hello guys, i have found a solution to this problem :) 1. step: go through the initial setup and dont import any data, just go for the blank setup 2. step: install the system update in your settings like you usually do 3. step: go to general>transfer or reset iphone>erase all content and settings, youll get back to your initial setup with the new system update 4. step: if you got issues with connecting to ur old phone where u scan that blue cloud of glitter, do it manual, there is a selection for it below 5. step: proceed normally and it should work :)))
Just got 15 today. When this happened to mine, i did a hard power down and when it came back up it picked up where it left off. Current phone was already on v18. But it is transferring data now.
This video is of no help. My iPhone 13 from 16 (another story) transfer has been "stuck" in the "Sofware Update" page for hours now. Second try. 5G wifi and 5 bar reception.
That doesn’t sound good. I saw someone say you can use a usb c Ethernet adapter to speed up the transfer. Not that it will help you if you’re always stuck there. Have you tried restoring from an iCloud backup, or if you have your old phone try using iTunes or a direct transfer

I love how apple charges a kidney for these phones and they can't seem to handle an update. Mine's failed twice now as well.

Resetting it worked, but I basically restarted the whole process, excluding the eSIM transfer that seemed to stick
