Hi everyone! Unfortunately, there have been a lot of scammers posting comments saying that you’ve won a prize and asking to be messaged on Telegram. This isn’t me and I haven’t done any giveaways either. Please do not reply to these people. If I were ever to do a giveaway, I would mention it in a video and email you directly. Stay safe everyone!
Thanks for what you do. You had the spot on Dell XPS Plus review. My first one had a cracked screen from Best Buy and the next one was on fire the whole time (fans going, battery draining, useless). I returned it to wait for next year when they figure out how to keep these small laptops cool
Which of these two is better for a university use (take notes, watching videos, using excel and other stuff)?: -MBA with 512 of SSD and 8gb of RAM - MBA with 256 gb of SSD (with the storage issue) and 16 Gb of RAM Considering that I would like to keep this MacBook for at least 5-6 years
You'll probably be okay with the base model if all you'll be doing is using a few apps, browsing, and watching videos. But unless you really need the extra storage, and your budget only stretches to the one upgrade, upgrade the RAM first.
is there any follow up videos for this base model for performance in like adobe softwares and etc bc planning to get the m2 base bc its really expensive to upgrade everything from ssd to ram or should i get m1. I have a desktop that handles most of my editing work but in need of portable device that can still handle 3D rendering works whenever ill go home to my hometown bc im a student.
Personally, I don’t all that much except for video editing and some light photo editing using Premiere Pro and LightRoom. And the experience has been great. It works fine, might stutter in Premiere every now and then but the experience is still good. In terms of 3D rendering I watched a video from Ethan Zeng saying you can do some light 3D work on the base model as well.
Simple, delightful and informative Video with the ‘that’s what she said’ joke as a cherry on top . . . . . P.S- You really purchased a second MacBook for yourself? 🙃
In terms of weight, the air is soooo much lighter. I didn’t think my MBP14 was heavy till I started bringing the air with me everywhere. Performance wise, the MBP14 is still way better but if you’re not editing intense timelines, the air should work great. I’ve edited 3 videos so far and I’ve experienced stutters every now and then but I wouldn’t call it a bad experience because of it. Still got the job done 😁
@@BiancaMikaehla Interesting, thanks for letting me know! I’ve heard of horror stories about XPS 13 Plus online though, i.e. extreme throttling, screens falling off from the casing (due to issues with adhesive) and speaker problems. I don’t know if you know a RUclipsr named JustJosh, he’s planning to release a warning on buying it due to his own issues.
@@tech_realm yeah I’ve seen some of his videos on the Dell XPS 13 plus. He also said the base model couldn’t edit 4k videos but I’ve edited 4 videos with no problem. Dell has a lot of QC issues, I had to send my first unit back. I do believe that it can thermal throttle but only when you push it to its limits, but with editing 4k videos it worked just fine even when it was unplugged. Maybe he just has a bad unit?
@@BiancaMikaehla Perhaps, his unit was slightly bent as well iirc. Oh well, welcome to Dell and the Windows laptop world 🙃 Anyway, I’ve talked to a person that works for a company that works for Dell enterprise stuff and they were able to fix throttling by clean install. Kind of interesting paying a premium product and getting this experience.

The hate that the air gets on youtube made me want it even more so I ordered the Space Grey 16/512. Thank you RUclipsrs lol.

Anyways, awesome review. And like what Daniel Padilla sang in 2013..

Hi. Needed a small info. Is the size or dimensions of keyboard and mousepad of macbook air m2 same as macbook pro 14?
What colour is this and would you recommend it over the Midnight?
well done, dear. liked it.

I just finished rewatching The Office so the jokes are still fresh. Hahaha
And no, this is for my mom but she’s letting me use it first 😂
@@BiancaMikaehla I thought so too about you getting it for your mum.
Also how often do you use the Del XPS compared to your MBP14?
Do you like it more than the pro 14? Does the difference in weight make the air better? Idk which one to pick.

What is UNIFIED MEMORY?
Basically RAM on Mac computers
@@BiancaMikaehla ohh okk😅....the keyboard on the xps looks dope btw
Has your XPS been replaced yet? Nvm I assume yes!
The XPS held up so well! Tbh the video editing performance was better on that than on the M2 MBA in my testing so far.
