I’m glad you were the ones to buy Ken’s concrete tools, worked out well for both of you!
Oh! So you’re the ones who bought Ken’s tools!!!!
Awesome!
That Brutus gets more handsome every day.
Brutus is literally growing on camera. Every post He looks like a different dog.
Ken said he had a buyer for his screed and trowel. Didn't dawn on me he meant AL. 😂
Brutus is hysterical. I could watch him all day. Thanks for adding it in.
Glad to see Ken at the homestead. You will enjoy those cement tools, he and his old crew took care all their tools, well. Love watching both your channels.
It was so sweet watching Brutus playing with the cows and the cows playing with him!
Couldn't you suspend the chicken tractors from the ceiling in either the shop or barn and thus keep them completely out of the weather when not in use?
No !
You could, but why would want to such a stupid thing?
Brutus is so much fun to watch. If you let him in your house, he’d be a lap dog for sure. Sweet disposition. Great dog!
A 150 pound lap Dog who would yearn for his Cattle that are outdoors ?
Brutus is a riot! Had a good laugh at his antics with the cows.
Brutus having fun with the two cows. It's so cool to see him do that indeed. Awesome job on the chickens tractors. Keep up the great work.
Good day Lumnah family friends, the new chicken tractors will last for some years. Brutus is a hoot, he loves his cows. Al, you have us all wondering what is coming next, with Ken's concrete tools.
Brutus with his cows was fun to watch! Good to see Ken again. Love his retirement projects.
Ken’s tiny house is off to a roaring start!
Pretty cool that you’re keeping Ken’s tools going! It was fun watching him and the crew building on your property…now I enjoy watching him building on his own!
That is the cutest thing watching Brutus play with the cows! That really made my day! 😎
Watching Brutus with the cows has made the start of my day soooo happy! ❤❤❤ He really does love the cows & I think the cows love him as well ❤❤❤
Brutus is so darn cute! His interaction with the cows was precious. Also, love your redesign on the chicken tractors. The upgrades you’ve made really make a lot of sense.
They should get a lot of years use out of these new ones.
Brutus cracks me up playing with the cows 😂🌻😆
Those are HIS cows.
To Al and Gina, I understand the need to make it lighter much easier to handle, but too light can still allow a predator to use their snout to slightly lift up the tractor and get in and attend a chicken buffet! With the surplus of medium sized rocks around the Homestead, you will have easy and cheap protection by strategically placing them on top of the tractor! Good Luck, and love your Channel.
Has been used for over a decade, didn't you watch while listening ?
@@4Classie Of course I watched and also listened, what a silly remark to make!!! But I was concerned that a chicken tractor being light, could also allow a predator easy access to the chickens!
@@TheChuck019456
Chuck! ( 1. 2. 3. )
If a Predator explores Chicken Tractor the Chickens squawk alarm, Brutus is expected to defend, the hardware wire offers a measure of protection !
If Predator would try lifting to get at Chickens, wouldn't happen for fear of getting trapped under, to big for flipping-over !
If Predator tried digging under to get at Chickens it would take time, again Brutus is expected to defend !
So' Chicken Tractors being used by homesteaders is nothing new, and it is of proper size, but it cannot be on property unattended ignored, without any protection measures, cause if allowed enough time a extremely hungry animal ( bear or coyote ) could in time defeat the protection, but that time of it being ignored is not good animal Husbandry !
Nothing protects 100% but Al Chicken Tractors come close, and are designed to cost as little as possible and easily duplicated !
Brutus is such a goofball 😂.
The corrugated pvc should also give some strength/rigidity to the chicken tractors. Good choice. Also they will blend into the landscape as opposed to the Blue tarps.
Brutus wanting the cows to play is too funny. He needs a bud to play with. Azalea is looking at him, like, you are such a goofy kid! LOL
😂. She sure was.
Yes, I think he needs a pal. He’s a delightful and totally gorgeous doggy.
Azalea, Chip, Hope, Daisy, Miles and George are his buddies, remember Brutus has a JOB to do !
Yeah, looks like he's "bonding" beautifully with Azalea and Cookie!
"Play with me!"
@@davidgetchell3633 he will need a buddy to help him do his job anyway 😊
Al, I noticed when you were cutting boards on the chop saw the sawdust was firing into your electric outlet without a cover. Don’t risk the fire 🔥. Gina I know you’ll get after him. Because I care.
Excited to see what the tooth fairy brings Brutus. Good idea inscribing the year on things you build / purchase. You have so many things to keep track of.
Haha. I knew it was going to be Ken!! Good for both of you!! Glad you got great equipment!!
