@@toninocars The GR Yaris is a great car and captures some of the spirit, but unfortunately it's nowhere near as raw or powerful as the old Evos. All models were just a small mod away from 400hp plus.

The VW dont have a V6, they have aVR6. This is a big different. Only the germans built this anwesome Engine. And its Sounds much better than a V6 Engine😌

This is exactly why I bought my manual M140i as could see that big engined cars were disappearing, especially the manual ones. Absolutely love it, the sound of the straight six, rear wheel drive and the manual box all make for a great driving experience.
Can’t agree more. I have an f20 m135i and the sound and power for the money just can’t be beaten. I’d say it’s a future classic but with the inevitable ban on any petrol cars (new and 2nd hand eventually) I’d savour it while you still can.
Of course, the Aventador, 812, T50, Suzuki Jimny, Toyota GR Yaris (maybe)... Even the Taycan could become the EV hero of this era, after the Tesla S Performance / P100D.
7:40 the Evo 8 ended production in 2004/2005 evo 9 was from 2005 until 2008. so the FQ400 evo 8 was 2004 or 2005. The evo 9 was only made up to FQ360 trim.

I remember when we’d all turn our noses up at the auto versions of the performance cars we owned (Supra, anyone?) because they were so much slower to accelerate than a skilled driver operating the clutch and gearbox. Now, try to keep up with a Porsche PDK transmission in a manual version of the same car: good luck!

It’s a beast that V12 diesel, a soccer mom at my daughters school drives around in one. It’s a beautiful sleeper, the giveaway was the big brakes and the small V12 badge
They’re still around, just not in supercars, which is just as well because supercars are getting too fast to enjoy a manual in. Shift sticks are in hot hatches now, which in my opinion, is the ideal car for a manual because they’re not as fast. so weeping goodbye to manual supercars may not be such a bad thing...
The people that buy supercars now though aren't the same, people just want to be seen in them to say they have a supercar, not sure actual driving is really top of their list of priorities.

Some brands still have manual supercars: *Noble (idk the name)* *Porsche (GT3)* *Chevrolet (corvette)* actually the newest one probably not anymore, but the last one still did *Lotus (Evora)* *Honda (civic)* not sure if this counts, maybe it's a hypercar *Aston Martin (Victor)* 840 hp 6 speed manual. Pretty sure this is a one off, a concept type thing, but I would love to see this produced, it's gorgeous inside and out. AND HAS 840 HP IN A MANUAL.
How can you just leave out the Mk4 R32?? The original R32 which had the 3.2 VR6 way back in 2002, and came in a 6spd manual, and with a 2door option unlike the Mk5
Rotary machine like Mazda most of them gone. Even Honda Integra Type R was vanished.. Don't forget the FD2 civic type R. The last Japanese N.A. K20A engine.

Yep, you needed a high stall converter put in. Also they had less gears than the equivalent manual, now its the other way round.

I want to suggest to you why not create a challenge between a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport or a Montero Sport and a VS Toyota Land Cruiser
