Thank you for all your help! Your videos made a world of a difference for me ! I gained so much confidence in interviewing. Received a few job offers and I couldn’t have done it without you !!
I find situation based questions ridiculous. I got asked if I've ever had to make a quick decision. That's like being asked have you ever yawned or breathed. So stupid i couldn't even respond. To answer these stupid questions one has to have fictitious stories at hand. It's counterproductive. Why not ask exact questions regarding the specific job and how you'll fit. Interviews need to change. It's 2023 now. This is the type of basic stuff that was asked 20 years ago.
I agree !! This method is used even for internal hiring . I'm like if y'all see me doing great, ask me to apply - why interview me with these action based questions. It's wild 😂
This is one of the best STAR interview videos on RUclips. You deliver your examples at pace, you communicate in a clear and concise way. Every example was easy to follow. Thank you 😊

I got the job offer today! Thank you so much!! You are a pro at S T A R. I watched your videos, especially this one, and prepared an Excel sheet with examples from my 14-year career, mapping them to your concepts. I grouped everything accordingly, and guess what? I received the offer confirmation today in London! Phew! After two technical interviews and a behavioral interview, I nailed it because of you! I would love to send you that Excel sheet. Thanks again-you saved me. You are such a wonderful trainer. Keep up the good work!
What a great and useful video. I am having an interview couple days later and this video took my anxiety and provided a great path to the possible question. I feel stronger now, thank you 🙏
Thanks so much for your channel and advice. I bombed out of an interview a month ago for a dream job. Googling "star method" got me to your channel. I followed your prep steps, including research, listening to my voice (eek) and practising answers. I then had 2 interviews, offers from both and accepted the best one🙂.

Thanks so much for these tips! All your videos are great and have been really helpful for prepping for all my interviews coming up. Would love a video about interview tips for recent grads if you have time
Thank you for your brilliant video. I really enjoyed my learning, but please can you make some videos for engineering kind of situations as well. Cheers.
This video is AMAZING. It must have taken so much hard work to create. The example answers and your analyses of what made them effective were spectacular. 11/10 will be recommending this video to all my friends and mentees
These are very informative videos and very very helpful but you speak too fast and move from topic to topic too quickly!! But still one of the best I have found to date!
Thank you for your videos. I really like your mock answers. However, in my recent interview for the Office Assistant position, I got a question 'How do you say NO to your customers( employees and vendors or other stakeholders) without creating a negative office environment? can you please help me on this
As someone who’s worked in retail awhile, I would: thanks them, reiterate what the persons issues are with empathy, tell them your reasoning, provide other options, ask for feedback.
Hi Margo, really interesting question, thanks for asking. I sometimes include reflection in the 'learning' section of the STAR method (when an 'L' is occasionally added on to the end), however, as most interviewers, I've worked with use the 'R' as 'Result' to assess candidates I've decided to reflect this version in the video.

Why would you offer a discount on the item you have in shortage? If you encouraged the clients to buy something you have in shortage, you'll end up with less itams of that... I think you mean you offered a discount on the item you had in excess? Sorry I tend to overanalise stuff that don't need extra thinking...

If they invited you for an interview they are aware that you have no prior experience, but feel that you could potentially do the job.
