Wow! You are about to knock on Mama K door!!! Nice walk in woods on here today, I understand you keeping your shoes on through water crossings knowing you are too close to the end to cut your feet Great video!!!
So many miles down and so few to go. Nice to be sharing the upcoming final success with friends you’ve made along the way. Ramdino included your report in his summary yesterday. Fun to see that. Hope your knee is cooperating, but I know it’s not going to stop you so easy does it. What do you call a knee acting strange and silly ? You call it a - Loo-knee!!!
Well been following you and greyman for the duration. His broadcast is delayed so surprised to see you together. Been a fun hiking season for us couch hikers. Thanks for showing the other hikers you encounter.
Great video, Blue Grass. The trail looked very flat, it seems like you made no time at all getting to Shaw's. I was surprised that the large quantity of people at Shaw's. Thanks again for sharing your journey. Stay safe.
You are one tough hombre, fighting through that injury early on, and I’m going to guess by the time you read this you’ll either be very close or complete. Prayers and stay frosty!
Maybe you need to be looking for Cowinkle, hahaha. I hope those gray skies cleared up for you. Looking forward to finding out how you fared in the hundred mile wilderness.
SO EXCITED FOR YOU, GETTING SO CLOSE TO THE FINISH LINE. WAS NICE TO SEE YOU AND GRAYMAN WALKING. I DIDN'T KNOW HIS SON WAS COMING TO WALK WITH HIM FOR THE HUNDRED MILE. I'M GLAD HE DID. I WAS WORRIED ABOUT HIM AND HIS SPIRIT. FROM WHAT I SEE FROM OTHER HIKERS, IT CAN GET PRETTY HARD OUT THERE EMOTIONALLY.
You will hear Poet give you the end of the trail speech before he drops you off on your journey thru the100 mile wilderness..It is something he does for Hikers every year! Hopefully you will get a food drop at Jo Mary Rd and then into Antlers Campsite. We actually saw a Big Bull Moose just before we got to Abol Bridge... Keep pushing North!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~Maverick71~~~~~~~~~~~
Not necessarily. Boots, yeah. Trail runners not so much. They grip well and keep the sharp rocks from cutting your feet. The last thing I want out here is a deep cut on my foot
Seeing my friends together makes me smile so big. Happy hiking friends.
Thanks

"Been a fun hiking season for us couch hikers." That's how I feel. It's even more sweet watching older hikers trekking like champs.
Thanks y’all. Hopefully all this walking will help keep me young😂

A lot of hikers there. Trail getting crowded.
Hike safe.
Not necessarily. All hikers on the trail get funnelled through Shaws. A lot are day hikers and section hikers going different directions
