I find the PX4 far more accurate than my Glock. Double isn't even that bad. 10lbs pull? Throw a comp trigger group and a LTT trigger bar and double action is almost 8lbs and a 3-4lbs single. I'm literally cutting paper with mine at 25yds.. Not crapping on the Glock though.. The 17 and the 34 is awesome. But I just do better with the px4.
I was hoping you were going to take into consideration of the DA vs. striker. How of course it is going to be a bit different. If you practice a lot more with the DA you can get used to it and tighten your spread. The Beretta also has consistent pull, except for the DA shot. Which like I said before can be gotten used to.
Dude shut the background music off. It is awful when trying to hear what you have to say. I want to hear your opinion not the music. I will catch you later if you have not background music going.
Good video. By coincidence, I just got a PX4 Storm in 45 ACP and took it to the range a few days ago to compare it to my old reliable Glock 21 which is also 45 ACP. Both guns worked perfectly. I had some trouble getting used to the single action/double action, probably because I'm not used to it.
I have the full size px4 Storm and it’s not a fair comparison, the storm is more accurate with less recoil, the Glock is more concealable with more upgrades

I treat a Beretta or any DA to SA like a 1911 that if all else fails at close range (like grappling) I could just squeeze the trigger. No one seems to do this.
I think it's just what you are used to. My first pistol was a single action ruger Blackhawk in 44 mag. I do like the Glock for just simplicity in a crisis situation...very purpose built pistol. Once I got used to the da trigger it grows on you.
Funny you mentioned that because the first time I fired a Glock I tried to cock it :D Had a quick WTF? moment when I remembered it didn't have a hammer.
My reason is I learned to shoot a pistol in the Marine Corps. The pistol I was issued was a M9 ( Beretta 92F) I have shot a DA to SA pistol for so long its literally all I know.
My 40 storm is perfect, i ran 5000 rounds out of the box no issues at all. Then i cleaned it and now i carry it. I shoot much smaller groups with my 40 at the same distance in this video. The storm is a top shelf carrying pistol! I bet my life on it every day.
The Beretta has a bad rap? That’s news to me. The M9/92 series is one of the most reliable handgun designs ever. I know the PX4 design is different but I assume you are referring to Beretta’s military heritage as the PX4 hasn’t been widely used in LE/ Military circles
Ever break down the PX for cleaning? I have and I absolutely cannot put it back together. The firing pin housing will not come out easily. Once out there is no pin that matches the hole. Help, non existent as far as I can find. Once I do get it back together I will sell and get a damn revolver. I do have a S&W auto with no problems!
You sound like California compliant magazines. And he said it was a full-size Beretta. The regular full-size Beretta magazines hold 17. But they have a full size with the ten round magazine for the California compliant option on the Beretta website.
+Dr Dank depending on who you ask... if you ask Massad Ayoob, the first shot is not one to be count! He says it is, 'do to manual loading of the first round', but I don't see any differences, yet!?
i have a px4 storm full size 40 cal 3.5k rounds out of it flawless best hand gun ever awsome. want the same 2000 sand paper smooth the loading ramp before you fire the first round no jam ever
This isn't a fair comparison . Glock 19 gen 4 is a midsize gun . Compared to a fullsize Px4 . Beretta Px4 is also available in compact and subcompact . The compact is actually closer to a size of a mid sized gun tho . Where as the subcompact will carry like a compact . He should have compared this glock to a compact px4 .
Berettas get a lot of fail to fire complaints because many shoot it out of the box without cleaning and lubing it properly. Berettas are shipped out from Italy with a lube that is made to prevent corrosion in the salt air on the ship - but bad for shooting.
I clean all my firearms thoroughly first, take them apart ad get know them first. Maybe I lucked out but I have over three thousand rounds in this gun and have ZERO issues. I like this gun a lot...but that's just me.
I learned if you don't lube the Beretta when you first get it. The gun will fail to feed on practically every shot. I guess I should have read the manual because I called customer service and they said it is such a common issue that they would be surprised if that didn't happen if you pulled it straight out of the box and shot it. They say after about 150-200 rounds it doesn't need as much lube but they don't recommend running it dry. Makes me curious as to how it may function in sandy environments since you would want to limit the lubricants in those environments. However once you lube it(I lubed mine like I do my AR just to make sure) it functions flawlessly. I really think you can't go wrong with a glock. It's practically the benchmark striker fired pistol. I just think compared to competition you can get clones that may look better, and feel better than a glock and get the same level of reliability and functionality.
