    Great video!
I have a shovelhead with all of the original wiring taken out.
It has very minimal wiring on it now, with a 30 amp fuse.
Is that wire a hot/positive wire that could be hooked directly to the positive on the battery? Or maybe with a fuse in between?
I've read many posts on this and it seems to be a common problem for many of us.
Can you help us out with this? if not, can one of your viewers? Thanks again for posting this very clear video.

      Hello.
As it is now, the black wire from the pull start, is going on the relay, and there is a fuse on this relay.
But this crap have melt last week because it's too small. I will try to go back to the BIG relay as you found on every shovel. or something from a tractor.
From the begening than i have this bike, there is some electric problems.
I have install a All balls electric starter, to shake the pistons well, but that ask a lot of amperes, so the others parts are melting.
Now, i whant to built a complete electric wiring as new, to avoid all this craps who are burning. There is too much bits of electric systems who ave been made by four different peoples. It's a mess.
I don't know if that will help you anymore.
      Thak you for your message.

I have a question about that V-Factor Lever Action Solenoid
    If u could reach out.

It is finish. With this pull start, you remove the solenoid. You don't need it anymore. But you shall keep a good relay to activate the electric starter.
Some people keep the kick only and remove all this crap.

Sir, it is designed correctly and to not be parallel. The copper of the contact point will wear much quicker because it will only contact and create a arc on a very small point. By the flat bar being at a angle, it will contact a GREATER area of the copper of the plunger. If the top of the plunger was flat, then your theory about the bar being flat would be correct, BUT then you stand the chance of the 2 pieces arcing together.
    It is designed correctly Sir.

I do agree with you that the wire is flimsy.

LOVE IT! I am a machinist n you read my mind! ryt from the start I thought im going to make one. or I was thinking about using a dewalt drill battery as a power boost. what do you think if this idea?

Thank you. The electric system just need to made contact from one point to an other.
In fact, it is just the ""pulling"" movement than whe need. The pull start is just doing this all together= the pulling action, and the electric contact. My electric starter is not the original. It is an All balls. Very more active than the old one. That shake well the pistons.
