I made those but I printed out a sheet to scale and drilled the holes worked great
I made a couple of these for myself a few years back and still use them. However, I didn't do the chamfer cut like you did and wished I'd thought of that. Thanks for sharing
Glad you added the" everybody can do way"..lol thanks look great
Daveyboy I'm glad you liked it. Thank you for watching
4" x 8" is the perfect size as they stack with the old Midway blocks they discontinued a decade ago. I have been making mine out of scrap oak, but I have some scrap cedar I need to do something with...
Mine are out of cedar!
Good vid bud, they turned out nice as hell
Bearded Seabee82 thanks man.. I was expecting a comment about my pink saw.. lol.
Jason Williams actually it was going to be " sure look nice in them levi's but not near as sexy in skinny jeans using the saw" but i got distracted by cnc mill...
Coolness, time for me to buy some power tools. Hoping to convert garage into workshop this summer.
AOK Foraging and Adventures it's a great hobby. Thank you for watching
I just made one 7in x 3in x 2 1/2 for 20 rounds of 25-06 to 30-06 holder out of wallnut from old pallet wood to ship granite on. It was mad out of wallnut cross braces with oak runners for axe handles. I've even found maple pallet wood nice wood after I planned it was so nice wood. Recycle ♻️ wood 🪵 is already cut down. Wood that was given for fire wood in to nice product. Not every thing doesn't have to be new.
very cool
You can make a dill bit stop from copper tubing and a screw
I used timber reloading trays for many years! I use 2 sizes to cover all my calibers. When spraying lube, the oil spray soakes up and the trays are always fresh looking. Plastic is horrible! Use 1" timber to drill right through, then glue a 1/2 inch base. That way the holes are always flat at the bottom! I let the oil from lube spray to soak up the surface and dont need polyurethane. Save money!
Nice DIY video 👍👍
DifferingLikes thank you. Im.glad you like it. Have a great day

Plumpy E thanks brotha. I hope you enjoy them
Nice video Jason. I have a mill and most of the woodworking tools, might try making one of those out of a scrap piece of 1.5" hdpe sheet I have stashed in the junk pile. Jim
Skip Tracer I am so jealous!!! I have been working on my wife to let me bring a mill and small tool room style lathe home..
I inherited my stuff from my Dad, I'd rather still have him Buddy
Covid-19 lockdown here in New Zealand... Got lots of to do's im planing and this is one but I only have a hand drill for the holes so see how vertical I can get it... Might make a jig of some kind...
Good job!
Richard Tibbetts thank you. Have a great day
I love to work with wood!
Richard Tibbetts me too.. My wife is planning our next project. She thinks I can build new kitchen cabinets.
Jason Williams All you have to do is plan them out..I love woodworking. .I have my own shop..
Haha I always save my trays cuz you don't get them all the time. I like the idea
Gaia's Pupil that is so true. These are kinda fun to build and look good in the reloading room
Jason Williams And I'm a wood worker, should have thought about that long ago lolol
What sealing coat did you say you used
Or for $5 you can get one on Amazon with a lid that holds 100 rounds and get it in a day
is there a place we can get that template?
Use a push stick for the love of God, stumpy. Lol
Why not lay out the pattern on a piece of sheet metal to make a template, drill pilot holes in it then you can use that to make any number of loading blocks for any size cases.
woodprix has very useful plans with all details I need
The last dimension on your x direction is wrong. Should be 7.375
Yup your right.. darn fat fingers!! Thanks for pointing that out. I can email you the print if youd like
