I love the design of the Kasha in Nioh. It has a burned tail and burned clothes, and the Kasha's whip is actually a skeletal arm attatched to a human spine, and it even has the cracked skull frozen in a scream of agony, and the wheels have writhing corpses on them. And then she summons Preta from Gakido(Basically a form of Hell where you're eternally hungry and either on fire or freezing to death, depending on the temperture at the time) to fight for her. The fight even takes place in a burning temple-where Kasha usually reside as strays like most Bakeneko until they reach the age of 10+ and a battlefield where corpses she steals lie around. They went all out with this damn thing in more ways than one while staying true to it's origins minus the fiery wheels, but even that is an awesome addition that revolves around this Yokai's themes: Death, corpses and the promsie of torture for the wicked and those unfortunate enough to have their corpses spirited away by her.
I wonder if there is a reason that she doesn't just have a chariot... Kasha are supposed to pull flaming chariots, which is why she has the wheels, but why just the wheels? Technical difficulties? Maybe just an artistic choice...
@@Twisted_Tempest would have to be a massive arena I reckon, and no one likes to run after bosses constantly (AKA Midir in DS3), alternativelly, imagine how weird it would be if she just did a 180 to turn on you on a full chariot, would probs feel awkward af, just a guess tho
@@adamiadamiadami Iirc, it was an annoying fight as he had too much HP and his weak spot was hard to hit and the fact you had to chase him and avoid his laser attacks made the fight drag on for too long.
If anyone her knows the Dancer of the Boreal’s Valley OST from DS3, it just does not sound the same without the eerie footsteps overlapping the music. Kasha’s OST is exactly like that to me , it just sounds so much better with her constant laughing to really give chills up your spine , I do hope someone does upload a version like that some day! This OST is none the less very good and thank you for uploading it with the opening!
MVP! Thanks for doing this one! I just loved this fight and the track. When you enter the Dark Realm and this part of the track kicks in 2:45 was such an awesome moment. I especially love the part from 3:20
i still wonder if this was saitos familiar, or an actual kasha that did crawl up from hell to steal nobunagas and oichis corpses. both are metal as fuck.

True. Fire res talismans have the advantage of reducing dmg as well. If you have justsu left they're a better choice imo
