How about sidetone? And are they any good for travelling? Thanks for this review. Also, can you charge this without the dock?

Thanks for watching and yes, the EPOS Impact 1061 ANC has truly remarkable voice call quality!
No one knows I'm talking in a crowded bar 🙂

Take a sip of whisky every time the words "Best professional headset" are spoken in this video.

Please compare the Sony XM5 against the Dell. I’ve been using the XM5s for phone calls and it’s been working very well!

      Thanks for watching!
I've always been curious to see how the Sony WH-1000XM5 performs for microphone Voice Call Quality, but I'm anticipating the WH-1000XM6 to be released this year and am trying to save up for those Headphones, if you can wait for that comparison against the Dell WL7024:

In the intro, you introduce the EPOS Impact 1061 as the EPOS to be tested , but later you actually test the 600 - why ??

Hello and thanks for watching, but you need to watch to the very end to get a sense of how the story unfolds ;-)
The first part of the video focuses on how the Dell WL7024 compares against other headsets in the same Class (eg. boomless mic ANC over-the-ear class).
Once it's established that the Dell WL7024 is the Best in it's Class, then the second part of the video, @15:00, focuses on how the WL7024 Voice Call Quality compares against the it's closes rival the Poly Voyager Surround 80 and against the Best Portable Headset the Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex vs the Best Open Office Headset, the EPOS Impact 1061 ANC.
I won't give away too much, but please re-watch the whole video to see how the Dell WL7024 eventually compares to the EPOS Impact 1061 ANC.
      Cheers!

Thank you. I discovered that on watching the whole thing. Thanks for doing the vid- I really wanted to like the Dell more (bc i love Dell products), but I had to accept the fact that EPOS is probably better for all day calls. If you don't mind my saying, something that would improve this review is to reveal any known technical issues with any of the reviewed devices -- I almost went with the Jabra until I saw the known issues reported in forums (good grief).

@@Me_ThatsWho Thanks for watching the whole comparison review!
EPOS Impact 1000 series is top notch for voice call quality, but the Dell WL7024 is still very good for the price and performance for most users.
As for the technical issues, thanks for mentioning. As listed @24:54 for the Dell WL7024 issues specifically, it is a very long list of issues and while none of them are deal breakers, some of them can be annoying, especially if you are not using the Certified Zoom or MS Teams Open Office Certified Platforms.
I would definitely like to go into details on these issues, but that would have been a standalone 10min+ video in itself!
Hopefully Dell addresses these issues and if not, maybe I'll do a dedicated issues video if either Dell does not release a s/w update in 6 months time, or if they do, if the issues still persist.
      Cheers!
