      I have some questions:
      1. I’ve been rejected from about 50 interviews. (In the last one they found the excuse that I could have given more examples. There must have been 20 to 30 perfectly given interviews with no feedback at all. The feedback I got from a lot of them is that they went for another candidate).
      2. Before the pandemic it only took around 4 interviews to secure a new role
      3. I went to a top business school and have half a decade of experience working for blue chip companies
      4. *I’ve been given the advice by some corporate operatives that I could still somehow secure a role at a top company even if I’ve been unemployed for half a dozen years*
*Is it discrimination? Is it bias because there is money involved? I would just like to know what is going on as I’m being forced to retire early abroad/take a career break in the summer*.

Morning Amri. Watched a few of these kind of videos now and I found yours to be the clearest so thank you. As my interview later today is for a technical post, I find the new style of interview using these types of questions very new and quite irrelevant to me. I’m used to being asked technical questions and how I would apply engineering a situation but this is no longer the case with large companies who now use this interviewing style. I’ve certainly gleaned some great tips using your video and feel pretty confident I can pass my interview today! 🤞

I haven’t interviewed for a job in probably 27 years so this STAR method is new to me. I’ve watched several vids about it and I like the way you have explained it so thoroughly. I have 1 question. How likely is it that an interviewer would ask, tell me about a time when you failed and tell me about a time you made a mistake? My answer would be the same for both of those. Not to say I haven’t errored. I just can’t think of a lot of times that would be relevant for an interview answer.

Although I had others helping, your guidance definitely helped me. I scored 6 in both behaviours and total of 10 (out of 12) for 3 strengths questions. Thank You.

got called for an interview tomorrow, with this short notice my mind struggling to focus. i have unsolicited rehearsals in my head, that are unstructured. they going on even while i watch this. im trying to do breathing exercises and meditation, this is too much stimulation. Im not even panicking, no fear at all so strange. could be because ive been unemployed for 8 months

Best of luck for your interview tomorrow. If you're finding it difficult to focus, I would recommend just singling out one area that would be most impactful, for example if interview nerves are the main issue, just focus on basic 10 minute breathing. If it's a role specific issue, run through one short answer in a five minute practice as opposed to trying to fit it all in. Wishing you the best of luck! 🤞🏽

I have like...No communication skills in person, ahahaha, so I'm definitely nervous about my own interview - of which is tomorrow (after I post, not your day).
I struggle with answering questions and am also very insecure, but am trying to remind myself that it was that same insecurity that made me ultimately lose my job - though it was also part of a program.
For the record, I'm autistic, so doing anything face to face - even with a prior employer - is very daunting. I've been unemployed for a couple of months, and am just now getting used to independant living, so things became stressful after my job loss for sure. My summer was super boring and I realized I quite frankly got bored with doing stuff at home, even if they were hobbies such as drawing on the computer and working on stories. xD
To think I was actually loving the Jobless Life for all this time.

Thank you for this informative video. I'm just curious, how long does this phone call interview about situational or behavioral last? Would it take 30mins to 1hr? Also, can someone gave me a range on how many situational questions their going to ask? I would love to read experiences 💕

Question about my past "MATRIXS"? I never had to think about that before nor know the meaning of it. Could you explain.

Hello! I have an important interview coming up that will be situational/behavioral questions. And what I’m wondering is how long should my answers be? I feel good about the content and average anywhere from 1 and a half to 2 and a half minutes. But I’ve heard some people say these types of questions should be answered in 3 to 4 minutes. Thanks!

I agree, one to two minutes is usually the best length, however, if you're describing a complex situation three or four minutes would be fine too.

I am having trouble putting together examples for three behaviour questions using the STAR method.
Provide an example of when you needed to apply your judgment to reach a decision guided by complex regulations or policies.
Describe a time when a significant change presented an opportunity to improve the quality of your work. and Describe a scenario when you collaborated with another stakeholder to resolve an operational challenge. Can you please provide examples
