How you remember all that you have watched and our names, plus actually finding time to edit all of it AND work is beyond me,TAYM .While you had a cold sunny day, ours over here was lovely and warm - even had a Brimstone butterfly in my garden. Morning TAYM, we had a great weekend thanks, took part in our local Roughley's bike show(Andy Roughley organises it every year ,a great guy ! )Easter charity ride to a children's hospice, the weather was bright, and it was a fantastic turnout, and plenty of money raised and Easter eggs too,

Morning TAYM, Triumph looks like a 3TA or Twenty One. I did get out on a ride on Friday had a lovely trip out over The Long Mynd in Shropshire even managed to make a little video but I'm still having issues with sound on my modular helmet but I'll get it sorted eventually.

I was 4 miles from Launceston last week visiting my Daughter in Cornwall. The view down the valley where she lives overlooks Devon as the River Taymar runs through the bottom of the valley, the Taymar being the border between Cornwall and Devon. Also re Bertie dropping out of gear, how long since an oil change ? Old oil can cause that sort of problem 😊 great mutter as always.😊

That Triumph looks like a T21/ 3TA 348cc

Definitely a unit bathtub. I was going to say it was a 5TA 500cc only because it’s quite a dark colour in the photo. It’s more likely a maroon/red of the 5TA. Most bathtub T21/3TAs are a shell blue sheen colour which would turn out a lighter grey in a black and white photo. I’ve owned my 1958 Triumph T21 for 23 years 😊

What a star T.C. is. bikes in both living rooms and a Honda CB750K in his shed, amongst other bikes👍👍. I think that R.E. is one manufacturer that has succeeded in being different and not boring, with a large selection of models now.

A marvellous mutter from unexpected roads less travelled with some great photos and video suggestions. I managed to get out myself yesterday on Black Beauty for the first time in months, what a wonderful bike she is 😊 I took a road I've never taken before and stumbled upon some stunning views of snow capped mountains ahead. So I instinctively headed towards them, I stopped and got some stunning photos. On route I saw a police car in the verge to my right, only when I passed I saw there'd been an accident between a car and a motorcycle.
The bike was identical to one my female colleague bought last week, a 125 Mutt with silver tank and brown seat. I wanted to stop to see if I could be of assistance as it was in a very remote location. However the road was narrow single track and busy with Sunday drivers and riders. When I reviewed the footage I realised my camera had run out of battery a good while before. I'll have to wait until I go to work tomorrow to find out if my fears are confirmed.

@@TAYM I still got footage of the ride home and some lovely photos at my stop off point, plus about five minutes of the start of the ride where I was testing my helmet mic connected directly to the new Insta Ace Pro camera ( there's clicking in the audio but it's not too bad). So yes I should be able to put something together. Luckily it wasn't my colleague who had the accident so that's good. I'm finishing off editing the KTM video, that should be a stunner.

What a lovely selection of bikes,always liked the look of the super dream,always seem to be more 250’s than 400’s if I remember,great video,started watching it yesterday got a call and ended up at TTT’s for breakfast then to John Banks Honda as Krazy horse isn’t open on Monday’s.

I Like it. Never going to do it myself, so love watching long haul tour videos. It's a bit unfair to say "Crap" version, I like his style of presenting I find it and him charming as it happens. Horses for courses.

Regarding Pot holes 🕳 Taym. A simple telephone ☎️ call to your local council informing them of the location and size of the PH, may prevent someone getting killed.
The accident you ran into in the video, could well have been the result of a PH or flood water due to lack of road maintenance/drainage.
All road users need to very nicely report these PHs 🕳
Someone will put you through to the proper department and register your complaint.
I ring my local concil and they're extremely nice people.
Just make sure you have the all the necessary information at hand and simply report any road damage you come across.

The XADV 750 is a strange one and it is something I’ve toyed with but never ridden. Is it a scooter or a motorbike? Essentially it’s a NC750 dressed up to look more like a scooter. It has a motorbike engine and gearbox layout swing arm and is chain driven. It does have footplates and foot forward position but then so do many motorbikes especially the cruiser style. It has a slightly smaller rear wheel at 15 but the front is a 17 like many road bikes. Finally the gearbox isn’t the usual CVT but the DCT rolled out on several Honda models. So apart from looks everything else is really a motorbike, back to the question is it a scooter a motorbike or a something between the two?

@@TAYM me too TAYM my nearest Honda dealer is a 100 mile round trip but the problem I have always had is they never seem to have any in stock and only get one when it’s been ordered so no chance of a test ride. I do have a mate down near Sheffield and he tried the Forza 750 same bike with a different look and slightly different setup of suspension etc. Anyway he didn’t like it and his pillion found it very uncomfortable. I’d still like a go on one they are a sort of do anything bike and now Honda do all the luggage and accessories now so could be a good tourer as well.

I've watched the BirchwoodBiker's x-adv video as you recommended but did not like it. He makes too many assumptions that are not true.. But think it's normal for a motorbike rider. He is use to what he is use to. Will be very interesting to watch similar video but from a scooterboy's perspective.

Brilliant attempt m8. Try it like this "O po wa " lake Ophua. The classic left today for a 3 week adventure with a potential new owner. Don't know how to feel about that ! 🫣🤔. The guy really wants him, and I know he will care for him so I don't think he's coming back. I'll keep you posted
