I hope you guys enjoyed hangin' out with me on this video! It was a bit of a longer one, but there's a lot goin' on around here, know what I'm sayin'?! Hope everyone's having a beautiful spring season...summer's right around the corner! Cheers friends!😘 P.S. Soap recipe is in the video description!
It's great to see what's happening in your neck of the woods. I have noticed that your leaves are out a lot sooner than ours here in Atlin BC. We have been quite cold this spring.
What!!! Almost midnight here in steaming hot FL. Just settled into bed and set my alarm clock for 0600 as I play pickleball at 0730 on Saturday mornings, and I have a notice that you posted a video. Well, I have my priorities... looks like I'm going to have a late night watching your video!!! Love everything about you, your family and the homestead. I'm living my dream through your eyes. You are a very wise woman with one heck of a personality! Hello to the family and thank you for many reasons.
I love the longer video. I watch every second of them SO well done. You had about 20k subscribers when i started watching. I love seeing how the channel has grown. Well deserved. Great creative content editing ect.
I’ve always been a small time gardener. For some reason, I never considered growing potatoes until last year. I also realized that everything I’ve grown, I’ve been able to virtually see the fruit as it blossomed and set. (tomatoes, berries, peppers…etc) To my surprise, as I pulled out my potatoes, I felt like I was opening a birthday present. I had no idea if there zero in the ground or a bonanza. I was thrilled, absolutely shocked, that I grew so many potatoes. The thrill was so much that I have only planted potatoes this year, even Purple Majesty! Anyway, I’m writing to say I appreciate how you share the joys and sorrows of gardening. You have inspired many people, including me!
First of all, I love the longer videos and I'm so sorry about your migraine. They are the pits! Can't tell you how much I enjoy you and the mixture of seriousness and silliness. Adore Sara and the cutest tail wagging. Your videos are the best and I wish you could post more often. Thank you for sharing your family and your life with your viewers. No hate, just love for all you do!
It was fun to be back watching your videos. I was in Texas visiting my 85 year old mother and put away my phone to enjoy her. It was an amazing 14 days.
😢 miss my mom making blankets use watch her all the time seeing u sit on couch doin that made me cry she ended up passing away 2mths ago its been hardest thing in life
Oh my goodness, Lulu, I'm so very sorry. I know it doesn't seem like it but time is the best healer. I lost my Momma 24 years ago and I miss her just as much but I can smile at times now when I think about her. One day at a time. Sending hugs and prayers to you from Arkansas. 🙏🏻🌺🙏🏻🌺🙏🏻🌺
Tina, I used to have debilitating migraines that used to make me physically sick in my stomach. I used to be a teacher at a preschool when one came on. A father was dropping his child off and he took one look at me and he saw my flour white face. He said, Ms. Janet, are you okay? I said not really. I told him I had a migraine. He told me to take my Advil with a caffeine drink and go to a dark room. I did and 20 to 30 minutes later, my headache was gone. I love the tile in your pantry. When it gets done, you will be able to stock up with your canning from your garden. I know how excited you must be. Joe has done a wonderful job, as always.
A longer video whoohoo 🎉 Sarah has gotten so big and her tail is so cute while drinking her bottle and I can say qith hanging out with ya on a Saturday night I learned how to make soap & microgreens and Tina I also get migraines I take a prescription medication that works well just put it under my tongue and it works quickly thank goodness nothing worse then a migraine & tons of stuff to get done ❤
🥳The longer the better! What a wonderful way to start my day thank you for sharing your beautiful family , life and faith with us ! God Bless you All❤✝️🙏🏻‼️❤

Awwww, sorry about your migraine, Tina. Love that you were real about it. I love the tram that you and Joe are. My husband and I do a pretty good job at conquering tasks together, too! Team work makes the dream work! Glad you got your sunshine and "me" time! Xo great vlog, as usual.😘
Tina, there is not one thing I would change on how you do your videos, I so enjoy absolutely everything. You are so talented as are Joe and Parker. Love the new pantry and your going to love that. Everything is so coming together. Tina you are one light in this dark world with all your faces and spunky ways, like I have said so glad I found your channel, I can never wait till your next episode. Make sure Joe knows he did a great job on the pantry it's BEAUTIFUL! Stay safe have a productive yet relaxing summer. God bless you all with safety and his protection always.
Hi Tina. The dark contrast on the pantry shelves really makes them pop. Maybe Joe’s slight error in sealing the window wall was a blessing in disguise. Enjoyed the video. Thanks for taking us along! Love you guys!
A few minutes before you said "I'm an old soul" I was thinking that exact thing when I saw you knitting. The pantry looks amazing and so does Joe when he does pull-ups!
