In this video I answer the common question - What is the STAR method?
The STAR interview method is a technique used by interviewers to ensure that your answer to an interview question is well-rounded and comprehensive, and you are including all areas of what happened in a particular situation - the situation task action result, and this gives a rounded response to the question.
The STAR method is also a great tool for candidates to use in interview practice when answering any difficult interview question as it's a foolproof way of ensuring your interview has covered every area of the interview question.
I explain the difference between soft skills and hard skills, and many other interview tips and interview advice to boost your interview skills and level up your interview prep.
I cover the top 5 tough interview questions and answers, including particularly tough interview questions such as Tell me about yourself, Introduce yourself and Why should we hire you?

Hello I watch all your videos and love the information you share. . I learned so much. Quick question, I show no videos about this issue. I currently have over 16 years of experience in a field, I don't look my age and people that interview me, act differently when they see me in person. I am thinking they don't believe my experience based on my young look. I am 38 and look 28. What can I do so I look more creditable! Should I tell them my age so I look more creditable in the interview?. I have a job interview coming up. Thank you so much for helping and thanks for all the good videos.

I don’t recommend mentioning your age directly as this could divert attention from your professional achievements. Here are a couple of tips
      1. Make sure your resume and discussions are filled with specific examples of achievements and experiences over the last 16 years and quantify any achievements where you can (e.g. revenue growth, team leadership, project sizes etc)
      2. Before your interview, practice answering questions that give you an opportunity to show your extensive background. For example, a question like - ‘can you tell me about you problem you solved’ gives an opportunity to demonstrate your background due to your extensive experience without needing to address age directly.
      Best of Luck!

Hi , Could please explain - Conflict was happened in my and colleagues in front of team members How to handle my colleague rude behavior at work place with STAR mode example

Here's an example, but of course include a scenario relevant to your own situation:
Situation: You and your colleague had a conflict in front of team members, causing tension.
Task: Your goal was to address the rude behavior professionally, and restore a positive work environment.
Action: You requested a private meeting with your colleague to discuss the incident. During the meeting, you expressed how their behavior affected you and the team. You listened to their perspective, and together, brainstormed solutions to improve communication.
Result: The discussion led to a mutual understanding. Your colleague apologized, and both of you agreed on more constructive ways to communicate. The team noticed a positive change in the work environment, which boosted morale.