Yea, with Glock they actually warn you not to lube it or clean it from the factory, like you do everything else. Glock puts special oils into the barrel that are supposed to be shot out of it the first few dozen rounds. Apparently helps care for the barrel, which is opposite of every other gun out there.
Thanks for your review. I got 3 15 rd double stacks with my px4 .40 cal... No.Dak. I don't recommend slamming the slide forward if you're not putting one in the chamber, as the round acts as a cushion, so to speak.
C'mon Man. If the background music is Metallica isn't a 1911 style "free pass" granted? I'm a Beretta fan boy but own as many Glocks as I do Beretta's. Shoot the Storm. Mine is the type F 17 round. Easy shooting gun. I own a G-19 G4. Different guns. The only advantage I give Glock is that it sits lower in my hand. However I shoot the storm well also. Easy shooter in 9mm. If all you believe is "glocks are good" shoot the storm. Probably won't buy a glock to simply compare.
i say the Beretta px4 storm 45 full size my father told me switch from glocks try something new in i love it still have my glock 23 but the Beretta you can't go wrong at all it's a beast just wish the trigger was like the glocks
I have a sig P320 compact in 9mm and a full size Beretta PX4 in .40 caliber. I take them both to the range. The Sig is striker fire, and the Beretta single double action. The first shot from the Beretta is of course in double action mode. The trigger is a longer harder pull in double action, so of course it's not going to be as accurate on the first shot as it is with ALL the rest of the rounds in single action. But it's Insignificant! If you can shoot a gun it's still very accurate. Once in single action it is way more accurate than the Sig which is the same action with every shot fired. I have no complaints about the P 320. That's why I bought it. I love it. But The Beretta is a very very very nice gun. If I was shooting competitively, I would choose the Beretta. But if you want a fair comparison compare the Glock 19 to the Sig P320. I think you would find the Sig has a better trigger than the Glock. But hey, that's just my opinion.
If I carved a gun out of a bar of soap it would look better than the Glock. I hate the Glock triggers. Feels as robust as a pair of Chinese nail clippers.
Thanks man for not making me a solo on the BS music. I've seen other reviews with heavy metal type of music in the background and "moved on" as it was so distracting.
I like heavy metal but some here choose to play the kind that is 'irritating' or even worse, electronic music that is so irritating I get sort of 'agitated' listening to it and immediately stop viewing.
. What do you mean by the comment: "...Both of these are 'RANGE guns' and HEAVEN FORBID you need them in a home defense situation..." If not answered by author of this video, ANY GUESS what he means by this other than meaning he'd prefer using a 12-gauge shotgun or AR-15, which given my rookie impulses I prefer to pound a bad guy with, assuming I could use an 'illegal foregrip' (always thought that would give me excellent "GUN CONTROL" under stress... but I digress). What's wrong with the Glock 19 for home defense? I'm about to get a Gen 5. Thanks!
Daytona Greg It's really personal prefence. I have a 12 ga. Pump shotgun behind my bedroom door. Beretta PX4 Storm on my nightstand by my bedside. My wife has a 38 cal snub nose revolver by her bedside. And I keep my M&P shield by my chair in the living room, also my EDC. FYI no kids in the home, daughter out on her own now.
Beretta hands down, plus it has some really excellent safety features (along with the ambidextrous hammer drop safety). The rotating barrel is awesome, gives the sensation as if you were shooting a 22. The single-action trigger pull is hard to beat, the PX4 is also very accurate and reliable and was built to handle the 40 S&W from the get-go. The grip frame is about equal to the length of the Glock 17 so the Glock 19 will print a little less. I have carried both, I definitely would never carry a Glock appendix carry (that is like carrying my 1911 cocked and unlocked-JMHO). My only wish is that Beretta will come out with a 10mm PX4 with a 5-inch barrel as a hunting/woods gun...
Thanks for this video, even though it's old, lol. I'm a female, new gun owner and I have the px4 storm. I chose it because I was told it has less recoil due to its design. I have TONS of questions and I hope you can answer a few: I live in Maryland as well and shoot at ON target, but they don't offer firearm cleaning classes or firearm training classes. I like going and just shooting, but I got my gun for personal defense and I want to practice correctly so that I get good, real good. Do you know of a range that offers training classes or is there a personal trainer you would recommend? I want better sights, a stainless steel guide rod, and a light on my gun, where can I go to have that done? Lastly, would you recommend that glock for a female? Thanks for any help/answers you can provide. It totally sucks that I want to protect myself and maryland doesn't allow cc.