I’m glad you didn’t paint the window wall, I think it would of been too dark. The pantry looks so good! I love it!🥰Your flowers are so pretty ❤️Parker is getting so tall! Like I’ve said before, I just love your videos ❤️❤️❤️Have a great weekend 🌸
You just got to love that guy named Joe! The strong and silent type who does beautiful work! Parker is growing and a tremendous help to the family. You too Tina, also a hard worker. Learning so much from your channel. Thank you!
Tina, I could just watch y’all all day. Thank you so much for this long video. It was so refreshing and relaxing to just sit back from here in, MS. Love some, Watson Fam! ❤❤❤
For your cucumbers- vining plants raised bed- put two T-posts in- wire up a cattle or hog panel to it and grow those vining plants up instead of out on your fence or ground. It works great.
Hey Tina, no video you make could ever be too long, I could watch a video from you for hours and hours. So glad the bird survived. Joe, you did such an amazing job on the pantry. It’s very beautiful. Beautiful goats milk soap. ❤️
Joe has totally outdone himself on the pantry! It looks amazing! Planted your garden, saved a bird, made home made soap AND prepped firewood for a year! Tina you make me tired just watching you but I am so happy for your accomplishments in such a short time! You and Joe ROCK! So does Parker! Let the summer fun begin💖
I know you are so proud of the beautiful pantry Joe built you. He did a terrific job!! He is so smart. Y’all worked so hard on the wood splitting. I know you were exhausted.
Loved this video. Joe should have no problem showing off his muscles with all that manual labor he does!! A whole day to yourself Tina! How awesome. I don’t have that opportunities but love when I do. I didn’t know you crocheted! It is so relaxing. Y’all are always so busy
That sausage gravy looked amazing! Love your hoodie too. The pantry looks awesome Joe is a wonderful husband and dad! We Love watching you and your beautiful family. Looking forward to the next video! Take care and be blessed ❤
Pallets work really well for elevating wood piles off the ground. It helps with drying as well as just keeping away from moisture. A lot of businesses will give them away for free. When they eventually rot away, you can just use them as more wood stove fuel!
Aah, the joy of a well-stocked woodshed!!! Love those round glass growing bottles - in medieval times bottles like these were stoppered and had water in them to use as magnifying glasses. Sigh, looking forward to filling the pantry, Joe has done such a wonderful job, again.
It's ALWAYS a Fun, Happy time hanging out with the Watson Fam!! Tina, you just make the BESTEST videos on RUclips, and I'm so serious about that. You always have every element anyone could ever enjoy in your videos, especially ALL the educational instruction, that's no joke either, I'm always learning New and pretty simple things on your channel and I Love it, so THANK you so much for sharing your wisdom and of course, DE-LISH food recipes too! I bet your soap is gonna feel AND smell so Wonderful!! Pantry is looking fantabulous of course!! Joe's "The Man" for SURE. He can build and fix anything it seems. He's the " Joe of all trades". 😁 The tile is also absolutely Beautiful. You're seriously "The Homesteading Animal whisperer/healer", and I laughed so much at the text " yes, that is a feather in my mouth". I never even saw it, I had to rewind it"!! 😂 OmGahh , You're just HILARIOUS. Y'allHave a beautiful, blessed weekend, and I'm already looking forward to your next video!! God bless and I'm also looking forward to enjoying our Alaskan Summer! 🙌🌻🌷🇺🇸✝️🩷
So sorry about your migraine, hide from light and sound Tina. You saved that bird I prayed it would live, just don't like hurt or pain in anything! Your videos are my vacations,I hate when the quit! You out there bt yourself was interesting, you need you time but I wished I could have sat and enjoyed a cup of coffee with you lol, I did ! Joe, my hero, pantry just knocked it out of the park again your all so talented and project minded. This growing season has been unusual even in Alaska, a late start for sure. And you have a spoiled brat on your hands! That sheep is.a brat, for sure thank you for sharing your beautiful life
After all that wood cutting and stacking yes it is a good time for coco or a hot cup of coffee it's really looking very nice Tina and Joe thanks for the video God bless you and your family Parker is really grow growing into a hard working young man
I loved absolutely everything about your video. I think it looks real pretty where you cleaned up all the brush around the sheep pen. I know that's really hard work because we have 4 acres. If you didn't do anything but keeping your property maintained is a big job. You You guys do so much more. It makes us happy watching your videos. I pray blessings on your family. ❤
This was a great video, covering so many things that were interesting to me, but I enjoy everything that you and your family does on the homestead. I really enjoy watching Sarah get so excited about her bottle, and then the nursing of the sweet little bird back to health. We had that happen with a hummingbird, and it was such a good feeling to finally see him/her fly off after getting breath back. Your homestead life in Alaska is so exciting to me, since I’ve been to that beautiful state many times, and seen the awesomeness of the mountains and all that Alaska has to offer, especially with lots of hard work. Keep working hard and fulfilling your dream of a beautiful homestead in Alaska. ❤️❤️❤️
