    When you showed you first view of Katahdin way off in the distance, I felt a burst of adrenaline. So excited for you and Bluegrass after following you on this adventure!!

    Almost got choked up with you when you Katahdin. Congratulations to you both. Going to be bittersweet the day I watch your summit video. Remarked to Bluegrass, thanks for carrying us along.

    That looked like a great place to set up house for the night! It looks so peaceful there. I think that’s why I like my time in the woods because there you don’t have politics, war, bills or all the other things that consume our lives when we are back in “civilization” and now a days, I use that term loosely! Enjoy the time you have left in the emerald paradise! 😁

    Hey Chuck! I'm so inspired by you and Bluegrass!
    How does it feel looking at that 2100 mile marker? Y'all have walked/climbed/hiked 2100 miles!!! It's mind-blowing!
    I can't wait to do what you're doing.
    I'd love to have a cup of coffee or two with you when you get back to NC and learn from your experience!
    Godspeed to you 🙏

    So sorry you’re not seeing moose. I always see them in Algonquin park. They come out to like the salt from the winter which accumulates on the shoulder of the road. Must be very careful when driving. The most I ever saw was on the Skyline trail in Cape Breton. 18 on a single hike. Most were down the cliff but did get between momma and little one. I was a long time standing still on that one. They just kept eating the grass but momma kept a good I on me.

    That must be an incredible feeling-to look out across such a wide expanse of country and know you’ll actually WALK all that way to Katahdin in the distance. Wow.

    First sighting of Mama K!! That'll get the adrenaline going! It will be an emotional day indeed. Let it rip, it's part of the enjoyment. The culmination of all you've gone through to get there. We'll all rejoice with you and Bluegrass! What a day that will be when Mama K you shall see!! Spinoff from a gospel song you may be familiar with. Take care.

    I always want to ask the hikers how they go through this entire trail without ticks? Do you have to deal with them?

    Hey bandit this is Dale vodden by my calculations from when I received day 189 you should be out of the 100-mile wilderness and if not already crested Mount katahdin you should be at the base of Mount katahdin and also I may be wrong but whichever it is stay safe have fun and I'll see you at the end of your videos Happy Trails and God bless

      @dalevodden1359 4 месяца назад

      @@ChuckHowell-Outdoors yeah I understand that but still you know it's like come on some common sense and some of those Rivers would be nice to have a footbridge crossing even though that trail is rugged enough as it is it would still be nice though God bless happy trails stay safe you're so close I want to see you make it to katahdin I want to see you stand on that sign

    • @ChuckHowell-Outdoors
