Hanlon just says the cost isn't worth the reward. The fact that the Legion loses first in 3/4 endings, even if you sabotage the NCR every step of the way, means the obvious victor is not the Legion.
The NCR 100% wins the second battle of the dam, though the cost of such a victory and in what state the NCR is in (specfically in the Mojave) varies greatly on the Courier's actions

However it did have a garrison, a guarantee, and an agreement that the NCR would be its main trading partner. Vault city, led by Lynette, was keen on its independence. That is also why they denied New Reno mob families the agreement of cooperation. It was only the NCR power that forced them to acquiesce. Allowing their garrison and trade to be mostly dominated by NCR forces whilst remaining their small-ish level of independence.
That’s not what happened the chosen one and his crew shut that shit down shut those raids down vault city had a economic alliance with gecko and became a regional power
I've always had this problem with necropolis on the fallout 1 map. it isn't east of the hub its west. in game it states its the ruins of prewar Bakersfield not the small town of baker. so technically it should've been placed south of the lost hills bunker. but the map would've been a lot more dense so I understand the gameplay reasons

The whole thing with power armor just so happening having a weakness in the welding (that never got fixed multiple generations of power armor after, despite apparently being a big issue of getting soldiers killed) is also just super for the sake of needing the ghoul to be able to get through brotherhood, but he doesn't use that against Maximus in his fight at the beginning of the show... Unless you only consume pumped out slop as entertainment, you surely have some franchise your enjoy. Movie, show, game, book, ect... would you not be upset if key elements get retroactively changed for nonsense reasons?" The question isn't so much that people should be upset that "key elements" are changed for nonsense reasons but if "Obsidian neckbeards" complaints are valid or if they are making mountains out of molehills. Now out of the complaints you thought most important to list we have Sinclair having a different appearance than his game version, him being the representative for Big MT and House specifically being involved with the meeting. Now personally I think House was the sort of guy who'd at least want to be kept abreast of what any and all cabals may or may not be planning in regards to Nuclear War if only so that he can accurate predict what will happen. So him wrangling himself a spot doesn't seem that out of character even if the end goal isn't to his taste and we see he's the least on board out of the representatives. Making Sinclair the MT representative isn't exactly "good", I'd agree its a needlessly addition, but was likely there to simply squeeze in a familiar name and is someone closely connected too Big MT regardless. Like I can understand not liking empty calorie fan service but I can't see that as a "key element". And the same goes for his physical appearance. Is it a good change? No. I certainly agree that they should have stuck more closely to his game appearance but I can't see that on the same level as Lucas's retcon of midichlorians. "There are also so many goofy plot conveniences, like just moving Shady Sands to be next to the Boneyard, just cause... (probably so they don't have to bother with the characters traveling there.) Oh I would absolutely agree with you the show ran on plot convenience. If we're judging base solely on the quality of the writing, yeah Fallout is nothing to write home and focused more on what would make a good scene than internal logic. But that doesn't necessarily make a show unenjoyable. Speaking for myself I quite liked the Ghoul blasting the BoS tincans. I thought the weakness was setup earlier and the scene played out like a bad ass spaghetti western which fits the Ghoul to a "T". "This isn't even getting into the whole FUCKING NUKING SHADY SANDS and the ENTIRE NCR just basically poofs out of existence. " Honestly I thought the NCR falling apart when presented with a calamity, and having your capitol nuked certainly is one, is one of the better aspects to Fallout's writing. The NCR doesn't have a central identity, isn't bound by tribe or blood or even a creed like the BoS are, but is more of a proposition nation. Ghouls, Mutants and humans are all welcome as long as they adhere to the civic laws and pay taxes. Very mid-20th century America but if the only unifying thread is a shared compact to safety and security why would anyone remain if said safety and security are called into question?
@TurKlack That the only thing NCR related from the TV show and thus the only thing " awful" that could be included in an NCR video is it got nuked and effectively wiped out. Basically suffering the same fate the BoS suffered in FNV. So Karma.

(probably so they don't have to bother with the characters traveling there.) The whole thing with power armor just so happening having a weakness in the welding (that never got fixed multiple generations of power armor after, despite apparently being a big issue of getting soldiers killed) is also just super for the sake of needing the ghoul to be able to get through brotherhood, but he doesn't use that against Maximus in his fight at the beginning of the show..."
Oh I would absolutely agree with you the show ran on plot convenience.
Honestly I thought the NCR falling apart when presented with a calamity, and having your capitol nuked certainly is one, is one of the better aspects to Fallout's writing.
Even the Legion and Vegas whom are Younger Faction have a better economy and a better soldiers with safer borders

@@nathanlevesque7812 look it up, even legión territory’s are more safe and business is well. As long as you don’t sell Quems
Yeah, they also have a senile leader with a brain tumor who hasn’t set up any sort of chain of command.
What about their grammar?
Hard times create strong men
WOW so bold so true, not trite reddit speak at all lmao
I hope to Goddess you didn't include the events that awful show.
Hey remember when Obsidian all bit wiped out the BoS? Boy Karma's a bitch, ain't it!
@@sonofccn I have no idea what you are trying to say.
@TurKlack
That the only thing NCR related from the TV show and thus the only thing " awful" that could be included in an NCR video is it got nuked and effectively wiped out.
Basically suffering the same fate the BoS suffered in FNV. So Karma.
@@sonofccn ... Sure thing pal. Sure. Thing.
@@TurKlack
I'm going to need clarification on what that's in response too. Can you be more specific?
As an American im kinda realizing republics just aren't a good idea
Democracies are far worse than republics
30-1 that gets even worse when you remember the brotherhood spent the howl war trying to hold a straightecly indefensible position
