Rare car and in good condition! Should make a nice restore project. I used to have a '69 GTX w/ a 440, hemi 4-speed with pistol grip shifter, Dana rear and took a lot of work to get back original again, but was so much fun to drive! The '67 is very rare and was a joy to see, thanks!

I need to find one of these in a barn. Now on disability i couldnt afford one. I should Have bought the 67 i found in 1982 or so. All original 426 GTX auto at 9k. That was a lot of money then but now its nothing. Always kicked myself in the ass for not getting a loan. Now at 57 it would be so enjoyable to work on it as i could. I miss my old hotrods . 3 back surgeries i cant do heavy lifting but a garage and cherry picker i have. At least i got my old Harley shovelhead i can enjoy but man i miss sitting at a light with the car rocking and then going through the gears. Should have put one in storage but who knew they would get so damn expensive. Your a lucky guy to own that car id never get rid of another if i got my hands on one.

A word of advice. Cars like this do not require you to push in the clutch to start them. It’s not a new Mustang. Put the car in neutral, then with your foot OFF the clutch, start the car. The part of the video where you are pointing out that there is no choke and you show your left foot with the clutch to the floor is so unbelievably frustrating to someone who understands how cars and engines work. You are putting lots of unnecessary wear on the thrust bearing of the crankshaft. Even if you felt it necessary to start it with the clutch pedal depressed, why keep it there for so long?

Spend the time and money for better brakes, think 4 wheel disc, rebuild suspension and add tires and wheels. Something around 15 x10 rears / 295/50 and 15x8 front / 235/50. Drive the crap out of it. Just please don't make this badass ride into a money's no object, numbers matching, nothing but profit minded show car that just gets looked at. Something that's sealed away from the time it's finished until someone with more money than sense just has to have it for the collection nobody will ever see. There's plenty of those already.....
