Hey Tito, What about if adding a cinemorph filter 77mm to the front thread then add a Century or LA-7200 infront? would the effect be the same?

It's Alberto from Spain =) I've been recently watching your videos and they are being so so useful! But I still have some questions...haha! I own a 5D mk3, and I'm looking for anamorphic "solutions" to push my videos to another level, but I'm not shure which one to choose. I personally like the Anamorphot 2x but it's kind of expensive. I love a video in vimeo of a GH4 with a sigma 30mm/anamorphot 2x on 4:3 ratio. Is it possible to get to the same result with a 5Dmk3 + magiclantern + anamorphot 2x?Ive been reading that you cant use a lense under 85mm... Would you recommend any other cheaper possibility but with real lenses? need help! Thank you so much in advance =)
Do you know if it's possible to modify canon 28mm FD lens? Or should I go for Pentacon 29mm just to be sure?
is the benefit of inserting the disk in the rear element as opposed to a filter in the front the ability to use a wider lens or what exactly makes it better?

hi tito, sorry to interrupt you, I bought an anamorphic projection lens and everything is fine with the 2x image on the horizontal except it gives me a horizontal stretched bokeh instead of vertical, at first I thought the lens position was wrong and I rotated it 90 degrees and the image broke down, do you have any idea why it gives me a horizontal bokeh different than the typical vertical bokeh?, it is a Bausch Lomb 2x lens which is the giant plated type with a red ring on the front (I have the black version). My taking lens is 35mm f0.95 and my camera has native anamorphic preview...
Usually this comes from the anamorphic block and spherical block being focused at different distances. See if you can get a sharp image and bokeh is still going the wrong way. :)

+Tito Ferradans I see.. I ws trying to mod it they way how u did ur helios, but I was getting heavy vignetting!
there are 5-6 models of mir 37mm, on the older ones front element can be unscrewed by hand, so, this kind of mod would be even easier than on pentakon.
Like those tutorials. More cheap lenses hacked !...

+Tito Ferradans Well if you want a wired mic, a 10€ mic will do ok. With wireless you will have dilemmas :-D Rode makes good enty level mics...
