In this Video, I'm Sharing with you a Step by Step Procedure on how to Make your all purpose Liquid Soap at home.
You can start the business today on your own and specialize in the production and marketing of liquid soaps to make a lot of money for yourself.
CHEMICALS REQUIRED AND THEIR PROPORTION
The Chemicals required to produce liquid soaps are not far-fetched and are not expensive; they are readily available in our main markets. Just ask traders around where you can buy chemicals for liquid soap and you will be directed accordingly.
The under listed are for the production of about 20 litres of the soap. The vendors that sell the chemicals can advice you on the quantities for a smaller volume production like 15 litres or even 10 litres, or as the case may be:
Nitrosol (or Antisol)…….……… 1/8kg (i.e 125g).
Caustic Soda…………………..……1/16kg (i.e 62.5g)
Soda Ash (Sodium carbonate) ,,..1/8 Kg
SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate) ….1/8kg
Sulphonic Acid………………..……..1 ½ Ltr
STPP……………………………….… 1/16Kg
Texapon ………………………….…1/8kg
Foam Booster………………………1/6 Ltr
Formalin………………………………10Cl
Colour (As desired)
Glycerine (Optional)
Perfume (As desired)
Vitamin E
PRECAUTIONS AND SAFETY DURING PRODUCTION
Wear rubber gloves
Use nose mask
Carryout production in a well-ventilated environment with good illumination.
In case of chemical splash to the face or delicate part of the body, wash very well with plenty water and see a physician as soon as you can.
Keep all chemicals out of reach of children.
Never taste any chemical with the tongue.
Wear your apron or other protective clothing before you commence production.
Most importantly, use your head. Don't play with chemicals please.

Yes Ma, I chose not to add presevatives. Besides without it, the soap is still OKay for 2-3months.
And if you insist on using preservatives, Please Uses Citric instead of formalin.

After 1 week of producing my liquid soap it becomes watering why please
A lot can actually lead to this.
For example, mixture of substandard chemicals- that is, some chemical vendors are fond of mixing their chemicals with whatever, so they can make more profit. Another cause is incorrect measurement, wrong mixture, inability to mix/stir properly and lastly check the Preservative you use. Eg(formalin or Citric) I personally use Citric because I noticed if I use formalin, after a week it becomes super watery. So the problem could be from any of the mentioned.

Hello, Liquid Soap without Preservatives has up to 3months shelf life. But with Preservatives it can stay more than 7months.
I'm having issues with the Chemicals they sell this days. Fake everywhere. Everyone wants to make profit at the expense of others. Please be careful and sure of the store you're getting your chemicals from. Some of them mix theirs and at the end it affects your Production.
So ma how do one know that it's about to spoil?

Do you mean as a first timer? If yes, I'd advise as a first time, you take your time to mix the chemicals. Don't be in a hurry.

There's no specific Price Ma,
For me, it's dependent on who's buying. The Price I sell to a good vendor is different from that of a company. Ranging from 5,000-8,000 Nigerian Currency

Why did you use sls and texapon together and not only one of them
SLS and Texaphon Are both Foaming Agents and I guess it's a Must that they're both Used in the production.
I've not produced without any and I don't know if there will be any difference if One is used instead of both.

I've experienced something like this,but then o discovered the preservative I was using then was the cause.
If it's Formalin you're using, then you have to change it.
Try Citric

There are different methods for production. If you'll be using the same method I used in this video, you don't have to Soak for 24hrs. It's even risky, I don't like seeing chemicals hanging around, especially if you're not living alone.

Right now, prices of things are on the high side. But to startup, you can begin with 25-50ltrs. The last time I went to the market, which was in July, I got chemicals of 50-60ltrs for #7,050. Not sure how much it will be now. You can begin with 25ltrs or more and possibly budget #4000-5000. Nit sure

It's SLS. You already said it... It's white and looks like Rice. It's a foaming agent and important in the production of your liquid soap

What is the cause of liquid soap changing colour?
Bad Chemicals,
When these are used for your Production and they start reacting... It makes the soap to begin to change colour and even begin to smell 😭
Be sure of where you're buying your chemicals ma'am

I don't use formalin in my production. Because of how dangerous it is. Even if you seek to add any preservatives, please use citrics.
Note: without presevatives, your liquid soap can still last for 2-3months.

What is the meaning of SLS
SLS means Sodium Lauryl Sulphate and it resembles rice grains and it’s whitish in colour. It is the main active foaming agent Ma. Thank you for leaving a comment ❤️

Thank you for this video. Please I have a question. I want car wash soap but I use antisol and the guy that sold the chemicals to me said I won't need to buy caustic soda and texapoon. Note that I bought SLS.

Caustic Soda acts as a cleaning agent and thickner. It is very corrosive. Yes, it most times isn't included in the car wash soap because of how harsh or corrosive it is. So it doesn't affect the Car when washing.

Please the honey coloured liquid is Sulphonic not sulphoric acid. The later is corrosive and very dangerous. But thank you for this video. Great job. 👍

Can you use to clean to clean cups and saucers and clothing
Yes, it can be used for both.
But for cups, ensure the perfume you're adding to the production isn't much so it doesn't smell in the cup
One of the chemicals you used was sulphonic acid and NOT Sulphuric acid. We don't use SULPHURIC Acid(the most dangerous acid) in making detergent.

For the smell, you should check your perfume. And for it turning watery. Avoid the use of Formalin in your production. Use Citric instead as a preservative. And you can include both STPP and Sulphate on your production. It makes your Soap thick when producing and it stays thick even after 3months.
