Man I just finished this show like 30 minutes ago! It honestly was one of my favorite shows I’ve ever watched! 🔥
That box is way better these the anniversary set they did here in the UK. I’d love a blu ray set too but only if they fixed the remaster they did.
The remaster wasn't an official release... and was only shown on American tv network.
I don't know where you got your information from but I've heard nothing about Buffy getting a blu ray release and I'm perfectly happy with that. The HD remaster that Fox did was absolutely terrible and is full of so many issues and errors that it's basically unwatchable for any true Buffy fan. If that is the version of the show they would release on blu ray then they aren't going to make a lot of money and the backlash will be even worse than the initial one when the HD remaster first came out. I doubt Disney would pay to do a brand new remaster so all we'd get is the terrible one that exists now tweaked with minor corrections and that just isn't good enough.
What they should do is release the show on DVD again but this time with a brand new higher quality SD transfer of the source material, with updated menus, more special features and re-insert the "Previously On Buffy..." recap segments that were cut out of the initial DVD release for no reason at all. All Fox has ever done is change the packaging with each new release, but the disc content itself has always remained exactly the same, Buffy has never gotten the proper treatment it deserves from Fox and now that Disney owns the show I don't have any faith in them of giving Buffy a proper release either unfortunately.
The outer box of this set is pretty cool but the individual season sets inside have horrible neon coloring and badly photoshopped images of Buffy holding different weapons, whoever designed these should be fired, whoever approved that design after they saw it should be tarred and feathered in the streets!
Hey! Sorry to bother you, but I'm about to buy as a gift and thought you might know- is the 20th anniversary complete series box set the same thing as that terrible remastered version??
@@kerrychristensen7204 No, no Buffy DVD sets are the terrible HD remastered version. Not the 20th Anniversary complete set nor individual season sets. You can rest assured if you purchase this set it will be the original version of Buffy. This is NOT the terrible remaster, that bad HD remaster has only been released on cable channels and streaming but never on disc for obvious reasons.

Do think that Buffy The Vampire Slayer will get a re-release just like How I Met Your Mother and Anger DVD? Besides this one should deserve a re-release.

Yes they are the same as the standard dvd. Also they are not remastered..
i just bought this on ebay and the quality of the episodes are absolutely horrible, much worse than whats on Hulu.. really bad artifacts around the text is the most obvious issue for me. do you have the same issues? are these dvds just really bad or did i get ripped off buying a bootleg ?
Probably bootleg like every other complete series on eBay