You could try Continental Arms...they have a range. They have a good selection as well. I like both pistols... it love the Glock for simplicity and purpose. Good luck!
rainbowprepper365 FreeState Gun indoor Range near White Marsh north of Baltimore offers training, plus classroom training for HQL (Unconstitutional req to purchase handgun). So there's at least one but I saw many others with Google search (unless I misunderstood what you're looking for). 🙂
The BERETTA is better for appendix carry 🔨 fire safer. I have the G19 Gen3. Cost new 450.00 buds. Put granular talon grip on it 17.00. I put a grip force beaver tail on it 20.00 because it's a gen3 also the truglow tritium sights 56.00 on eBay. Happy with it now.
Started with the PX4 9mm, then moved to Gen 3. Glock 19, finally settled on Gen 4 Glock 19. PX4 Good / Glock 19 Bad Looks great / Not so great looking Very comfortable to hold / Like holding onto a block of wood Low recoil / High Recoil PX4 Bad / Glock 19 Good Feels heavy / Feels light Bulky overall / Very slim Slow rerack due to safety lever on slide / No safety lever, easy slide racking like a boss Personal accuracy very low / 200% improvement right out of the box
Dien Nguyen Glock- plastic sights and mags. Beretta PX4 steel sights and mags. Already have it racked and one in the chamber so the safety/decocker is not a issue for me when I carry it. Had problems with the Glock plastic mags causing stovepipes in the G19. Just sayin. The Glocks need improvements right out of the box.
WRONG ! ! ! The Beretta PX 4 Storm 9mm " FULL SIZE " IN NO WAY WHATSOEVER HAS ONLY 10 ROUND MAGAZINES ! ! ! The mag capacity's are : 9*19 = 17 rounds 9*21 = 15 rounds
@@jimr549 Yea , I got a PX4 Storm Compact 9 And it's my carry so I only put a few mags through it But I am overly concerned about the PX4 Trigger Levers as they are metal inserts with a dependent plastic moulding over the metal and if the plastic breaks off the metal the gun can't be fired - THAT IS AN HORRENDOUS ERROR BY Beretta ! Also , although not case in point , some of the new Beretta's are having the same problems with firing pins as some of sigs guns had , and that will get one killed in a gunfight ! SO NOW I AM GIONG TO CHANGE MY CARRY GUN TO THE G26 G5 ONLY THE G5 ! i do not endorse the other G26 's as they don't have +P stock barrels . I WILL NOW CARRY THE G26 G5 WITH 124gr 9mm GDHP ( +P ) but standard pressure is likely overly good enough I ONLY RECOMMEND GDHP and no other ammunition But for those who consider otherwise Then for them I recommend Federal Premium HST I carry in a remora with a half sweat shield I SAY STUDY THE TEXTBOOK THEN THROW IT OUT THE WINDOW AFTER THAT IT'S ALL JEET KUNE DO ! # After I have changed my carry , I will strongly consider talking to ONE OF THE WORLD'S MOST RENOWNED CUSTOM GUN GUN MANUFACTURES AND CONSIDER SENDING MY PX4 COMPACT 9 TO THEM TO SECURE A MOST RELIABLE TRIGGER AND FIRING PIN SETUP AND THEN CONSIDER MY PX4 ONCE AGAIN AS A POSSIBLE CARRY ALTERNATE THE BERETTA PX4 STORM COMPACT CARRY 9MM IS LIKELY THE MOST COMPLETE CARRY GUN EVERY PRODUCED IN ALL OF WORLD HISTORY save for the factors that i mentioned
I'm not sure about that light, but I went with a Viridian X5L Green Laser/Light combo for my PX4 .40. It only goes past the barrel about 1/8". I've had it for about 4 years and love it. The laser is still on target after 1000's of rounds. I'm sure a 9mm will be a bit easier on it.
Funny video because I just got the G19(gen4) and love it. Now i want a DA/SA gun. I really like the Sig SP2022 it feels great and I love the looks. What do you think? Thanks
hey Terp, sorry to be a pain in the ass but whats the make of the grip as I could not find it in Midway? Its not the Pachmeyr tactical grip is it? ....
