happy that your doing other games aswell, stay safe

Honestly i hate the ghoul "zombification" of the Bethesda fallouts.
Ghouls are NOT supposed to be just regular "radiation zombies", as shown by Harold. Harold is the "key" to solving this mystery.
Honestly this is the genius of Fallout 1's unreliable narrator. The entire fact that the shady sands doctor throws down the fact that the animals could have "mutated into beasts due to radiation" as illogical is because he doesn't have any knowledge about *FEV*.
Again - Necropolis was near a huge detonation point, a point that ripped West Tek facilities right open and released an earlier F.E.V version in the air to later come down as "black rain". THIS is the reason why most people turn to ghouls. THIS is the reason why the Master has trouble turning wasteland humans into intelligent super mutants.
No, it's not radiation. Otherwise the vault dweller would have been ineligable after going to the ruins of west tek, basically receiving what amounts to lethat doses of radiation.
I had no idea they took so much from van buren. Almost like New Vegas was in preproduction for many years, long before they inked the deal with BGS. We are really lucky to have gotten it.

Guys, does anyone know why some of the entries say "MG" at the end? What does it mean?
Nobody gonna talk about how the "child killer" perk couldve just been vault boy cutting a rope with an anvil attached onto a child and be sorta whimsical and cartoony, not straight up punt kicking a lady in stomach?
Nah bro woke up that morning and chose *violence*
OG fallout doesn't mess around like that
What 10 years without a poopjob can do to a man
Idk how you gauge things morally but I think squashing an actual child with an anvil is way more gruesome and deadly than just kicking a pregnant woman. I mean yeah it's ugly but it's not a 100% for sure death sentence for the child like an anvil lmao. Basically there's just no nice way to depict something that evil
Vault boy is so me fr
The cat vault is in reference to the idea that up until Fo4 there were no cats, and some people thinking there must have been a cat vault in the Commonwealth
There was a pet cat in fallout 2
I think the IV in TES-IV does not refer to 2004, but instead to Oblivion being the fourth Elder Scrolls game
Ty. It really bugged me when he got that wrong
@@ashkechum101Especially when the number is always written in Roman numerals
I would combine the "multiple Lanii" theory with the "Lanius is just a poster boy" theory. Lanius seems to be a skillfull duelist, as seen in the endgame of New Vegas, but he just stands in the camp, not leading from the front or anything like what would his legends hint to. He's the guy that is there to strike fear in the Legion's enemies, encourage bravery in it's allies, and be the shining symbol of the Legion.
So, what to do when you're expanding in multiple directions? Make multiple Lanii (and possibly other important people), because I highly doubt anyone but the highest ranking even know how a telephone or radio works, and thus everyone else has to rely on gossip, messages transmitted from legionare to legionare by speach, and sometimes, mail. Every major unit in your empire now thinks it's led by the best man ever to wander the East. Also, every aforementioned unit can decide which Lanius they want - the guy who's good at dueling, the one who is indeed a great strategist, or anything that will come in handy.
Biggest problem with that would be if one of them ever lost or died. Sure you could deny it, but every troop that survived the battle would know, and we see that gossip of the burned man spreads like wildfire, pun intended.
I could see Lanius in the endgame just being a game design choice, the final boss rather than an opponent in the first wave of mercenaries. That and he can be on the front line against the tribes, but facing the NCR like that would be a good way to get his head blown off. Caesar could even have ordered him to stay put.
