Such a shame that highly qualified people are not being offered jobs due to S.T.A.R. They are pre-empted and not realistic. An interview should be based on the response of an individual in the moment not how they have researched prior to the interview to answer the questions.

I think it sucks. It's really hard to be specific about things that happened months or years ago. It's also really hard to come up with a relevant story in a matter of seconds.