I dont understand how people buy guns that are intended for say 15,16,14,12 rounds in states that limit you to 10 rounds its irrelevant as hell might as well get a 1911 but hey whatever makes you happy I prefer guns that are really intended for 10 rounds why have all that extra space for no reason
DROOPY DON'T TRIP You cannot "purchase" a mag larger than 10 in Maryland but are allowed to "posses" it. You can buy larger mags outside MD & bring home & use them with no problem. Many gun ranges in MD will let you use a 15 rd mag when renting at a range but cannot sell 10+ to you. Also, it's specifically written in the law that it is ok to possess 10+ mags. It's a great example of idiotic politics & idiotic laws. One MD politician can PROCLAIM "I stopped the sale of 10+ mags! & speak truth" while another MD can PROCLAIM "I made sure you can still possess, own, & use mags larger that 10 rounds!" ... and they're both right. --> TERM LIMITS
I think Baretta has seen far more action than the Glock. Glock isn't a standard issue for the military and only 60-70% of police officers use glocks. The M9 has been a standard issue for the Army, Marines, and delta forces since 1985. The Px4 Storm is also carried by Canadian border patrol agents. The Beretta 92FS is considered the most commonly used handgun in the world.. I get that it's a preference thing but you cant praise Glocks history with police forces without acknowledging the much longer history that the beretta has served for our military.
i went with px4. glock has issues with the notches on polymer magazines getting damaged. and i had malfunctions with glock. if you pull on the magazine the polymer notch gets ruined. i hated that. but both will shoot more rounds than we can buy before they break. but the beretta is a bit heavier and seems more sturdy and robust. the polymer on the beretta also seems more durable on touch. try them out in your hand. also the beretta is safer to carry a round in the chamber than a glock. i was shooting at a range and the range officer told me "i havent seen in a long time someone shoot this good with a glock" 😂 enough said. and i am not an expert shot. best try out for yourself and decide. guns get damaged if u shoot many rounds in a short time. few hundred rounds a week is nothing and that is a lot of money already. hear opinions and info but decide on your own. good luck. if u want a durable gun dont buy cz!
Tom Simmo In a life/death situation which means or should mean the threat is pretty close. I would hope you can hit center mass in that circumstance in double action. Then after the first shot which should hit the target the rest are single action until the threat is eliminated. That's why I also practice double action with my PX4. So yes I agree, practice.
Glad I live in Kentucky and not Maryland. No offense Terphunter, that's not a shot at you, just the insane liberals in Maryland. Guys like you need to ditch Maryland and come to states like Kentucky, Georgia and Tennessee. Shame the east side of Maryland has taken over, I love western and southern Maryland folks.
Don't forget Ohio. We have some of the loosest gun laws in the country. Universal open carry without a permit (except when driving). Concealed permits are fairly easy to get, and are must-issue. No permits for any pistol, rifle, or shotgun to be owned, and no registration system at all.
Okay, everyone needs to STOP comparing striker fire pistol's and double-single action pistol's! If you don't have the two weapons quit compairing them, they are two totally different actions. Why have a Glock striker fire gun compare to a PX4 Storm double-single action gun? What's worse is different calibers; Hey, I have a G26 and M&P 45 lets compair and see what the differents are. Let's see Sig Sauer SP2022 to a PX4 Storm or 92FS, M&P to Glock, Compair Compack to Compack, sub to sub and make sure their the same calibers as each other.... Really! "Thumbs Down"
Ok valid point but those happen to be the two that I own so thats what I did. Both are the same caliber....9mm. Just more of a comparison if somebody was looking at those two models.
Sergeant T It just so happens that my local gun shop sells both these guns for the same price, so in my case, a comparison on the ease of use makes complete sense since I am currently deciding between these very same guns. As far as accuracy, I take it with a grain of salt. There's nothing wrong comparing different guns of different calibers as long as the distinctions between the two systems are always taken into account. For instance, if your comparing guns of different calibers, you can't say the gun using 9mm has less muzzle flip than the 45 acp and conclude it to be better as a result.... You can however say that if you prefer a gun with less recoil, a system utilizing 9mm rounds would probably be the better option. Additionally, comparing guns with different systems is valid, again in the case of the type of ammunition, how much "knock down" power a certain caliber has compared to another. You could then demonstrate this difference and make a completely legitimate comparison between these two options. So get off your high horse and take the video for what it is... if anything, the user here, prefers striker fire systems over the single/double action beretta... again, a very legitimate comparison.
