Buddy, ... living on the other side of the world, and only hearing this via Rick Dees Top 40, in the middle of the night about a week later after it was recorded, I knew they were great, & my second favs to Winger & Def Leppard. Brittany Fox, & early Skid Row were cool Too-!! Liked John Parr, Ratt, Survivor, & Journey Too. It had to have that 'Gravel Pitch', though Survivor & Journey, went for the 'High Pitch'. Here's too all Good Memories-! (Just wished there'd been enough Good Gals to go with them-!!😁 - like all the Glam Rock Chicks you'd see in MTV Videos, like Tawny Kitaen: RIP.😢)
My daughter was raised with 80’s music and we recently had Cinderella up on the TV (I live with her) with Apple Music and she even noticed “wow Tom wrote a lot of their songs!”’ I said “yeah, he wrote almost ALL of them”. She watched this particular live video and was impressed because as she said “you know a bands good when they sound the same live as they do on LP” (yes! I’ve still got Cinderella LP’s) my daughter and now HER kids love and appreciate 80’s music. My middle grandson loves Cinderellas drummers (he himself plays the drums) and gets a kick out of their double guitar spins and tosses. Gotta raise your kids on the RIGHT music!!
I'm close to 70 yrs old and it still gives me goosebumps..if you didn't know Tom and his mom went to a yardage when he was 7.his mom bought him his first guitar which he didn't know how to play.i believe he taught himself...thank you mom!!
Yes! There was a “teach yourself guitar” book put out by Roy Clark and that’s how he learned. Got into drugs in high school and was going to drop out, his mom bribed him with a Sunburst Stratocaster if he stayed and graduated. He did AND he still has that guitar!
Tom makes music unforgettable, his voice makes the song special. He is a talented performer and vocalist.he and his band Cinderella made the 80's special.
I saw them with Poison and Slaughter opened the show. Cinderella came on next and opened with Night Songs. Poison closed, but IMHO Cinderella were the best band. Tom Kiefer is so underrated as a songwriting, singer and a fantastic guitarist in his own right.
Totally agree. Without a doubt, a very unrecognized band. And, such talent all the way around. And, I completely agree that they always were good to their fans. I also believe they have earned a spot in the Hall of Fame

What a shame they came along so late in the era. They truly had a unique sound of their own. With the Blues Rock Sound set them apart from other bands of the 80's.
It really is, if they hadn’t been so close to the ‘grunge’ crap by the time they had their ducks in a row and got their record deals and band members fixed they would have shown the world what they were truly capable of
