The name audi actually comes from the guy who founded the company, his name was August Horch. horch is another word for hör (hear) and the Imperative of hören (hearing) in latin is audi. Btw before you ask, horch/hör is an Imperative too, like hear is the Imperative of hearing

The Peugot logo has the same characteristics as the statue as it is half man, half lion. Also, the place where it was dicovered and displayed was only 300 miles away in Germany. It is quite an interesting theory.

Tesla's logo is quite cool. It represents the cross section of an electric motor, and if you open both falcon wing doors on a Model X and view it from the front, it looks like the Tesla logo.

@Matt Watson, TOYOTA Symbol actually Symbolises "Thread & Needle". They started as a Loom Manufacturing Company & still makes good Textile Sewing Machine's that are impressive.

The diagonal slash on Volvos are because in the first cars it was a bar that was diagonal to support the logo and find the centre of the grille 👍 although not officially part of the logo , it is still a Volvo design
Here's a nerdy fun fact: the BMW logo also looks like the center of gravity symbol, which is appropriate considering we're talking about pretty sporty over-engineered cars