Terphunter101 In your video you were using a glock 19 gen 4.... any issues? it seems that in the recent past people were complaining of stove pipes and failure to feed due to some internal changes made as well as recoil spring tension.... is it now corrected? Reason being, I want the glock 19... but am on the fence on getting the gen 3 or 4... whats your experience and did you fix the issues yourself?
I have had zero issue with anything in the Gen 4 Glock...I'm at about 3k rounds in it and I shoot most cheap ball ammo from WalMart. I think it was an ejector spring issue in some if the early models than has been corrected a long time ago. Maybe I'm lucky or I hold the pistol firm. It my father went out and got a gen 4 model 19 because he liked mine so much. The berreta is a fine gun as far as I'm concerned as well...same thing not ONE malfunction on that pistol as well. These are both 9mm pistols just so you know. If you get good plus P rounds for the 9 it has very similar energy as a 40 caliber. For joe average homeowner protecting his castle I like the Glock 19 as a simple, reliable accurate pistol...just less to think about in an emergency situation. That being said the berreta works just fine also! Good luck with your purchase
The reason every law enforcement department in the country carries a glock is simple- THEY'RE CHEAP. When combat is the question, the Marines opt for Beretta.
I appreciate your review, but why the BS music in the back ground? Most of us aren't 17. When I look at a review, I look at what you have to say - not the crap music in the background. Just another opinion....
Glock = AK reliability/simplicity/accessories/versatile. They are accurate out to 200 yds if you practice with them regularly. Look at hickock45 shooting his g23 at the gong on YT. He nails that thing regularly and it's 200+ yds away! Take down is easy and you can improve its accuracy by installing a tungsten guide rod afterwards. Berretta is an excellent gun but if this is your FIRST gun then get a G19Gen4. BTW. Make sure you shoot it to find out if your hand and fingers are long enough to wrap around a double stack gun like a G19 otherwise buy a M&P sheild in 9mm. Overall, I prefer 40 sw over a 9mm but as a first gun I would ALWAYS recommend a 9mm. Shot placement is paramount and you will always get better with practice if you can handle the recoil at the begining. Otherwise, the accuracy learning curve is much steeper with a 40 if you're a beginner and you'll probably just get frustrated and feel like you bought a $400 paper weight. Once you have a G19 you can then buy the next gun you want for looks, power or whatever feeds your fancy. A Gun is a Tool. Make sure it works for you before you buy it for looks!
I think you're confusing yards and feet.. I remember hickok45 saying the gong was about 80 yards out, or 240 feet. 200 yards = 600 feet. BIG difference there.
That might be true. The gong is a pizzabox in diameter and you'd probably have a hard time seeing it on the other side of a football field(300 ft). On that point I stand corrected. The other stuff I said you can take or leave but I am just telling you from my own experience so you can save some $$$ and frustration.
In military testing the Beretta PX4 fired 150,000 rounds with no malfunction or parts breaking. The Glock and Sig failed the test. That good enough for me.
Awesome
I thought Glock passed the 250k mark.
I've owned 2 PX4 storms I would never in my life take any Glock over it it is an amazing weapon I've had zero malfunctions and it is deadly accurate
I happily sold my Glock 19 gen 4 , for a BERETTA Storm Compact. Love my Beretta!! I also own a CZ P07 which I adore and chose over a Glock as well.
I own both and agree the PX4 is better. More comfortable to shoot.
PX4 Storm all day everyday.
Trigger is fine on the PX4. You have to train for that DA/SA trigger pull. Once mastered it is lethal, not to mention more controllable. At least my 2cents

Actually, hickok45's gong is at 80 yards, not 200 yards. I'm not trying to be a smartass, just wanted to clarify that
Beretta... 500 years of history. Stop! Italian pride 🇮🇹

not to mention its crap music

Dont tread on me ! 🎶
Sucks you only get 10 round magazines in Maryland. I live in Boise, here you get standard 17 round magazines and can purchase 20 rounds if you want. I just got one. I have a G23 but I’m excited about the Beretta and learning the DA/SA platform. What holster do you have?