Matter of interpretation, I think the artificial symbol is as valid an interpretation as any other, personally I believe in a mixture of all the ideas.
I'm the only lanius don't let anyone tell you different
@@striker8961 Good point but potentially the decimation of Lanius's troops could be how they cover up surviving soldiers witnessing a Lanius death.
Patrolling the COD games almost makes you wish for a nuclear series
11:48 there’s several conditions that lead to a ghoul going feral; extreme/constant rad exposure or a lack of a driving goal. Ferals are typically found in areas with above average radiation levels typically in areas heavily irradiated and a constant is that their brains have decayed to the point where they lose all rational. It could be that while radiation heals them it rots their brains. Only active motivation can delay or reverse it.
There also the mutation angle too where some people might have the genetics that allows them to stay sane kinda like how mutants fulk horrigan etc don’t all go animalistic
@@redwiltshire1816 my theory is that the genetic component only impacts if someone can become a ghoul and it’s environmental and psychological factors that effect if they got feral
@@Phoenixoflife56 but genetically that’s not how it would work, it would effect the ability to become one how long you become one and how powerful you are we also see this with other ghouls some being much smarter and others being stronger also the new fallout 76 expansion shows that having certain genetics can make you super human and even disabilities can make you more powerful, genetics play quit a large role in what type of ghoul you are even someone with a goal and good environment can still turn feral on a dime and using my mutant example they also have different traits based on the genetic makeup of said person before the mutation. And another example in the show even tho cooper has lost his way he still manages to stay sane but with the help of rad-x
It’s stated multiple times that radiation both heals them but also makes them crazy/feral. Just wanted to add. I think they talk about this in Underworld in F3.
I don’t know where I got this from but my idea has always been that feral ghouls are created through years of constant psychological abuse to a ghouls. Ghouls we see welcomed into their societies and that interact with people (even if it’s negatively) stay mentally sound because we as humans have a need to socialize. Whereas ghouls that have been kicked out of society and have been doomed to travel the wastes on their own will eventually turn feral due to lack of socialization and the few times they do meet someone in the wastes it’s most likely a raider or someone weary of ghouls.
1:00:00 the numbers may mean the chapters of the book of psalms
psalm 87 talks about the mountains of zion so thats my best guess
That was my best Guess, Maybe Verses That Situate The Fallout Of Man ? Very, Very Interesting 🤔
Psalms 108: Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless. With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.
My favorite part of the Wizard of Oz is when Dorothy pulled out a Fatman and nuked the Wicked Witch of the West
oh fk yeah. then she took some jet and screamed "FKING KILL" 🤣🤣🤣😂😂
5:20 you got it backwards, iguana on a stick is an actual iguana, iguana BITS are what is human.
If I had to say what the most dangerous threat is to the common Wastelanders, it would be Fo76 Scorch Plague. When I first saw them I was confused what they are but after learning that they are a Bioweapon made by the Enclave that got out of Control and is spread by Giant Mutant Bats that basically spread a Napalm that turns creatures into seared Zombies controlled by a hive mind before eventually petrifying into statues of Ultracite. They are a way more believable threat to me then the Tunnelers, which one Mailman could wipe out half of. However I would not be surprised if we see the Tunnelers in the Ruins of New Vegas in Season 2!

