Thank you for the helpful tips on why the machine wouldn't cut my htv (blade settings). My question is.....why doesn't silhouette fix this issue with an update? It sure would help us newbies trying to learn and cut down on waste and frustration.

100% of the time, only carriage 1 is useful. I hope silhouette will release blade similar to deep point blade for carriage 2. Cricut has it, so much better than kraft blades.

I just bought Cameo 4, I have Cricut Maker know that machine well. Just wanted to branch out, they say cameo hard to learn. I love making tshirts and sweatshirts. I’ve tried recalibrate, putting the censor over the mark, moving the placement of sticker paper on the mat and it’s still cutting way off. I’ve wasted so much material and so frustrated, please help!

You want the matte side up, shiny side down. The shiny layer is your transfer mask.

You can use the Silhouette Go mobile app but it's not nearly as robust as the desktop app.

You don't need to use a mat for lined materials. But you can as an option
