    Although my cold process soap making tutorials are of a tutorial nature, they are intended for people who have a good understanding of making cold process soap. The information given is based on what works for me, however, there are lots of variables associated with cold process soap making and I, therefore, take no responsibility for the results achieved when using the techniques or methods explained in these tutorials. Cold process soap involves the necessary use of sodium Hydroxide (lye) which is a very dangerous substance. Before attempting and cold process soap making you should ensure you are fully aware of the lye safety procedures and always wear the correct safety equipment when making soap.

    Great video and very helpful. Have you ever thought of bringing a book out or even a downloadable on different products every so often. I would certainly buy them.

    I love the occasional longer video. They keep me company while I'm faffing or crocheting, so it doesn't seem like much time at all. I've never seen liquid soap made before, so this was really interesting to me 😊 Thank you 🫧

    Great informative video. I tend to make a huge batch which lasts me about a year or so, for pennies. My favourite has to be cream soap, and lasts me over a year. The longer it goes, the better it is like castile. I moved house and found some castile which had cured for over 5 years! I make it in Pringles cans and had just forgotten. The soap was amazing.

    I put the glycerin in with my oils, I left them heat up together. I have watched a number of videos where the person heat up the glycerin before they add the lye and it just never worked for me. It is so much easier to add the glycerin to the oils and dissolve the lye in water or aloe juice.
    Salt water solution is the cheapest way to thicken liquid soap. It is not 100% accurate with every recipe or fragrance oil. A soap that has no coconut oil in it sickens nicely with the salt water solution but some fragrances will completely thin it out. You can go from a nice thick soap to pure water texture. Even worse is when the salt water solution attaches to the fragrance oil and soap and then separates from the water. I’m still trying to figure out how to prevent that from happening. I was wondering if that book talked anything about that.

    Great and very informative video, Lisa, thank you ever so much. As I make liquid soap just for myself and I use it for everything, I don't bother with dilution and let it sit as a thick paste. It gets translucent with time, really beautiful. I will try to dilute it next time after your method 🙏❤️

    Always love ❤️ your videos! Very informative and helpful…I would love to somehow repurpose CP soap scraps to make liquid soap. Is there a way to do this without a gloopy mess and also to withstand shelf life if selling??? I’m getting bored with the typical re-batching of scraps and need some advice…thank you and much love!! ❤️

    This is cool! I’ve never seen people make liquid soap before. I will say if it were me making it, then that volcanic reaction would happen because I’m clumsy. Have you ever made liquid soap the other way?

    Hi Lisa. Why do you say pH can not be tested in CP? I always dilute 1% and test it like that. Am I doing something wrong? Do you all know something that I don’t? Help :(

    • @novastudiumlearning5982
      @novastudiumlearning5982 9 дней назад +2

      She said PH cannot be tested accurately right after the Cold Process soap is made. We wait a few more days and then we can do the PH test
