_Welcome to Hollywood! What's your dream? Everybody comes here; this is Hollywood, land of dreams. Some dreams come true, some don't; but keep on dreamin' - this is Hollywood. Always time to dream, so keep on dreamin'._
I LOVE your channel. As an 80's baby, movies from the 80s-2000s are not only ingrained in my mind, but a reminder of my childhood. I've always wanted to visit the filming locations, but haven't been able to... yet. Watching your videos takes me there.
Brilliant Kurt, I mean who hasn't seen this movie, not a film I personally own but the fact I love movie locations is good enough for me. Very well done as always, looking forward to the next one 😊
My bf and I have always talked about doing our own Pretty Woman location tour… thank you for doing it for us 🥰 A great way to spend Valentine’s night! ❤️
Great job on the locations! Great video! 👍👍 I grew up in Hollywood Blvd back in the late 70s and early 80s and ALOT has changed! Not the same anymore. I liked the old school Hollywood. Good lost memories! The magic is gone. 🥀
I was just in LA over the weekend and walked by the Las Palmas Hotel. It was funny because one of those "Hollywood tours" drove up and everyone in the van was singing the song "Pretty Woman" haha!
🎉👏👏👏👏👏👏Thank YOU for doing this!!! PRETTY WOMAN is one of my top 10 favorite movies!!!!!!!! Thank you 🙏 Thank you!! Now I want to go to that club Cicada Club and have dinner there!! I enjoyed all the info you shared!!
Always amazed how you get the shots. Great video. If you are ever in Valencia, I'll take you around town in my Trans Am and maybe talk you into doing some Knight Rider episodes? LOL.
I really like this film, my wife told me to watch it with her thought it was gonna be a bad film but l really good, so cool to see theses locations and taking us on another awesome adventure.
So awesome. What a great film, they don't make them like they used to. And what a shame about the Ambassador hotel, would've been cool to visit the inside of the hotel.
Another awesome video man I love your channel and your movie locations. Curious i have no idea how you find all your information. But the Chris Farley classic to myself anyway is Beverly Hills Ninja would love to see locations of that one if they exist lol.
When I moved to L.A. in November 1992, I will never forget that huge Bo Jackson poster that was on Hollywood Blvd. You can see it in this move. Considering this movie filmed in 1989, that poster was there for a long time.
Since me, my niece, & my mom loved PW, it's cool to see where a number of the scenes were filmed, it's always a trip, because even if you've visited LA, you get an idea of what has changed since then, I've done the same thing when I flew to Chicago, as well as Denver, one should always do a chart the changes tour, it's a different perspective!!!
Here's the thing about Los Angeles. If you like the ambience or certain look of a place ... well immerse yourself in it right now, take a picture and enjoy it. 'Cause it'll either be totally changed or torn down and removed within 6 months to a year hence. They call Los Angeles the city of dreams for a reason. Many people in the world have a dream be they actors, actresses, agents, writers, clothing designers, merchants, politicians, pimps & hustlers (same thing as politicians) and what have you. They all want and change the environment to suit their needs and desires. The streets of Los Angeles and Hollywood are washed daily by their tears. Good luck my friend.
This movie was filmed in the same places of American Gigolò, ten years after that film. Beverly Hills, Rodeo drive, Hollywood boulevard, Sunset boulevard, Bel Air.
I’m sure now no one would bat an eye at the way Julia Roberts (Vivian) would be dressed while walking through Rodeo Drive now .. lol how times change .
Dang it, really? I walked up and down that park trying to match it up, and that was the only spot that matched. So is it in the same section with the fountain?
They use that same Rolls-Royce in many shots throughout the film. In front of hotel, fancy shops, Hollywood blvd etc. Special effect budget wasn't very large;)
Garry Marshall´s crew did not go to the Pittsburgh to shoot the facade of the Carnegie Music Hall; footage from it shot earlier in the 80s for the movie FLASHDANCE was used. Wonderful dod about the locations, though!

