Hi am using windows software from 6 years onwards but now am planning to move on MacBook air from 2025 onwards. Please suggest which is the best mac machine for coding like stuff thing?
Can this handle multiple tabs? I just sold my macbook pro m1 because it cant handle the amount of tabs i do in daily basis.. was thinking getting m3 or just m2 with upgraded ram

Tysm! I needed this to pull the trigger lol I have 2019 MacBook Pro i9 32 gb of ram and 512 storage but I want to try the m2 MacBook Air so bad even tho I still love my 2019 MacBook
Yeah..been using it for a month..its really good.. but its a fault of mine to get the base version as i do video editing.. 8gb ram is too less and 256 gb storage variant is a bit slow.. however it is waaaay faster than other windows laptops within budget and chatge backup is insane with no fan.. so i would say a win win.. I'll probably get a macbook pro soon for my editing staffs.
Ive been using the macbook air for a year now and man i love it. I do most of my work on there then do all my video editing on a workstation pc i built so it's all covered!
i only want an m2 for the mid night color. so i’m not trying to make this the most expensive machine. if the 256 ssd is slow should i upgrade to 512 or but the 16gb of ram??
So bro do you think macbook air m2 is suitable for editing pro -res or even 4k quality videos from iPhone 13 pro max and suitable for college work ? (Videos are not condense )
Do you need a laptop today or sometime next year instead? If now then buy the M2 and enjoy. If you don't need one now and can wait then you can just wait. There is nk official release date of M3 and with the chip shortage it could be well into next year so take that info and doxwith it what you will my man.

I bought my mom the base 15" for Xmas and now questioning my decision after all the posts about 8gb not being enough. I knew nothing about Apple and naively thought we could upgrade ram later. Wondering if I should take this back, even though she only uses basic apple apps, internet browsing, movie streaming... just want it to last for her at least 4-5 years without being too slow. Can't believe Apple would charge so much for a machine with 8gb and 256gb lol.
Hardware. Even the M3 MBP can only drive one display (although there is a work-around). M1 MBA user here. I use a 34” Dell ultra-wide monitor with Magnet and I don’t ever notice the limitation.
I need this macbook for coding, college assignments, watching movies, little gaming and other regular stuff. So should i buy the base model or upgrade anything?
Maybe upgrade to 16gigs of ram and 512 of storage, this is more because of the coding is more demanding then pure college work (writing essays and all that good stuff)

I have the base model, and im super happy with it even as a video editing machine....which of course like you, I do not consider my videos to be intensive. Great great laptop
Is it posible to use that MacBook for graphic design and video editor ?
I haven’t had a new computer in 10 years and I’m going back to university in the fall so I’m excited to get this laptop 😊
u can just add a case to it to avoid many problems... i thought it was silly to use a case, but i am wrong.
How is it heating issues? Did you experinece any warm issues while using 30-35 C degrees surrounding? And how did it happen?
Should I use screen protector on my macbook air m2
Is this good for video editing ?
Thank you for this review. You’re very approachable and know how to break it down easy for us. Thanks again.
Do they have the silver color? Update: they do and it's cheaper. So I consider buying it right now.
is the 512 gb upgrade worth for long term use?
Good day..pls can I use this Mac book air m2 for my music production
if im using this for mulitple tabs, charts, application and screen recording and light video editing
Hi am using windows software from 6 years onwards but now am planning to move on MacBook air from 2025 onwards. Please suggest which is the best mac machine for coding like stuff thing?
Can this handle multiple tabs? I just sold my macbook pro m1 because it cant handle the amount of tabs i do in daily basis.. was thinking getting m3 or just m2 with upgraded ram
how many chrome? tabs are we talking here??
i ' ve just bought M2 air couple days ago. I was considering waiting for m3 but I needed new mac sooner to speed up my workflow. So far I am more than satisfied
You should’ve held off bruh
no they might the right choice.. @@Jamez1093
How is your experience?
Do i have to shut down my mac after use?
That was a very helpful review!
Tysm! I needed this to pull the trigger lol I have 2019 MacBook Pro i9 32 gb of ram and 512 storage but I want to try the m2 MacBook Air so bad even tho I still love my 2019 MacBook
Wireless mouse is probably necessary for the more detailed software??
How to charge it with powerbank ?
Yeah..been using it for a month..its really good.. but its a fault of mine to get the base version as i do video editing.. 8gb ram is too less and 256 gb storage variant is a bit slow.. however it is waaaay faster than other windows laptops within budget and chatge backup is insane with no fan.. so i would say a win win.. I'll probably get a macbook pro soon for my editing staffs.
Ive been using the macbook air for a year now and man i love it. I do most of my work on there then do all my video editing on a workstation pc i built so it's all covered!
how much ram and ssd you got?
does it make sense to take the m2 air with 512gb ssd and 16gb ram for virtualization stuff and linux stuff?
i only want an m2 for the mid night color. so i’m not trying to make this the most expensive machine. if the 256 ssd is slow should i upgrade to 512 or but the 16gb of ram??
So bro do you think macbook air m2 is suitable for editing pro -res or even 4k quality videos from iPhone 13 pro max and suitable for college work ? (Videos are not condense )
i’m a new college student struggling to figure out which laptop to get and this review was so helpful. most likely gonna get the macbook air
Hello useful review, one question for you Should I wait for M3 or its good to buy M2 air??
Do you need a laptop today or sometime next year instead? If now then buy the M2 and enjoy. If you don't need one now and can wait then you can just wait. There is nk official release date of M3 and with the chip shortage it could be well into next year so take that info and doxwith it what you will my man.
MacBooks life spans are usually 7-9 years so if you have one of the newer models you definitely won't need an upgrade anytime soon
i like this 1 year later reviews! very useful! still rocking M1 Macbook Air :D
Yes please continue the 1year after reviews! Very helpful 😊
Nice review, but i want to know will it compatible to install Engineering AutoCAD 2014 version software ???
Please let me know….
is 513 USD a good price for the old M1 13inch 8GB 256GB?
8GB ram and 256GB SSD, wow only Apple can do it. True courage!
I’m more surprised that people do not understand not everyone is editor or gamer, but people always find something to prove a point
Do you think MacBook Pro 13.3” Laptop - Apple M2 chip - 8GB Memory - 256GB SSD is good to edit 3min videos?
More than enough!
Does epic games work on macbook air?
I do play games on my m2 base Macbook air but the games that I play are really only games that would be good for the mac. Games I play are Roblox and Minecraft. For Minecraft i get 72 - 110 FPS even when i live steam. My m2 Macbook air has worked perfectly fine (so far).
What size is your MBA? Also, have you experience any heating?
@@13thcherry My MBA is an 13" it really only gets overheating after 30 - 60 mins of playing Greenville on Roblox. other than that never at all.
My M1 Air still works like its brand new but honestly not a fan of the wedge. I LOve the M2 squared look. My M1 Max is insane
Can it handle Davinci Resolve video editing?
What mc book do you recommend for school and Work?
I bought my mom the base 15" for Xmas and now questioning my decision after all the posts about 8gb not being enough. I knew nothing about Apple and naively thought we could upgrade ram later. Wondering if I should take this back, even though she only uses basic apple apps, internet browsing, movie streaming... just want it to last for her at least 4-5 years without being too slow. Can't believe Apple would charge so much for a machine with 8gb and 256gb lol.
Would u buy this at 899 or the m1 for 750
Great review as always! Where do you find your wallpapers? They always look so nice!
Unsplash! So many great creators put their work on there!
Is the Macbook M2's single external (extended) display limit a hardware or software limitation or both?
THis helped me soo much thank u
