  • In response to Canadian government support for Israel's horrors in Gaza there have been huge marches and many disruptive actions across the country. On November 25 there was the biggest Palestine protest ever in Ottawa and maybe the city's biggest antiwar march. On Talking Foreign Policy an internationalist perspective on Canada's role abroad, organizer Laura Khoury discusses the unprecedented popular mobilization and the Palestinian Youth Movement that has spearheaded many of the protests.

If Palestinians like the first Nations people in Canada would just sit on there reservations that have been located for them and not complain. They would have no problems, the status quo would be would remain.

It is obvious you have never spent any time on a reservation or have spent any time with First Nation people. If you had, you would never repeat such a bigoted statement. Ditch your prejudices and learn the truth.

Start by adding some Free the CBC placards to your demonstration signage. Would you be surprised to discover that a lot of CBC staff would like to be liberated - free to practice jounalism?

@@maddssmithy Liberate the CBC from Zionist occupation. Let editors be free to edit, let reporters be free to give reports they deem appropriate and let talking heads and senior fellows be free to raise topic. Currently the subject of Zionism is off limits at the CBC. Banned! Never to be mentioned..

Building tunnels and rockets require the same skill sets to build schools. What you think the world needs more of? Free Palestine (from HAMAS) !!!

BUT .... Your message does not get to the masses because of who controls the mass media. YOU HAVE TO TARGET THE CBC TO NEUTRALIZE IT. Compel it to adhere to a journalist's code of ethics, to fairly inform, present both sides, and refrain from engaging in campaigns.
If you can deny the pro-Israel side the use of the CBC and elevate CBC to the most respected broadcaster, them your message will get fair exposure.