Enjoying my last few weeks in Alaska. Been living here this time for 22 years. I’m sad but Lord willing, I will be back! I have everything in storage so that will for sure bring me back! Lol. Once Alaska gets in your heart, it’s hard to let go. ❤️🙏
Tina, I live in Sitka, and it is basically the same problem with the soil being too cold. If I want to start before June 1st (which of course I usually do), I will try to get the beds ready with compost and pulling any weeds the end of April, then I will lay that black weed-stop covering on top of the soil. This does two things: It keeps the weeds from coming back, and it helps to warm the soil when the sun shines on it. This way, the soil is fairly warm by May 1st and I can take the black cover off and plant my seeds and potatoes. I then place old windows (from a torn down house) on the top of the raised beds. This also protects the plants at night and it can get fairly hot under them during the day. This last trick was one my mother said they used on their farm in Northern Minnesota which also has a 1st of June frost free date. As we know, that is just too late to get much of a crop in our short growing season. Northern gardens can and do produce a lot because of the long sunlight. So carry on. You'll learn more and more tips from other gardeners in your area as time goes by. I use those wire cages for things like potatoes (grown in the raised beds) and tomatoes (which I have to grow in the hothouse.) That keeps them from falling over and getting tangled. The cages are cheap and reusable and stack nicely so you can put them away each fall for next year. I was thinking maybe your squash could use them. I love goats milk soap. I don't just use it to wash my skin, but I wash my hair with it, too. I love how my hair feels after using it. I am completely over using shampoos with all those added chemicals in them!
I wanted to let you know I accidentally tripped over your daughter's channel. She's adorable and she has some cute mannerisms that are just like her mother's. I don't know if she's aware but I found it delightful! ♥♥♥
Loved the vlog & Tina you always do an awesome editing! It brought back so many memories of time spent with my Grandma- she had a huge wash tub for making soap. When a steer was butchered, soap making followed soon after. We wore neck scarves when she was pouring lye. Blessed Memories! Thanks Tina. 💜👋🏻
Hi Tina and Joe another great video. I'm so sorry you had a migraine I suffer them monthly and they are no joke and very unpleasant to get. Your pantry looks wonderful and I always learn so much from you. The sprouts are something I'm going to try thank you. Love your homestead God bless you all
I have watched this video twice already. This is one of my favorites so far. Although, many of your videos are my favorites. Can’t have too many favs, right!
Oh my heart. That sweet bird. I love that he flew away!! I once nursed a seagull, when we lived on the beach. He also survived. I live for that stuff.❤ Your raised beds. Goals for next Spring. This year we've been busy putting in French drain system around the pool....long project, as we've gotten endless rain this Spring.
Love watching the squirrel and the birds great job filming 🎉And those soaps are beautiful ❤❤and just love love the ending of your videos make me laugh every time!! Ty ty😂
Love the ambiance that comes with an oil lamp. And putting in that window in the pantry was a “must.” Makes me smile to see Sarah so big and healthy.😍 All because of you, Tina. Just pat yourself on the back.
I love the long videos, it's like a movie that I enjoy while eating breakfast or just having coffee. Thanks for sharing your homestead with us Tina... Still love the out-takes at the end the best! Asher at the end was awesome, he just wanted to help end the video Ma!!! lol
Tina, so glad you went to bed!!!! Filming can wait❤ Migraines are nothing to fool with. I had a few when I was 19, 20 yrs. old (72 now) I could barely stand and vomited my guts out😮 So glad you took care of yourself. Your pantry looks great!!! Joe, wonderful job as allways🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hi Tina, I was so delighted when I saw you crocheting. I am a big knitter and also crochet (as you can probably tell from my youtube channel name). The bird sanctuary near me says that if you hang CDs on the inside of your window you won't have birds hitting the window. I have tried it and can say that it really works. Best wishes!
I’ve actually had several people suggest things like this, or putting stickers on our windows but to be honest, I can’t stomach the thought of dangling CD’s from my cabin or stickers on my window!😬 Just being honest, I think it would look tacky. But that’s just me.😊
So happy for you ❤ Living the dream there... It took me two years to adjust to planting cycles and learning to tweak based on year. Almanac tends to help for planning.🌸
Really enjoyed this. Garden and crocheting and animals. Then soap making . Girl you was gettin it lol. So glad the little bird made it. Be blessed Warson family.