Love this ... you should do locations for Fast Times at Ridgemont High

Great job. Like all your filming location videos the detail is right on point
The locations looked more classy, rich looking back then. 80's and 90's where the best decades ever. Great video!
Brilliant Kurt, I mean who hasn't seen this movie, not a film I personally own but the fact I love movie locations is good enough for me. Very well done as always, looking forward to the next one 😊

The before and after of the Lotus pulling up in front of the hotel where the modern day shot has a Ferrari F8 was pretty slick.
As alway, very enjoyable to watch Kurt. You are definitely one of my favorite RUclipsrs….!
I can't tell ya how much that means to me. Thank you!!
Great job on the locations!
Great video! 👍👍

Having lived in the SF Valley for so long, I've seen all those places many times except the opening scene at the house party. Great work
I've wrote this before, I'll write this again: How you don't have 500k subs is amazing to me. Great channel.

Absolutely
Great video as always .

I was pretty woman (Hooker version) last year for Halloween 🎃 This is great thanks! I live only 3 minutes from Vivian’s apartment! Thank you!
My pleasure 🙂 thank you!

You should get a drone for some shots of the houses that have trees and fences in front. Great stuff by the way. Gave you a sub.

my wife passed away 3 yrs ago and this was her favorite movie of all time...for you dear😢
This movie was filmed in the same places of American Gigolò, ten years after that film. Beverly Hills, Rodeo drive, Hollywood boulevard, Sunset boulevard, Bel Air.
I’m sure now no one would bat an eye at the way Julia Roberts (Vivian) would be dressed
while walking through
Rodeo Drive now ..
lol how times change .
Your sarcasm about waiting in traffic for an hour only to miss the shot. Gold😂
Literally started watching PW now and go to RUclips and I see this crazy
That's crazy. Ha. Thank you for watching
brilliant as usual. i dont watch the ones on films i havent seen - spoilers you know...
Respect to you
Thank you
I used to go to bar Deluxe off Las Palmas and Hollywood Blvd. Vivian passes by the location heading from her apt to the Blvd.
would he do the Deuce Bigalow locations sometime?
Great segment ! Can you do one on the 1983 breathless movie 🎥?
Great movie
The scene of the picnic was filmed a bit west of where you filmed. That spot was a parking lot of the court house at the time of filming the movie…
Dang it, really? I walked up and down that park trying to match it up, and that was the only spot that matched. So is it in the same section with the fountain?
Do you think you can do the movie locations for Vamp 1986? One of my favs and has not been done by anyone yet. Thank you
They use that same Rolls-Royce in many shots throughout the film. In front of hotel, fancy shops, Hollywood blvd etc. Special effect budget wasn't very large;)
Fun Fact- that homeless man is played by Garry Marshall, the movie's Director!! (at 4:08)
Garry Marshall´s crew did not go to the Pittsburgh to shoot the facade of the Carnegie Music Hall; footage from it shot earlier in the 80s for the movie FLASHDANCE was used.
Wonderful dod about the locations, though!
would have be able to find the Hobgoblins locations?
The scene outside the opera house is taken from Flashdance.
Wow never knew they used the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh for that exterior scene
can you do filming locations of THE LIMEY or MIRACLE MILE ?
The Lotus Esprit is nearly as beautiful as Vivian is🫠
Fun Fact: Rivers Cuomo from the band Weezer worked at that Tower Records
Blue Banana Nightclub!?
We don't want no blue bananas in here.
That could lead to serious health complications.
Next do Armed and Dangerous, Fletch, or Dragnet.
Is pretty women from 1990s I remember it being in the theater. I'm 46.
"For my wife"...lol...sure it is!
6:34 This hotel now offer a $100,000 a night Pretty Woman package.
I notice a lot of gates
Vivian gets in the Lotus and as they drive off the billboard, though different, is still owned by (shocker) Scientology. *whomp whomp*
Yep. It's on the side of one of their many buildings
Beverly Hills COP Location
Built on a set, no wonder why moves cost so much to make, they Fooled me