Nice to see Ken after his retirement from construction.
And i thaught Ken sold his concrete tools to you when i saw his channel
Ken must be very happy to have you with his infamous concrete stash! They are at a happy place for sure!
It is very adorable to see how Brutus is socializing with the cows! 😁👍🏼😁👍🏼
So fun watching Brutus with the cows! I can't wait to see home with the Highanders!!!
So enjoyable watching Brutus playing with the cows. ❤
I could watch Brutus and the cows playing alllllllll day. LOL.
Me tooooo lolol.
Brutus loves the cows and they love him back. He's actually teaching them how to play. He's adding happiness to everyone. He's very special, I think.
Brutus playing with the cows was my morning's highlight.
Brutus playing with the cows was so.cute. And congratulations KEN 🎉🎉🎉
Brutus is such a docile lovable clown act all in one pup LOLOL. Love the new chicken coup's for sure and they look so awesome. You have really perfected them throughout the years GREAT JOB!!! God is Blessing you ALL.
Brutus with the cows is the cutest thing I've ever seen 🥰
It was good to see Ken on this video. The meat bird "tractors" will serve you well. You have a very efficient design. We look forward to seeing you build your concrete pads. We can only imagine what your meat birds taste like. We enjoy your RUclips channel. 👍🏻
The way Bruno plays with the cows is pretty amazing. He's quite the Cow Boy. 😊
Nice play on words, Faith.
the cows and the dog so cute to see them play😁😁😁😂🥰
Morning Gina and Al ! Hope you both have a great day ! And Gina please dont think you need to be perfect for us people on U-Tube ! That little mess in the shop is nothing, It's ok to have messes ! In fact it's normal 😍
Brutus: it's not the old tooth coming out, it's the new tooth coming in. He needs a rubber bone toy to massage the gums where the new tooth is breaking out.
Cardboard is free, actually it was paid for when the contents were purchased, so with Brutus chewing, it gets used-up providing additional usefulness !
I felt like it would be Ken. I’ll bet he will help pour concrete when needed.
Good morning Lumnah's! Great video with a side of puppy playing with cows. Now that's entertainment! Chicken tractors looking very nice, wish we could raise some here. Glad you are able to get some of Ken's equipment. Seeing him on your videos and some of his, know his equipment is in great shape plus he knows it's going to a good home. Bring on the chicks!
Brutus with the cows is beyond adorable. Friends playing together.
Good Morning! I had a feeling Ken was selling those concrete tools to you guys. Are you still planning on building the big house? Olivia might be out of there in a few more years, and then your harvest house might be a perfect fit for the two of you. I miss seeing your other dogs and cats.
Brutus and the cows love each. Lol
Good morning Al, Gina and Olivia. Chicken tractors coming right along. I like the design you have come up with. Brutus sure likes playing with the cows. They get along so good. Was good you could get some tools from Ken, those will come in very handy for you. Ken, needs to slow a bit. He's a very hard worker. Thank you for sharing.
Gooooooood Morning Gene. Ken sure is. I hope I have his energy when I’m his age
Good morning Gene!🌄😊
@@LumnahAcres Yes sir,
@@forrestgump9576 Good morning Forrest.
Nicely said, Gene - Good morning!
Nice work on the chicken tractors. So good to see Ken on the homestead again!
I love seeing Brutus play with the cows. This is our 4th year raising meat birds. Lost of work but it’s worth it.
Morning, from Louisiana. Brutis sure loves his cow. ❤❤❤❤
Good morning Al, Gina, Olivia and all the Lumnah friends and extended family. Good morning Sam
Good morning, Robert! 😊
Cattle need Cowbells for Brutus to ring !
I think that Shop as set you free to do more work. I love it!!!
I think of all the projects you've done already in it, man it's great for you. Now I understand, even better, why my Dad enjoyed his so much.
The Homestead is growing much and so fast...it's a joy to watch!!!!
Thanks for sharing your journey with us....God bless.
GOOOD MORNING FROM AZ. Brutus needs his oun RUclips channel. I could watch him all day. ⚔️🧡
So much joy in watching Brutus with your cows. More anytime.
Love seeing Brutus play. He is such a happy go lucky dog. He’s getting so big.
Set those chicken tractors on old tires to keep off the ground when storing 😊
Great to see Ken again, he always cheers me up.
Nice chicken mobile homes. I like your model of putting them where the cows have been, which helps break up/distruibute the manure. Seems to be a very efficient pasture management. There is a lot more science that goes into it all than I had imagined. As soon as you showed the burgandy truck pull up I knew it was Ken.
You must be a very wealthy man to work no job and be able to afford all the stuff you buy. God bless you.