❤ we love this video Tina. After a stressful week,it's so nice to relax and enjoy the Watson Family. So much beauty in this video. Much love, Alan&Maria

Sarah’s little tale when she’s eating is everything 🤗❤️
Oh thank you so much! Gardening has its highs and lows right? We learn by doing and we learn from each other.😊
I am so excited to sit and watch this I am exhausted from my weeks work and need some good viewing

I so enjoyed this video Tina,so much going on around the homestead and I love it. You are living my dream, can't wait until next video.Take care!❤️
I'm so glad! Thanks for watching!❤️
Thank you so much Debbie! It is hard work. We enjoy making our home & property look nice.😊
Thanks again for this wonderful family video! Your videos make me happy! God bless!
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching.😊
Thank you so much Carolyn!
Love watching you cooking it looks so delicious.
Enjoying my last few weeks in Alaska. Been living here this time for 22 years. I’m sad but Lord willing, I will be back! I have everything in storage so that will for sure bring me back! Lol. Once Alaska gets in your heart, it’s hard to let go. ❤️🙏
So true!❤️
❤
Absolutely loved this episode and it’s all coming together nicely now. You guys make such a great team and i loved every second of it x
Thank you. ☺️
Wow Tina, you are on it! I love watching your videos, I am learning so much from you.
Fantastic ideas. Thank you so much!😊
Love watching your videos. You have an amazing relationship.
Thank you.❤️❤️
I wanted to let you know I accidentally tripped over your daughter's channel. She's adorable and she has some cute mannerisms that are just like her mother's. I don't know if she's aware but I found it delightful! ♥♥♥
Aw thank you so much!❤️❤️
Love the natural wood look in that beautiful pantry! And that floor is gorgeous. I’m definitely looking into mason jar sprouts after your video.
Thank you so much! That is so awesome!😊
Here in Australia 🇦🇺 it's first day of winter 1st June so watching cuddling with my little dog nice and cosy.

Oh my heart. That sweet bird. I love that he flew away!! I once nursed a seagull, when we lived on the beach. He also survived. I live for that stuff.❤
Your raised beds.
Goals for next Spring. This year we've been busy putting in French drain system around the pool....long project, as we've gotten endless rain this Spring.

So happy to see you saved that bird I do the same. We live in a log home with big glass windows.
Hate it when they hit.
Like everything else you and Joe do, the pantry is so professional looking. I’m very envious. Enjoy!😍🇨🇦
Thank you!!❤️
Love the ambiance that comes with an oil lamp. And putting in that window in the pantry was a “must.” Makes me smile to see Sarah so big and healthy.😍 All because of you, Tina. Just pat yourself on the back.
Aw thank you Julia.❤️❤️
I love the long videos, it's like a movie that I enjoy while eating breakfast or just having coffee. Thanks for sharing your homestead with us Tina... Still love the out-takes at the end the best! Asher at the end was awesome, he just wanted to help end the video Ma!!! lol
Glad you like them! Yeah Asher, lil stinker! So funny tho with his little head popping into the frame like that!🤣
Love the Pantry, Glad the bird was okay, ❤️
Tina, so glad you went to bed!!!! Filming can wait❤ Migraines are nothing to fool with. I had a few when I was 19, 20 yrs. old (72 now) I could barely stand and vomited my guts out😮 So glad you took care of yourself. Your pantry looks great!!! Joe, wonderful job as allways🎉🎉🎉🎉
Oh wow! That sounds horrible Judy. They have made me nauseous before. It’s debilitating, they really are!❤️❤️
Another awesome Watson video! Love seeing Parker working with and learning from his Dad! Valuable life skills. You all just rock it! Hugs from Iowa!
Thanks so much! I used to live in Iowa when I was about 8-9 yrs old! Indianola!😊
Lived in Des Moines and went to Drake undergrad and grad school. I know Indianola well! Love in NE Iowa now. Hugs
But that’s just me.😊
So happy for you ❤
Living the dream there...
I love the darker shelves in the pantry. Looks great
Thank you, me too!
❤ we love this video Tina. After a stressful week,it's so nice to relax and enjoy the Watson Family. So much beauty in this video. Much love, Alan&Maria
So glad Alan & Maria. Thank you. Hope you guys have a wonderful week!🫶🏻
I love everything about this. I enjoy seeing your family thrive. After watching this, you gave me the courage to try soap-making myself!
You can do it!🫶🏻
Tina, I enjoy the intro and I love it when Parker throws the snow up in the air as the dogs look on. Love hangin out with you guys.
