    I think you can rotate the baseplate quick release on the gimbal but you need to remove the 2 screw on the inside of the quick release. These 2 screw make it so that you can slide from one side only. They should have put 4 holes so that you can decide where to slide it from.

    I just found your channel through your peak design bag video. Your reviews are super clear-cut and fun to watch. Keep up the great content, you deserve a lot more subs! 🔥

      Thank you very much it's my pleasure to help people find out about this stuff. The worlds hard enough to navigate without the things we buy for ourselves not being clear cut and obvious to understand. I hope you have a great day and thank you again

    hey so the f38 gimbal plate, you can unscrew the f38 base from the gimbal plate using an L key, and turn the base of the f38 around to have the pin at the back and not the front

    Very cool. Using the Falcam for everything. Handles, mounts all of it. One problem I had was I couldn't get the base plate to work with my Ronin RS2 without using a dremmel on the Falcam plate. So I saw you had a version that you attached a receiver to the factory Ronin plate. That worked. Not as good and a waste of money but I got it to work. Thanks bud.

      Nooo it's not modified at all it's a plate that falcam actually sells for the Ronin. My bad if I didn't make that clear, it was on Amazon the last time I checked it has a falcam plate built into one that fits the Ronin. It wasn't much more money either

      @@SamuelJamesVideos That was clear. I bought it. My issue is that I can't get it on my Rs2 without using a dremmel? Unless I'm doing something wrong. The locking pin on the Ronin won't let me slide the new Falcam plate on. So I did the work around. It's fine.

      @@scottievee7467 I would have to see if to know what you're talking about. That locking pin should have a release on the side of the baseplate but I'm not positive

      Thank you you, and yeah, I still don't know what they were trying to convey to me 😂

    Yep! I've been using a f38 for a half a year or so. No complaints with it. Seems like they have a strap mount for a backpack as well. Though the reviews for it aren't as good as the Peak Design counterpart. Thoughts?

      I've seen the peak design counterpart and I'm sure it's great considering their track record. They make great stuff after all

    Didn’t peak design do this years ago lol?

    • @SamuelJamesVideos
      @SamuelJamesVideos  Год назад

      Peak design doesn't offer options for gimbals or just receivers in general. You have to buy THEIR tripod or strap mount to use it and it's much more expensive like everything else they make.

      @@SamuelJamesVideos Gotta rs3 but the peak design clip fits perfectly into the small rig plate ;). Then to the peak camera strap in seconds. Then to the peak tripod. Can’t go wrong lol. Get the peak dual clip, it goes into any arca style plate as well

    Ulanzi make some great stuff, but their buying of Amazon reviews is appalling (personal experience). Their reviews are very often paid for (refund after leaving a 5* review). I presume you were sent this for free to review?

    • @SamuelJamesVideos
      @SamuelJamesVideos  2 года назад +1

      Nope, I bought it myself. I think the complete and utter zoo that Amazon has become is disgusting - but if and when I find a useful product (whether it's a "bad" brand or not) I'm going to tell my viewers about it. It sucks that Ulanzi does that and I don't agree with their marketing tactics if that's the case but the FALCAM is a good product regardless. They shouldn't even have to buy good reviews their stuff has always been solid for me. I had a light from them that was made of all plastic and other than that I can't think of anything else from them that was crappy