The Beretta has a bad rap? That’s news to me. The M9/92 series is one of the most reliable handgun designs ever. I know the PX4 design is different but I assume you are referring to Beretta’s military heritage as the PX4 hasn’t been widely used in LE/ Military circles

I thought for sure that PX4 held more rounds you must live in a limited state
My Compact has 2 15 rd mags with it, the full size comes with 2 17rd mags
fxrsniper1 Oh I see Thanks
You sound like California compliant magazines. And he said it was a full-size Beretta. The regular full-size Beretta magazines hold 17. But they have a full size with the ten round magazine for the California compliant option on the Beretta website.

I really like the storm, thinking of buying it soon.
Still love my Storm....thats why i have both..;)
We have the same issues here....
the px4 storm full size in 9mm was my first handgun, i love it
i have a px4 storm full size 40 cal 3.5k rounds out of it flawless best hand gun ever awsome. want the same 2000 sand paper smooth the loading ramp before you fire the first round no jam ever
Beretta comes with different models f,d and another which give you options having the signal or double pull options
PX4 full size available with 17 round mags. Great review!
Meprolights are night sights with tritium has that will stay bright for up to 12 years...love them. Have them on both pistols now.
There actually about the same size
Berettas get a lot of fail to fire complaints because many shoot it out of the box without cleaning and lubing it properly. Berettas are shipped out from Italy with a lube that is made to prevent corrosion in the salt air on the ship - but bad for shooting.
I got a lot of miss feeds out of box with my px4 compact. Cleaned it up/lubed it... best gun i ever owned
I have both in compact size, love them both...
Thanks for your review. I got 3 15 rd double stacks with my px4 .40 cal... No.Dak. I don't recommend slamming the slide forward if you're not putting one in the chamber, as the round acts as a cushion, so to speak.
That's a px4 compact, full size comes with 2 magazines with 17 round capacity, still amazing gun
No that's not lol
I know storm is plastic but doesnt feel or handle like a plastic gun
Did not like the choice of lens that you used to shoot the video. Why use such a wide-angle lens? And the music was distracting.
It's a GO Pro camera...that's they way it is. I agree the music should be turned down or off in some spots.
Storm! By a mile.
If I carved a gun out of a bar of soap it would look better than the Glock. I hate the Glock triggers. Feels as robust as a pair of Chinese nail clippers.
Background music is distracting and detracts from quality of the video.
Thanks man for not making me a solo on the BS music. I've seen other reviews with heavy metal type of music in the background and "moved on" as it was so distracting.
I like heavy metal but some here choose to play the kind that is 'irritating' or even worse, electronic music that is so irritating I get sort of 'agitated' listening to it and immediately stop viewing.
hey dude, good comparison...thx for posting. I just got the px4,..where can i find the grip you have on yours? i like it...
Thanks...ordered from Midway.
. What do you mean by the comment:
"...Both of these are 'RANGE guns' and HEAVEN FORBID you need them in a home defense situation..."
If not answered by author of this video, ANY GUESS what he means by this other than meaning he'd prefer using a 12-gauge shotgun or AR-15, which given my rookie impulses I prefer to pound a bad guy with, assuming I could use an 'illegal foregrip' (always thought that would give me excellent "GUN CONTROL" under stress... but I digress).
Good luck!
Terphunter101 Thanks so much for responding. I'll check out Continental Arms. I've heard other people say the same about the Glock. Thanks again!
rainbowprepper365 FreeState Gun indoor Range near White Marsh north of Baltimore offers training, plus classroom training for HQL (Unconstitutional req to purchase handgun). So there's at least one but I saw many others with Google search (unless I misunderstood what you're looking for). 🙂
what are the metralight that you mentioned getting for your GLock 19? I'm interested in possibly getting on for myself. Thanks in advance. Good video.
Love your sound track.
I have a couple of Glocks, just bought a PX-4, but haven't shot it yet.
Looks like the grip on the PX4 was too big for your hand. That would affect your accuracy.
*** *** you can change grips
*** *** They come with 3 different back straps. Small, med, and large for different size hands.
Welcome to Tennessee Beretta.
Actually most police carry a glock 22 .40 Cal. ,And the Beretta is still used by many armed forces .
This video is a reminder of original YT
10 rds mags ?! My px4 came with 2 17rds mags and I bought 4 20rdsmags.
