw perfectly summarized the mod
he failed to mention hawkins, arguably the only good part about the mod. and its not even cut content really, thats my only complaint
What's up with all the whining on US accent? Some of them where great acting and that's the important thing. Accents change over generations and places so it's not wrong either.
The US accent hangup is because the developers made it a point to make everyone sound like they were from around the area, which makes sense. Every mod is free to do what they want, yes, but if they really wanna keep the “lore-friendly” tag, then they have to abide by said lore.
best video in existence
Overstatement, but definitely appreciated.
Bet you can’t do better
hes already done better, the mod is deleted.
@@squidinmypants That wasn’t because of the fucking RUclipsr
You now, 1 cannot see, 2 cannot aim and 3 would only be able to hit a target up close which chances are you're dead.
