I’ve done a few videos on how noisy the Bambi Lab X1 Carbon was, and I’m pleased to see that the latest firmware (version 1.07) seems to reduce the noise quite a bit. Here’s the release notes: wiki.bambulab.com/en/x1/manual/X1-X1C-AMS-firmware-release-history I didn’t read the notes before, but it also says to re-run the calibration, so I’ll do that next 👍🏻

I’ve noticed a few differences when using the Bambu Handy app with my Bambu Lab X1 Carbon and A1Mini. I have reported the video one, which is hopefully just an app bug, but I’ve had no reply yet (although I only sent the support request 24 hours ago)

Did you try changing the device and Siri languages? I haven’t tried it since, but I remember having to do both
Are these printers big enough to print helmets for most people do you reckon as I’m about to get myself a p1s combo cuz of the sale but want to know if I can print helmets and stuff like that
I’ve done a few, but they aren’t big enough for me to print one that will fit my head, well not in one go.

Where did you get the file for the predator helmet, and did you do that on the A1?
I think it came from printable or cult3d. I’ll try and find the link for you. I did print it on the A1 using PLA+

I print a lot of tall vase mode prints that can suffer as they begin to wobble as they get taller. The P1P id imagine would be better but the A1 is more affordable. How do you think the A1 will do
I’ve not had any problems, but I have seen others having layer shifts when higher. The P1P/P1S is probably a safer bet for you
This video is of no help. My iPhone 13 from 16 (another story) transfer has been "stuck" in the "Sofware Update" page for hours now. Second try. 5G wifi and 5 bar reception.
Someone commented with another thing to try, which many have said worked for them. Please take a look at that, and I hope it works for you

That might mean you don’t have cruise control then sorry. Although I thought they all had it, but I’ve never actually looked. Or, perhaps the newer versions have it all on the steering wheel now. I’ve not been in a newer version to know

Sell the A1 and keep the mini,you have the xi.
I’d miss the X1. It’s great for ABS etc. Plus I like two bigger machines to finish projects quicker 😉
What do you do with the collected poop?
I just take it to the recycling centre at the moment. I’ve seen some people melt it down and mix it in moulds with resin, which looks cool, so I might try that one day

Just got 15 today. When this happened to mine, i did a hard power down and when it came back up it picked up where it left off. Current phone was already on v18. But it is transferring data now.

I got the clock kit with the A1 Mini, but nothing with the A1 combi. Bambu Lab stated it was pot luck if you get a gift.

Hi, I have just done this. Can I ask if you know if this affects anything else on the phone by setting the region to US? I’m also from the UK.
For me it was the auto correction and currency that made me switch back to UK settings
the a1 multi color is quicker than the ams on the p1p/p1s/x1c. that is what makes the A1 combo super worth it! i just ordered one.
Yeah, having the four tubes go into the hot end will help with that and save some time. The A1 is a great machine, I’m happy with it
Also Great video! i LOVE the A1 mini! You could try a giveaway to boost up the channel? or you could sell it! They don't depredate very easy so you could sell it a bit less then MSRP.

Hey how come you chose the A1 over the P1S? I can’t decide between the A1 and the P1S.
Same decision 3month ago. I went for the A1 because it has flow control and is quieter. Will get a P1S successor though if not too expensive
The main reason was because it’s quiet, plus cheap. I did consider a P1S, but the A1 was half the price and I already har the X1 Carbon.
I was at the same spot. But purchased A1 combo. Ams lite is better tham Ams, printer is slightly slower than P1P/P1S, but it has flow sensor, fillament run out sensor and etc.

Which one of these would you recommend for a newbie? I know I want a Bambu one, as I've noticed they are very popular for a good reason, but not sure which model yet and you seem to know as you have alot of them (:
If you’re be mostly printing PLA, the A1 is probably more than enough. I’d get the combo though, as when I got the X1C I instantly regretted not having it and ended up buying it a couple of days later. The main downside to the A1 is that the camera is rubbish, the rest works great though. I guess what I’m saying though, is it depends on what you print and with what material.
@@RSW_io Yeah I hear yah and it'll probably be most used for Miniature, feeding my Warhammer 40k-dream of having an army. I know that resin-printers is better for Miniature but the hussle with them is not for me, and I've seen that Bambu can do them just fine. Also, thanks for replying! Carry on good sir!
I do find that the supports are sometimes a bit harsh on small figures etc, but you can do it

Yes, within about an hour. But to be honest, I didn’t think it was worth it, so I changed back to UK and then it disappeared again
With the new 24 models, the rotary dial of the right side of the steering wheel moves you between systems instead of the button now.

Impressed by how the Bambu Lab feet reduce noise effectively!
The noise reduction is good, but I wasn't too happy with the stability of the machine. I've actually decided to go with the original feet directly on the table top.
Ninja is over rated, just like it's other brand Shark. At least Tower are UK made. Buy British, jolly good ole chap.

Not always, but for the fast prints it runs quite high as you need the temperatures higher
It worked like a charm I was using briquettes and I couldn't get passed 275°F. I switched to lumps and I now get higher temps. Thanks

One question does SCID’s enquaq has fandom drain? If you park it for 15 17 days how much energy you will lose ? Can we diactivate this ?
I’ve parked mine for two weeks and not lost any charge (not even 1%). I’ve not checked the app in the entire time too, so perhaps that helps.