Which has more felt kick?
IMO the Glock...but its mid sized vs full size. The 19 has very modest recoil being in 9mm...fun to shoot!
I own a Glock 19 and after shooting it a while it wears your hands down. I’m going to try the PX4
Started with the PX4 9mm, then moved to Gen 3. Glock 19, finally settled on Gen 4 Glock 19.
PX4 Good / Glock 19 Bad
Looks great / Not so great looking
Very comfortable to hold / Like holding onto a block of wood
Low recoil / High Recoil
PX4 Bad / Glock 19 Good
Feels heavy / Feels light
Bulky overall / Very slim
Slow rerack due to safety lever on slide /
No safety lever, easy slide racking like a boss
Personal accuracy very low / 200% improvement right out of the box
Dien Nguyen Glock- plastic sights and mags. Beretta PX4 steel sights and mags. Already have it racked and one in the chamber so the safety/decocker is not a issue for me when I carry it. Had problems with the Glock plastic mags causing stovepipes in the G19. Just sayin. The Glocks need improvements right out of the box.
WRONG ! ! !
The Beretta PX 4 Storm 9mm " FULL SIZE "
IN NO WAY WHATSOEVER HAS ONLY 10 ROUND MAGAZINES ! ! !
The mag capacity's are :
9*19 = 17 rounds
9*21 = 15 rounds
In MD when I got mine I got two 10 round mags.
17+1 here in PA. Love my full size PX4, 1,000's of rounds with zero problems.Came with 2 17 round mags.
I think you may have a PX4 Sub Compact
Or a PX4 40
?
But my guess is you're spewing sht !
@@jimr549
Yea , I got a PX4 Storm Compact 9
And it's my carry so I only put a few mags through it
But I am overly concerned about the PX4 Trigger Levers as they are metal inserts with a dependent plastic moulding over the metal and if the plastic breaks off the metal the gun can't be fired - THAT IS AN HORRENDOUS ERROR BY Beretta !
Also , although not case in point , some of the new Beretta's are having the same problems with firing pins as some of sigs guns had , and that will get one killed in a gunfight !
SO NOW I AM GIONG TO CHANGE MY CARRY GUN TO THE G26 G5
ONLY THE G5 !
i do not endorse the other G26 's as they don't have +P stock barrels .
I WILL NOW CARRY THE G26 G5 WITH 124gr 9mm GDHP ( +P ) but standard pressure is likely overly good enough
I ONLY RECOMMEND GDHP
and no other ammunition
But for those who consider otherwise
Then for them I recommend Federal Premium HST
I carry in a remora with a half sweat shield
I SAY STUDY THE TEXTBOOK
THEN THROW IT OUT THE WINDOW
AFTER THAT
IT'S ALL JEET KUNE DO !
#
After I have changed my carry ,
I will strongly consider talking to
ONE OF THE WORLD'S MOST RENOWNED CUSTOM GUN GUN MANUFACTURES
AND CONSIDER SENDING MY PX4 COMPACT 9 TO THEM
TO SECURE A MOST RELIABLE TRIGGER AND FIRING PIN SETUP
AND THEN CONSIDER MY PX4 ONCE AGAIN AS A POSSIBLE CARRY ALTERNATE
THE BERETTA PX4 STORM COMPACT CARRY 9MM
IS LIKELY THE MOST COMPLETE CARRY GUN EVERY PRODUCED IN ALL OF WORLD
HISTORY
save for the factors that i mentioned
Say man where did you get the light attachment at for the px4?
I'm not sure about that light, but I went with a Viridian X5L Green Laser/Light combo for my PX4 .40. It only goes past the barrel about 1/8". I've had it for about 4 years and love it. The laser is still on target after 1000's of rounds. I'm sure a 9mm will be a bit easier on it.
It’s a Streamlight TLR-1 or 2 ...the light has different attachments to fit different rails. It’s an excellent light.
Wut the compact px4 has 2 15 round mags?
This is full size...came with two 10 rounds. They do have 15 capacity in full size I believe. Not sure on compact...
My Compact has 2 15 rd mags with it, the full size comes with 2 17rd mags
Funny video because I just got the G19(gen4) and love it. Now i want a DA/SA gun. I really like the Sig SP2022 it feels great and I love the looks. What do you think? Thanks
Thanks...Sig makes a great gun!
