I'm using one without any problems. I use an Antec RGB controller with four fans plugged in and then that plugged into the converter. And because you can control Asus motherboards and GPUs in iCue, I can control everything through iCue. I even have an additional cheap 12v RGB strip plugged into on of the 12v headers on the converter and it works perfect. You do not have full ARGB control, but solid colours or solid colour changes works perfect.
The top 5v with the D is for Deepcool fans exclusively, hense the D.. this is a Deepcool product. the other connectors are for ASUS, MSI and the bottom one is for Gigabyte..
since it only has one 5v output, can i use a splitter to power more 5v RGB devices. i have 4 RGB fans in a hub and a Deepcool gammax RGB cooler that also requires a 5v input, on my B450 F gaming board.
I have a Gigabyte ga-z270x-gaming-k5 motherboard. The LED_C has five pins. PINS 1-12v 2-G 3-R 4-B 5-W. I don't know if this device would work or destroy my mb. Please advise.
Did you ever find the one that has 2 3 pin 5v rgb plug ins

Hello can I put an RGB 3 pin hub on this
What type 12v or 5V do you have ?
@@Upgradetech I have a hub that needs a 5v 3pin to power all fans
the pin is a 2 + 1 (2 on one side 1 on the other)

Thanks great info, some people don't even want the RGB control but Christmas is around thr corner it would be nice to change the colors to the season.
whaaat no full argb control lol solid colors and solid color changes ? I already had that without this stupid box...
Theres still no way to control the RGB through the motherboard/software???
I heard of a way but haven't try this yet.
@@Upgradetech what is that way?
Question: bro i have b450 tomahawk max which has 4pin /12v rgb header can i sync argb fans with this converter?? BTW nice video 😍😍
Not sure an I wouldn't you might burn something on thr motherboard if the power is different
so you can sync them but it seems like it can only sync as long as you choose a static color effect..no cool lighting effects
@@Ant_Stark yeah 12v isn't addressable

Can i use an 5v ARGB Splitter (with sata power) to it? I'm not finding any converter with more than one 5v ARGB connection...
Maybe daisy chain?
Is the 3 pin 5v from the lights in your case???
No its a fan voltage 12v
A three pin connector is basically power (5/12 volt)
can i mix rgb fans like 3 fans with 3pin and 3 fans with 4pins using this rgb convertor to sync in mobo?
Can I connect this Convertor to sys fan ?
could you put a 1to4 3 pin splitter for more argb connections?
Is this needed to run the fans cause my pc fans RGB is working but not running

You can do that with a splitter cable

if the motherboard have not rgb header.where i insert the 4pin from rgb converter

Can i convert 12V 4 pin to 5v 3pin with this device ? with full a-rgb support ?
You can but the power level will not change
Show my fan hubs only have three connections I have to buy one of these just for my fans to work bro w
Can we connect another hub to that? Like dr12 pro to be exact
It would probably short circuit
Your GPU is crooked 😅
