    Hello, everyone.
    This video shows how to install RGB Converter, which transfers RGB Voltage 5V to 12V. This is the answer to the question for the largest portion of the RGB Fan video I've posted so far. A lot of people were asking if their motherboard fits the RGB. Some had no RGB headers and some had 12V headers. So I made this video for you guys. If you're watching this video and have a motherboard without a 5V RGB header, I hope you can solve it through this Converter.
    If you want to buy it, please purchase it at the link below. Thanks for watching it.

      This is just a converter to change the voltage from 12V to 5V. Most of the cheap RGB fan and pre-build fan uses 5V 3 pin so, if your motherboard has only 12V 4 pin header, it is the right choice but if you have a 5V 3 pin either, you can combine all 5V 3 pin with splitter hub and then connect to 5V 3 pin ARGB header on your board. This device is for the person who wants to change the voltage from 12V to 5V. This is a popular splitter hub. Here is the link: 5V RGB Splitter Hub amz.run/4TOg Thank you for your comments.

      @@comtongny7776 So basically what you are saying is connect all the fans to the splitter hub then connect it to the converter then to the rgb header. I thought I can't use a splitter so I need to connect the fans directly to the converter and was worried that the converter don't have enough port. Thank you very much! You da man! 👍👍👍

    Can it work with a fan controller hub? I have connected 3 fans with each having a 5 pin connector to my controller hub, and from which a single 3pin 5v cable is coming out, for the mobo (gigabyte b450m gaming) So my question is, can I run all the fans at once with my controller hub?? You know just plugin the 3pin to the converter and then to the mobo, with both connected to sata for power...?

      Yes, it is. However, both the ARGB fan and the Liquid cooler fan should be 5V 3pin, and the connection port of the case controller should be sufficient. If it's not enough, you should use Splitter. Here is the link: 5V RGB Splitter Hub amz.run/4TOg Thank you for your comments.

    Our board only has 12V RGB Header (4-pin) - our CPU Fan has ARGB 5V. With this converter we can use our Fan on this board? And can we control the ARGB Fan with the MSI Software from the board (which is actually for the 12V RGB header)? In the video your colors are flickering with the mystic light software - is this an effect or an error?

    • @comtongny7776
      @comtongny7776  3 года назад

      MSI board doesn't sync when you connect 5V 3 pin connector to 4 pin ARGB header. It is a commonly known issue while we use this converter. It's light on but it can't be sync. Otherwise, everything like RAM or GPU is OK to work. I recommend using a 12V 4 pin RGB fan like Corsair or NZXT if you have an MSI board. Thank you for your comments.

      Yes. There are only 2 x 5050 RGB LED strip 12V connectors on this board so you need a converter to change the voltage from 12V to 5V. If you need to connect only the CPU cooler, connect 5V 2 pin(D,G) from the cooler to the 5V 3 pin port of the converter and then connect the 12V 5050 RGB connectors to the 12V 4 pin port of the converter. If you need to connect more than 1 RGB device you can use a 5V hub to combine it all together. 5V RGB Splitter Hub amz.run/4TOg Thank you for your comments.

    • @comtongny7776
      @comtongny7776  3 года назад

      This is not the controller. This device is only for the converting voltage for the RGB device from 12V to 5V. If you want to control RGB color, you need to use RGB compatible motherboard when you build an RGB case. If your board has only 1 12V ARGB header then you can use this converter to change the voltage from12V to 5V because most ARGB fan uses 5V voltage. Hopefully, you understand what I'm saying. Thank you for your comments.

      This device is only for converting voltage from 12V to 5V because most RGB fan uses 5V voltage. If your board has a 5V 3 pin ARGB header there is no problem but if not, you need this converter to change the voltage from 12V to 5V. First of all, your board must compatible with addressable RGB which means that need 5V 3 pin ARGB header. If yes, you can simply connect 3 pin and 4 pin connector to the converter accordingly. And then download a sync program from your M/B manufacturer's website like ASRock Polychrome. Good Luck! Thank you for your comments.