None of anyone's business, but consideration relates that very little is spent buying foods or shopping for manufactured stuff !
And what business is that of yours, altho consider that little is spent buying foods or buying manufactured products and that is the Lumnah's system, buy to grow and to raise instead of having corporations supply !
speculation is that RUclips (and various sponsors) is his full-time job and that's what pays the bills. The information is out on the internet if you care to look it up.
It made my day when I saw Brutus playing with the cows.❤
The chicken tractors are really nice. I think the beige color of the corrugated roofing looks great. It blends with the wood. Great job.
looks like the circular saw shot sawdust into the wall socket. might want to ckeck.
ALL I CAN SAY IS CHOO CHOO TO KEN LOVE THAT MODEL RAILROAD SET
Those are very nice !! You are always thinking !! I LOVE YOU ALL !!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Morning Al & Gina, boy are you two smart to get those chicken tractors done ahead of receiving the chickens. Also smart idea of getting the concrete tools from Ken, and you already know they work. That will save lot of time not having to work on them before using them. Brutus is so funny playing with the jersey's and chewing on the cardboard boxes. Planning ahead always pays off. Raising chickens is a lot of fun, each one has their own personality too.
I saw that concrete tool on Ken's channel a couple of days ago!
That's a why farmers become "horse traders".
I like your trick with the "V" groove on the hardware cloth.
Al, you remind me of Norm from New Yankee Workshop.
Love watching Brutus get attached to his family.
True!!!
I've never seen a more playful livestock guardian dog! I think he might do great, provided he becomes more nocturnal and learns how to brush Highlands when you grow the herd!!
Al, you really should have a large measuring in feet painted on the floor...just saying
I knew it was Ken!
Good morning Lumnah Acres and friends!
Good morning! Seeing dog/cow morning kisses brought a smile to my face, amazing how they get along!
Gooooooood Morning Mark. It sure is crazy how much they like each other.
Nice chicken Tractors . Good to see Ken again . Hope you enjoy the equipment .Seeya
When cutting nylon tarps or webbing or rope use a hot knife blade. These blades are available to fit a soldering iron or a wood burning tool. The heat melts the threads so that they won’t ravel. It is the same principle as burning holes in weed cloth with a torch but with much more precision.
Have you seen the chicken tractors they are making from utilizing old trampoline frames?
It was good to see Ken, I watch his videos.
Looking good.
Good morning Al, Gina, and Miss Olivia. Love the chicken tractors. Brutus is getting so big.❤😊 Good deal you got to get cement equipment from Ken. Hes looking well. HI Ken nice to see you.😊
Good Morning Lumnah Acres family! I am stoked- my onions are almost a foot high and my potatoes just came up! I also found if you use epson salt when you plant tomatoes is good too. I love to share ideas.Greetings from Perth Ontario Canada! Have a great Thursday!!
Well that explains why Ken kept on saying perfect on his last video and Brutus and cookie was having a blast
Good morning Al & Gina!
I can't tell you how much it warmed my heart to watch Brutus with Miles and George! He's going to be such a great protector for your livestock. It's funny, when you/ I imagine a LGD, you picture a fierce animal (which they can be, of course) but it's actually their immense love for their herd that makes them so protective of them. Looks like you've got a superstar in Brutus. Can't wait to see how much he's grown on his next vet visit. How old is he, again? He's huge!
Good morning, Brutus wants the cows to play with him it's so cute ❤
With your chicken tractors.....I would put another 2 by 4 or even 2 by 1 vertically on the bottom as well, as it will make it really, really strong then. When you're not using them I would buy cheap tarpaulin covers for them, they will last years and years then. Great video 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Morning from Siesta Key Florida
Oh my gosh! Brutus with the cows is so adorable!!!!
21:07 Excellent subtle Product Placement
I knew it was Ken b4 he drove up.

Good to see you Ken 😁👍🏻
Good to see Ken again, hope you showed him around at what you have done.
Good Morning from East Tennessee! Brutus, the cow whisperer and shredder of boxes. I like seeing him play with the cows.
I knew it! I knew it was going to be Ken that was coming over! I saw him load up some concrete equipment in one of his most recent videos! This is AWESOME!
Goooood morning Lumnah family and friends!🌄😊 wish we would have used your plan and materials for our chicken tractors. Even with splitting 2x4's for framing, the tractors are heavy! Next time...
Good morning, Forrest!
Gooooooood Morning Forrest. Yea they can get heavy fast
Good morning Forrest

Brutus is awesome!
Brutus has gotten so BIG. He’s a beautiful boy.
