I had a Yamaha V80 Steph thru a few years ago. Basically a two stroke version of the Honda Cub - but much faster.
Wet feet?
When I had my AP50, my mum used to send me to work with two carrier bags in my pocket. If it rained they went on top of my boots. The right hand side one was sacrificial though as it usually melted to the exhaust. 😊

Another wonderful mutter, I think it was a Thursday mutter judging by the weather! I hope DGR goes well for you, I did donate but it came up as anonymous for some reason! I admire your fund raising efforts, well done. I delivered something by motorbike to friends at Woolpit on Monday and, onwards, avoided the A14 to Bury, and was shocked by the potholes at the end of Daffodil Lane, glad those have been fixed! It's funny how RUclips didn't reveal how bad those were, whereas the ones on the roundabouts nearer Bury weren't as bad as they look. I said hi to the old man who smiled at me and pointed out that somene else on a motorbike was the grumpy old git, not him. Soon after Geoff also referred to a grumpy old git on a motorbike who keeps insulting him by calling him giraffe not Geoff, he sounded really upset about it. Congrats on the Suzi, lovely bike, and may you tour on it with skies the same colour as the bike! Anyway, as ever, love all your mutters, and videos, they give me a lot of pleasure, thank you.

Miserable ride out to work taym this blasted weather is all over the place at the moment but I think it’s going to settle more over the next week or two so I’m informed hope it was a better ride home well I’m off to see Jake at Suffolk triumph to order some crash bars for the rocket today looks good weather for today bye for now

Riding in the rain with wet socks? Been there, done that and didn't like it, so I feel for you, Taym. Here in my part of West Oz we've had no rain since last October and still none on the horizon. Everything's very dry here; wheat farmers have just planted seeds, but there's no moisture in the ground, so if there's no rain soon, it'll be a very poor harvest.

Had a few frosts🥶up here & a -2° overnight on Monday night up here.The Central Volcanic Plateau Taupo to South of Taihape gets just as cold 🥶 as alot if places in South Island apart from the Southern Alps.I'm tucked up right against the Ranges foothills & in straight line probably only 30km to middle of North Island.Snows every other year at my place but mostly sleet but have had a ½ foot of snow ❄️ twice in 10years.My mate 8km up road lives in snow line & snows up there quite often I'm at a lower altitude than HIM.His house one of the last houses up there on a farm.
Are going to Dunedin for Service I.T?Or is that 6hrs there & back to Christchurch?
I would just take bike to Christchurch Triumph Dealership from now on.
If I get a Speedtwin or T100 from other than Triumph in Palmy I'll just be taking bike to Palmy Triumph for services after that etc.
Last Saturday night we had a marvelous Southern lights show up here the night sky was redish pink purple colour.
Cause of Sun Solar Storm we can see it this far North & as far North as Auckland.I've never seen them before & first time you can see them in North Island.They usually don't get much further than Dunedin & occasionally Christchurch once in awhile.No light pollution either up where I live too.

Yea m8 back to Dunedin. I got great service from the team and it's a better ride than the strait chch trip. I've done a few winter trips over the desert road and it certainly gets as cold as down here. I was in lower Hutt all week and it wasn't overly warm lol 😆. Had a look around TSS in petone. Gee they've got some bikes. Looking forward to the ride and a few pies to keep warm 😀

There is a local ad for a 2016 Classic 500 Bullet for $2900… it's tempting but I'm a bit over my limit in the garage at the moment.
