- Just finished clinic and there were a lot of skincare mistakes that I was compiling in my head as I went through the busy day. Dr Sugai would it be "bad" in any way to use Vaseline to take off my eye liner?
Vaseline is gentle for delicate skin but also at risk for using too much and clogging up pores around the eyes and leading to Milia/tiny cysts 😬 so I would be careful!
Can I use a retinol around my mouth? I have a deep wrinkle around my laugh line. Is it too late to do anything for this? I'm 52.
Yes you can use around the mouth but would definitely moisturize before and after as this is a sensitive area that is prone to peeling from your retinol. Retinol only works on fine lines and not deep wrinkles but won’t hurt to try it out if your skin can tolerate it!
How long should you typically leave each product on your face before you wash them off????
You don’t wash them off, until you’re washing your face in the evening or morning.
Okay to leave on until you’re ready for a shower or cleanse at the end of the day or to start off your day. Don’t have to time the length of keeping each product on unless it’s a sheet mask or clay mask with exfoliants!
@danielsugaimd What I meant was how long should you leave a cleanser on your my face before you rinse it off & move on to your moisturizing lotion & sunscreen? 1 minute, 2 minutes? How long if you're trying to get the best results?
@@wyntonmohorncleanse your face for 60 seconds is what I’ve heard. Or if you’re double cleansing, then 30 seconds for first cleanse (oil cleanser or cleansing balm) and ~30 seconds for second cleanse.
Can you please tell us about Erythrasma? What to do? How to heal it?
It is due to a special bacteria that likes to infect the skin folds. My fav treatment is topical antibiotics (prescription) to fight this bacteria!

I think he suggests a moisturizer after applying retinol. Then it just takes some patience to see the results. But someone may have a better answer for you! Good luck!

These videos are always interesting to me, because a lot of things come down to YOUR personal preference. For example, the skincare brand Paula's Choice totally disagrees that retinol cannot be used in your am routine & have repeatedly debunked the myth that it can't. They also encourage you to use your Vitamin C with your retinol at night & I do. To each their own I guess.
Please do a skincare routine for extra dry skin.💗

Can you have a video about how to choose hyaluronic essence? The price is a huge difference between different brand. Some absorb quickly but some may feel sticky
Can I do my hyaluronic acid with my moisture at the same time? Or apply them separately?
I started mixing my HA into my moisturizer just to skip a step. But i do think layering it may be more beneficial…

i use night doc roc retinol..day i use roc vit c serum my moisturiser roc..or cerave cream but my melasma more increased alway last sunscreen neutrogena spf 50 irritation always bcoz my face super oily
