This was my first exposure to Eric Clapton. I was 6. I loved it. When I heard his classic music a few years later, I was like “that’s the guy from my Back to the Future soundtrack cassette!”
I took my mother and father to see this back when it was in theaters because they'd love all of the old cars, etc. and they did! But I had to explain why I was laughing so hard when "the teacher" scolded Marty's band for being "Just too darned loud!!!". You see, the song that they were playing for their audition was written and performed my Huey Lewis.... and THAT guy IS Huey Lewis... :) LOVE when movies throw in cool little easter eggs like that!
True, but the scene they play it really brought out the moment. It was played at the right time to make that impact - without even considering the lyrics - it was a really catchy tune that sounded like a major accomplishment was capped off from the main character.

IMHO one of the most amazing movie trilogy ever... How many mistakes could have been made just in casting the wrong actors... Besides some time-related questions this trilogy will acompany through my entire life...
