Hahah… I once went into an interview and when asked this question I started talking about my family. Let’s just say I never heard back.

Me too! They don’t want to hear anything personal. Once I was asked what was my proudest moment and I sad completing my degree whilst raising a young mum as I was recently divorced at the time. They said oh I’m sorry that must’ve been so hard, well done, You are so strong. I never heard back from them

Thanks for sharing the video - very informative. Can you please share a complex example of introducing yourself for an internal recruiter role?

A lot of times i have heard that it's better to be a master of 1 particular skill or task rather than ordinary at many things - as per the saying goes " Jack of all trades but master of None " so my question was will it be beneficial to work in a small company as a specialist or in a large company as generalist ? In terms of making more money at faster rate bcoz the problem is there is a fixed growth in top companies in a normal routine. So how to break the chain & rules to achieve exceptional growth without getting stuck in age old career ladder corporate system that offers not much to the employees but works for the owners very well..

It depends on your career goals - they both have their benefits. Some specialist areas have the potential to earn more but generalist work can allow for more options - but this varies depending on the industry. I recommend setting out a career plan if you don't already have one as this should help with clarity.

I did all the interviews and I got very good feedback and they ask me to provide them with the references and after they contact my references I got a good positive email from the company, later on after 10 days the company selected someone else and didn’t give me any feedback 😢, what do you advise me to do?

I'm sorry to hear that - sounds like a frustrating experience, ideally, they should have given you helpful feedback after your interview but sometimes this doesn't happen unfortunately - don't give up on your search. I cover handling follow-ups in this video, hope it helps, and best of luck! ruclips.net/video/ME-VbqEh6ME/видео.html