It is honestly refreshing to see 76 included on these and not get shit on every time it comes up
it improved greatly and is a legit fun fallout experience now. though still way too tilted towards 'take most of these mutation serums and spend five luck points on these two cards and play as a bloody build tank' for unlocking gobs of defense-n-DPS for easily dispatching enemies that are otherwise somewhat of a pain in the ass.

42:00 the far beyond is our sun, Sol. This was definitely explained in fallout 4. And another thing was explained in fallout 4 was that P.A.M. dropped the bombs. She literally says "i got bored, and i wanted to see what would happen" you have to comment on her curiosity in the dialog wheel while shes at the railroads bunker and shell literally tell you it was her.
I like to think that the sole survivor is a synth. Based on how inhuman Shaun acts when you talk atop the MIT building. He says “it’s the first time he’s been topside” but he’s lied to much to you before this. I’d like to think over the course of the last 80 years Shaun has been testing the advancements of new synths by trying to replicate his father and/or mother, replaying the events of day zero and seeing how they react to “waking up” in the vault with their significant other dead and their son missing. I would like to imagine the reason why Shaun is so cold to the player character is because he’s been having these conversations for years and he only starts to slowly realize that as he’s dying, you are the outlier
That’s an interesting theory! :>
Fallout is the only game that has robots, eldritch horror, sci fi themes, apocalyptic theme and what else i dont know. For me, Fallout 3 was peak fallout in matters of making you feel hopeless.
“I’m not a boomer, I know nothing about the band Tool” daaaaaaamn bruh 💀💀💀💀
According to the TV show, Ghouls come from the radiation, and all ghouls are on track to becoming feral unless they constantly consume Jet or one of the other chems, I forget which one
1:06:42 dang this makes me feel at some point you would’ve told Veronica you found her lost lover but was cut during dlc development.
I love how youve added the Cold War/WW2 era Guns to your FO4 Game! Originally I wouldn’t touch Mods that add those guns as I felt they didn’t necessarily fit in the Art style, but after seeing them in the Fallout TV Show I started making a list of all the Guns seen and added them to my game! They look so cool and despite being old, they were actually really easy to use and maintain. So it makes sense they are some of the most common guns in some region.
What scares me is that I looked at your account recently and we switch from cod to fallout at pretty much the same time
Wow your fallout 4 looks amazing can you share your mods list or is it private?
The NRT being a Nirnroot reference is crystal clear, you could even break the acronym down to "Nirn Root Tamriel" if you wanted. However, the idea that Fallout and The Elder Scrolls share a universe is very far-fetched
Almost 3 hour video? Rabbit is spoiling us
Some of these mods you got are pretty tight (personally a big fan of the first-person animation ones.) any chance for a modlist put anywhere? Lowkey wanting to run through these games again and would enjoy some good picks

1:25 that's not the music that plays when you approach the crashed highwayman, the gold slouch plays.
Silly question but whats the "survivalist rifle" mod you had going through this video? Love the look of the gun and would love to know if i could get it
Ayyyyyyyy, I ain't seen ol' rabbit in a long time. Awesome to see you do some fallout.
For Colonel Autumn!
So... The main character of Fallout 4, at least in a early development, was meant to be a synth. The thing was forward but all things related to be a synth wasn't removed. And yes, the lack of synth component of Glory is a mistake at her code. The dev forgot to put in her code
Im waiting for my next day off to give this a watch, love the fallout content you make Rabb1t
Hell yeah, Justin! It's been years since I've watched you last (mostly because I lost my yt account lol). Good video overall- I appreciate the synonomous plug- he's a great channel too! Wishing you well, big dood! ❤❤❤

Man, I used to watch this guys zombies videos way back when. I’ve been a die hard Fallout fan since 2010 so it’s nice to see him making this content now.
I hope in season 2 of the fallout show they bring back veronica and christine to give a little closure
Love the video, btw what mods you use?
“Hopefully you guys have a great day, and that’s it. Leave.”
Almost 3 hours!? Hell yea...
1:13:16 the word psyker comes from warhammer 40,000
what did you think about the fallout show? I personally have watched it twice and will definitely watch it again!
Gabriel is not the leader of Libertalia's raiders but rather a high-ranking one. Because Wire, former minuteman, is the leader and who formed the gang.
Could you please post your modlist for FNV and F4 if possible?
Cosmic horror is awesome in Fallout. I love the references
I'm so happy that the only other video game franchise you talk about is still one that I'm a fan of
I really couldnt watch this as one sit but I will be back to finish the video. If you ever want some Original New Fallout songs under your video then please let me know! Love from The Netherlands
Big dog, the TSE04 is referencing the fourth elder scrolls, game oblivion(2006) none of the elder scrolls released in 2004🤣🤝
Even if No-Bark isn't himself the Chosen One, it's not impossible that he came into possession of their car at some point
It belonged to Bruce Isaac.
He's the chosen 2
I loved the distinction that iguana on a stick is just an iguana pierced on a skewer and roasted. It always, even without knowing the lore of Bob and even in the game New Vegas, makes you think if it's really iguana
The iguana bits I mean
I’ve seen ever one of these and I just love to watch them
Great video but it’s missing something. At the very bottom of the iceberg there should be the secret ending to the game, the Easy Pete ending
55:07 did he pronounce it Sarah LOINS???? or is that just me
Shhhhhh I was hoping no one would notice