Did you get the 2022, I have one and am now considering the px4,. How do you they compare?
Go with talons on beretta
hey Terp, sorry to be a pain in the ass but whats the make of the grip as I could not find it in Midway? Its not the Pachmeyr tactical grip is it? ....
It is Pachmeyr...Might have been Brownells.
--> TERM LIMITS
I agree. If I’m limited to 10 rounds I’m going to go with a 45
Did you film the shooting at Cresap shooting range?
+Jeff Paul
No not there.
Are you shooting at target world cincinnati?
What is the grip on the PX4?
Beretta has more safety options VS Glock
Who makes the guide rode for the beretta?
Steve Bedair
Beretta doesn't get a bad rap for reliability it's the opposite their reliability is what they are known for.
Yea more for the look but I’m actually a fan of it
I think Baretta has seen far more action than the Glock.
Most police department were GIVEN Glocks free so Glock could advertise that these departments use Glocks, so people like you will think that.
Still a great handgun to me. Works and I can shoot it great. 3k plus round through it not one issue so far.
Can anyone tells me which gun is more durable either px4 or glock19?
i went with px4. glock has issues with the notches on polymer magazines getting damaged. and i had malfunctions with glock. if you pull on the magazine the polymer notch gets ruined. i hated that. but both will shoot more rounds than we can buy before they break. but the beretta is a bit heavier and seems more sturdy and robust. the polymer on the beretta also seems more durable on touch. try them out in your hand. also the beretta is safer to carry a round in the chamber than a glock. i was shooting at a range and the range officer told me "i havent seen in a long time someone shoot this good with a glock" 😂 enough said. and i am not an expert shot. best try out for yourself and decide. guns get damaged if u shoot many rounds in a short time. few hundred rounds a week is nothing and that is a lot of money already. hear opinions and info but decide on your own. good luck. if u want a durable gun dont buy cz!
There is no time to put the BERETTA in single action in a life death situation. Practice.
You can half cock your gun reducing DA trigger pull by 1/2 inch.
Which one better. Very good video.
Like them both...but would grab the Glock first.
Terphunter101
...for the recycle bin? Great place for cheap plastic and junk.
What grip sleeve is that
Pachmayr...very nice add imo.
Carry a px4 storm full size 9mm. G mdl. Excellent pistol.
Really! "Thumbs Down"
Sergeant T
Well Said!
Marsoc just approved Glock 19's, so there's that..
+seraph1926 I'll give you that, but there's also no denying that this presidency has done nothing but lower standards and defund our military.
+Sam Martinez In a shoot out I will take the Beretta.
+Sam Martinez Every law enforcement agency in the country does not carry Glocks.
I myself love the Beretta PX4 Storm.
I appreciate your review, but why the BS music in the back ground? Most of us aren't 17. When I look at a review, I look at what you have to say - not the crap music in the background. Just another opinion....
Don Fava
I agree the music is too loud...i didn't back it off enough during the talking. I have figured that out better now.....thanks for the input.
Good review. My g23 is in the night stand. The storm goes to the range. Glock for conceal, storm for outside band holster.
My beretta in came with two 15 round clips and is way better than the glock
The gun has an occasional flyer. Yea, it's the guns fault. LOL.
Look at all of the comments beretta is smokes the glock
metallica music
I was so surprised when I hear about a good store called *glockworld* I got my first hand 🧤 gun 🔫 there tanks guys
Good video bud! I have a video on my channel of my Px4 storm that I duracoated. Check it out when you get a chance it came out really nice.
Cool...will do...love both those pistols
30 feet is weak. My dad and I shoot at 25 yards with out pistols. Those aftermarket parts aren't going to do much for you at 10 yards...
The gong is 70yds away not 200.
Just ask them.
Two things. Hicocks gong is 80 yards and Berettas tend to be more accurate than Glocks. It had better mechanical lockup
Keep your Glock....
+Ken Hagerman ...because once you have it, you can't dump it unless its a recycling bin.
LOL you like telling story's
I see
Dude, please keep your finger off the trigger when demonstrating firearms please. Nice vid.
He could have shot me in the face while I watched his vid. Geez!
This glock is different from the one I got from *mrmasterglock on wickr* the one I got, has a switch them told me it a new gun!!!
Glock is just in a league of its own.
Bush league.
You need to work on trigger discipline
Glock all the way
