Yes, especially when you are living in in Europe and America where Superchargers are the most accessible for Tesla users. Free charging for life is saving your money about thousand dollars/year especially for those who love tourings or going overseas which is very convenient. Sadly, on 2017 onward, Tesla removed that because they feel they dont get income from using their "fuel" service which is very profitable if you count all that cars by that year, you actually get profit about millions of dollars just for Refuel, not including services and other things.
When you purchase a Telsa, the cost of the "Free" electricity is included in the price of the car. Not to mention cost of the supercharger stations. Why would they sell a car with a set profit and risk you using 10 grand in electricity. How could Elon ever afford his hair club for men appointments? Its just a sales gimmick, like 0 percent financing...
The issue with the golf 4 and "GTI" was that it almost became a trim level rather than a spec. They (often at the dealership) stuck the GTI badge on most of the range. Most of the earlier diesel Matt refers to were badged as GT TDI though I believe.
The Tesla thing isn't even about the car just charging which for the majority of users who charge at home for time saving and convenience would probably be worth less than £50 a year, so over 20 years maybe about £1k. Now considering the age and likelihood of parts needing replacing on older models and lack of features such as AP 2 and FSD its not really a downside to getting the newer model!
I actually really like the F10 M5, it looks the best out of all M5s, second only to the E34, plus goodbye went the f*** SMG and in came a nice DCT. There were only 3 years that Mustang sold better - 65, 66 and 67 .... and the new models are selling like 100 k Mustangs per year. Car had front disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, overhead camshaft (in 2.3) -- and the front suspension is now being used for hot rods to improve steering. Despite the crisis look and downsizing it was a good car. In the rear they've also replaced leaf springs with coil springs and 4link like suspension.

I had myself a VW Golf GTI III in 1996 while living in Barcelona, then after in Mallorca, I always drove as an old lady but I just had a nice car, that was the point to me. And a GTI V in 2008, this one already living by Amsterdam. The V was a big step but I don't think I made less than 10 seconds 0 to 100 km/h with none of them and from the several times I crossed Germany with the GTI V only once around Munich I pushed up to 200 km/h for a few seconds, rest of times up to 160 was more than enough. Getting back home to end up back to my misses was never motiviting me to rush
The move from the BMW M5 E60 to the F10 was actually a very good thing. When compared to the E60, the F10 was - Safer (structure) - Better, more reliable engine - More powerful engine - More economical engine - Superior gearbox - Faster acceleration Cars are not all about naturally aspirated sounds, which was the only good thing about the E60 to be honest.

Tesla is like the emperors new clothes. When will someone finally say the cars are soulless and the build quality is appalling? Buy hybrid or electric cars from established car makers and not from a PR driven narcissist from Silicon Valley.
The v10 M5 (as the v8 m3) became an holy the day after it got discontinued. Provining once again that design is secundary, what makes a car a great car is other stuff. Lol Tesla has recently changed their policy regarding the cars out there with free SC. Apparently, the pre-2017 cars with free SC will NOT transfer to a new owner even if sold in a private sale.
Having owned a 2015 981 Boxster and my Current 718 Boxster I disagreed. The 718 is faster, more responsive and handled tighter. Did I say faster? The only and I say ONLY thing that was better in the 981 was sound. Thats it
The way he pronounced Toyots Celica was the first time I've ever heard someone call it like that. I really hope thats not how it's actually pronounced.
When he first said it I didn't understand what type of car he was mentioning. Then I saw it printed on the screen and it blew my mind. I also have never heard anyone pronounce Celica the way he did and he did it multiple times. My first car was an 87 Celica GTS. I looked through the comments just to see what I assumed would be a ton of people commenting on it but I didn't find many comments on it at all.
Completely disagree with the EP3 vs FN2 argument. Yes, the EP3 could be more fun around a track... But the FN2 is a comfortable (ish!) daily driver with a very good chassis. My FN2 (LSD upgraded) sticks like glue on even the wettest of roads and has never once made me question it's suspension setup. IMO (which may be different to yours!) the FN2 looks far better than the EP3 and the interior is a much more modern place to be.

Sure it had a "pinto" 2.3 which was quite a nice engine -- in it's European variant (1.3 1.6 (1.8) and mainly 2.0 - powered such cars as Cortina/Taunus, Capri, RS Escort Mk1 & Mk2, Transit, Granada (also TVR Tasmin) -> next the Sierra and Scorpio-> including a base for the 2.0 Cosworth Turbo engine (1985) or the Mk2 Escort Xpack with 145 HP (that is more than 5.0 Mustang from mid 70s)
And it sold well
1972 they've made 126 thousand Mustangs
1973 they've made 134 thousand
in 1974 Mustang II sold in 386 thousand cars !!
I clicked on this video faster than a Veyron doing a quarter mile.
Yes how gracious of Porsche bringing back the 6 cylinder on cars that are double the base price of the Boxer/ Cayman whilst making them very difficult to buy at the same time.
How about 10 CURRENT models that are worse than their predecessors. But no, Mat's firmly in the manufacturer's pockets. He won't bite the hand that feeds (pays) him. It makes his car-buying advice ultimately untrustworthy.

The mk5 golf was also prone to have rusty wheel arches.

E60 M5 with a manual is god. Assuming you have the money to keep the thing in fine fettle, which yearly is probably about 25 percent of the total value of the car these days lol
my first car was an ep3. it was an absolute blast
For memory, the mx5 nb had that double reinforcement in countries that use salt on their roads. I don’t think this was the case in Oz, but I’m not sure.
Either way, the mx5 nb was an amazing driver’s car 😍
I love the F10 M5😂🥵🥵
Me too
I rather listen to pure NA V10. Still can't forget about it.

So true about the civic
It started to look like an egg

Wait, you missed one already.
It's Toyota Supra
Nah it improved
The GR Supra is actually improved
When compared to the E60, the F10 was
- Safer (structure)
- Better, more reliable engine
- More powerful engine
- More economical engine
- Superior gearbox
- Faster acceleration
Cars are not all about naturally aspirated sounds, which was the only good thing about the E60 to be honest.
The new Celica is my favorite thanks to the fact that it has more after market appeal than it's rally predacessor.
Bmw supra
Exactly.
My family owns a Diesel Golf IV which was always poorly treated, but it still works fine at 350.000km driven and has a consumption at around 5L/100km.

Okay the Mustang II isn't really any fault of Ford. They had to do it, they had no choice. If they didn't make the Mustang II, the Mustang as a whole would probably not exist today.
Mitsubishi screwed up the eclipse by making it a crossover
Would be interested to see a full review of an 8 year old Tesla, to see how it's battery etc performs now.

Tesla is like the emperors new clothes. When will someone finally say the cars are soulless and the build quality is appalling? Buy hybrid or electric cars from established car makers and not from a PR driven narcissist from Silicon Valley.

@@johngeorge1633 ah I see, yeah I'm sure it's cause of his accent and stuff
The way Matt says it is the original Japanese pronunciation but it can be pronounced either way. Just watch the tv adverts for the car