the “rule of thumb” was a real thing and not from fallout, and it can be used to test if you’re in the radiation zone. it was something told to boomers growing up in the cold war and there’s some pretty good merit behind it if you really wanna look into it beyond youtube videos you can
Watched 5 mins without even realising who it was. Hello KrazyRabb1t lmao wouldnt expect this from u but loving it
I personally think the ghosts being chased down in baja are enclave remnants potentially, they would be hard to find due to training tech and secrecy, thus being ghosts, and the baja would have been a great place for the enclave to be due to it being a peninsula and easier to hold from other parties
Great video ❤
The thumb thing is so silly in the TV show, the vault boy thumbs up was a psychological way everything is okay before you go into the vault, false sense of security.
Colonel Autumn is absolutely the good guy, also the Enclave are the good guys... Fallout has always made you play as the bad guy, 100%.
Very good
So “Lanius” is basically just “Kenpachi” from Bleach.
Or Perseus from Cold War
30:13 That deathclaw decided to be a temporary companion outta nowhere
Yo, gonna drop the mod list you use?
Highwayman music always slaps
That’s why I listen to radio new Vegas, not for the music… but so I’m not left alone with the silence
Hey mr Rabb1t, i took interest in the outfit that your character is using in FNV so what mod is that?
Love the transition to fallout, zombies is very nice but fallout is the move rn
I played the "Old World Blues" mod for Hearts of Iron 4, which includes a ton of factions and lore from across all Fallout games and related media. And I distinctly remember an evil, ruthless Brotherhood of Steel faction located in Washington, could this have been the one featured as antagonists in Fallout Extreme?

13:09 this actually could’ve happened back in Russia I believe when a Russian soldier was ordered to launch nukes at their targeted but he felt something was off so he decided not to and it turns out the person that ordered him to do it had no reason to at all so that Russian soldier is the reason why we weren’t in a nuclear war back then (I know I did a poor job of explaining I don’t quite remember everything about it clearly)
They had a false alarm go off that insinuated the US had launched nukes toward Russia. He chose not to launch, and that’s when it was determined to be a false alarm.
It was a guy on a nuclear submarine who tackled his CO or sumthin after they were told to fire by their computer feeling it wasn't right and it turned out to have been a system error.
What happened is that the computer detected Nuclear warheads coming from the US but that Russian Officer didn’t sign off on a retaliation cause he didn’t trust it and he was right it was a system failure
40:05 quick question all of the people in the railroad we are talking about how glory died in my play through, but I see her is that supposed to happen or a bug?
Also there’s a Wanamingo corpse in a vault in the new 76 expansion. So we may be getting an answer for them soon.
2:07:00 McCoy went back in time as well, and they go back to 1930, during the Great Depression.
The cat vault is talking about a theory (i think idk) that the reason there are cats in the Commonwealth is there was a vault filled with cats or someyhing
As far as the divergence theory goes it could have been any time before the earliest historical difference. Just because we diverged from FO in the past doesn't mean things wouldn't have happened very similarly up until a certain point.. I think it really only got noticeably different after ww2
"Eldrick"
In Synonymous’s video that came out yesterday he says that Fallout 3 had actually plan to use spells in a fallout 3 quest that was scrapped. I’m not saying you are wrong I’m only saying idk what to believe.
Probably him, I didn’t see anything about that but I only had time to do surface level digging.

I think the "Mysterious strangers" could be a semi-faction weirdly tied to people with "good luck" (the mysterious stranger perk) Miss-Fortune included. or.a vault unknown to us where people were experimented on making them more prone to lucky people (The mysterious stranger perk) and the males got the average mysterious stranger perk outfit and the females got the miss-fortnune outfit) this couldve been situated in new vegas and opened way earlier than the beth fallouts vaults. alterantivly the strangers know they are unlucky (They may have been tested on to make them ultra unlucky but extremely powerful. males being excelent marksmen and the femals bringing unluck upon your foe) and they cling to lucky people (The vault humans)
76 basically is cosmic horror they actual have 2 corpses of some sort of space or eldritch creature which also influenced the cult of the moth man
