I've been listening to them again and didn't know it was just Jani's birthday yesterday. Glam Metal could get a lot of hate now but they produced the best ballads and a damn great vocalist. Jani, your voice is a gift. You are amazing live and I can't think of artists now that can compare. Probably because there is none. Thank you for your music, it has stood the test of time, I wasn't even born in the 80's and didn't reach this but it resonates with me and I absolutely love it. Warrant was never underrated in my mind. They were hit makers. At the cusp of their greatness Grunge took over. All hair bands fizzled out quickly. Jani and Warrant kicked ass for a short time, but they kicked ass well!
I met most of the " hair bands " & Janie was so nice. I still have the autographed cd . I just need GnR ( I saw them , was in the limo going to pick them up but we got out before the limo made it back there . ) Motley Crue ( saw them too but not back stage ) & my collection will be complete. I cannot remember the show but I remember seeing Warrant with Poison at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis in 1992 or 1993. I was probably stoned out of my gourd back then but it was a killer show. sadly I don't recall Lani being that good of a vocalist. Based off of this and a few other live videos, I can't think of any better vocalists that hit the notes like he did. Dude was a killer musician!!

08/16/2019 It's getting harder for me everyday to watch these classic songs. I was in my 20's when this came out. Now I'm fast approaching 60, and I've come to the realization that this wonderful music is long gone. I start to cry my eyes out realizing that I lived and rocked thru the greatest era for rock/metal, but there is nobody taking up the roles these guys had in my life. Where the hell did the time go???? I have instructed my children to play this song at my funeral. RIP Jani.
