I built a 24x32 similar to this when i was about 35 years old largely by myself in 1978. Still in good shape, enjoying it now and all these years. I had help standing up the roof trusses and lining up the wall 2x4 sections. There are better tools and materials these days, I used simple hand tools.
HI Ashley , Jeremy ,Sam I hope you are all well ,happy ,safe , healthy , enjoying life beside each other as a wonderful and faithful family and having very happy ,joyful weekend , still I love it all I am watching again , it is worth it . God bless you all .
You're very lucky like myself to have a wife to help you! My wife helped me all along our garage build last year. We build it 34' wide by 40' deep with 12' 4-1/2" walls. From digging the footings, installing foam, rebars, radiant tubing to installing the last shingle my wife was there. The only things I subbed out was the concrete pour and finish, garage door installation and electrical. She even helped me put the trusses up, I rented a duct lift, no forcing except for bringing them to the lift. Awesome to have wives like we have! Cheers to both of you!!!
Absolutely LOVE all the extremely detailed and multiple shots of each important step. And still managed to put it all together into a nicely timed out video that didn't last hours like others on here. Really great video...5 Star for sure!! Thank You!

It’s so amazing to watch these kind of videos that show the entire build, I really enjoyed it. I did a timelapse a while back for my custom ultimate duck house build. And I know it’s a lot of work and time to put a timelapse together since the editing takes so much longer. Garage looks great by the way. I’m m excited for what’s next with you guys. 👌

You seem like a lovely family and I'm hoping you all the best for the holiday season. Be well stay safe.

Hello, Thank you for this video and looks great. I'm looking to build a 24x24 garage and was wondering what the price was for materials. How much was the shell, roofed, sided with door and garage door? I know prices today are crazy but just wanted to get a ball park figure.
It looks like you screwed the roof tin in the peaks rather than the valleys. Why? I see both and it looks like the valleys would make a better connection.
Yes we did, it is just how we have always done it, there is lots of debate which is better but we find this works great. No connection issues either, all the best.
I was lucky to find a garage video for metal roof on my first search. I want to match the roof on my little 1940s house. I doubt I'll be doing much of the work myself, but I like to know what goes into it. Of course, if the labor shortage continues, who knows 😉. Great job condensing the process and still showing all the steps needed to build that roof. I'm relieved in a way to see that no plywood sheeting is required, that stuff seems to be almost doubling in price every 5 months lately.

Really very good job
Teamwork! Congrats. How long did this part of the construction take?
A couple of months if I remember correctly, but we had to wait a few weeks for the trusses and can only work a little bit on it each day :)
Great job
Great team work
Great job. I would like to do this.
I love the Jokes!! Corny well maybe not. Today’s was CUTE!! No BULL
I do have a question, what THICKNESS of plywood are you using on the siding?
Roofing membranes should not be laid horizontally from the bottom to the top with an overlap?
Doing vertically works as well and is a heck of a lot easier to install alone this way. But do it however you prefer on your own build :)
Any idea the total cost for this project? Thanks for the video, answered a lot of questions in my head.
Very very good
ive GYATT to build a shed
Love it
How thick did you all make the concrete slab?
If I remember correctly it was a 6 inch slab.
i bought a bottle of mildew remover. the bottle said "use only in a well ventilated area"
if it was a well ventilated area, there wouldn't be any mildew!
lol
Looking good looking damn good!
Was there any slope on concrete pad ? If yes how did you level the wooden structure ?
It sloped inward to the drain, edges were all level.
Hola muy buen video 👍😃👏👏👏👏
why no sill seal between the base of the wall and the floor (concrete)? just asking for a friend....
The bottom plate is treated lumber.
Un duro trabajo y una gran satisfacción 🤞
Beautiful! What was the cost? Great build
Nice time laps !;-)
What did you use for the roof?
Metal roof.
With only one window for light. I'd call it a Man Cave for your big toys. Instead of a garage. But, to each his/her own.
Thanks for sharin...if it was only that fast to put up..
ha exact size garage i want to build, how much you paid for trusses?
Hey, I can't remember off the top of my head but know we shared that info in this video here ruclips.net/video/zD6EJYc9LoI/видео.html&t
I am building a 20x20 shed and wanted to go 10' tall how tall is this shed?
This is just over 10’
