Easy fix. Just ser the phone as a new phone. Go to setting and update your phone. After that reset your phone and try the data transfer again. Thank me latet
(Update) I used the charger port it came with and plugged it into my desktop and downloaded iTunes on my pc and updated it from there for anyone who’s struggling just update it from iTunes if you have a 15 or 15 pro and if your pc supports usb-c cord

@@confusedaranara777 no problem I was struggling for an hour trying to find out why my phone would not update. then I remember I did this method on my other previous iPhone because it wouldn’t let me update it from there. I’m glad you got your phone working and that my method worked
I tired transferring my data to a new phone but the new phone needed a update. It got stuck updating so I canceled it and now it won't let me back in the phone it's stuck so it won't let me put my code in to enter the phone
I’m unable to check and install the new version of iOS 17. Error message‘unable to check for update…An error occurred while checking checking for a software update.’ I have no issues with my old version but it overheats and also drains the battery at night without usage.
I had an issue where I couldn't set it up from my other iPhone or update it during the setup as it would get stuck in the update stage. I bypassed it by setting up the phone without my other iPhone (or any device), updating IOS to 7.02, and resetting the phone while keeping the eSIM. Then I was able to get through the setup

Mine won’t update when I try to use iTunes? Like when I click update nothing happens 😭
