The Direct heat stencil for the PS5 APU is not available as i am aware of so you would have no choice but to use this type of No Heat Jig- Not many people are performing this type of Repair so Props to you Sir- There are obviously going to be a Ton of them i have the Exact same setup that you have Constant Current heater for Reflowing Reball Chips - WDS-620 For Mount and Dismount and Hypersonic Cleaner for board Cleaning i am a little wary about putting the whole board in there Though even the Manufacturer of the WDS 620 states to bake the Chip for 8 hours after the introduction of Moisture and Moisture can hide in places in the board after introduction to Moisture - Honestly i do not usually wait Bake 8 Hours usually about an Hour and i have never had a Problem. Good Tutorial The only one i have found so Far. Thanks I Bake at 150 Degrees with Convection Flow Preheater for 1 Hour- Basically Hot Air Heats the Whole Board and the BGA Chip to draw out Moisture.

This system will not have a solder problem it is extremely rare even for the PS4s nowadays, so far I have had 4 PS4s with solder problems out of about 20,000 I have repaired and they were the nastiest systems you have ever seen! Although not impossible this video was just put up to sell you parts with a faked video and or an expensive service, seriously out of 20,000 systems 99.995% of the time it will absolutely not be the problem or needed unless the system was dropped in which case it will have likely have pulled the solder ball pad off the motherboard making it not repairable.
Preach brother. Rossman did a great explanation on reballing / reflowing. Its only helpful if dropped. All those heat cycles and balling, may aswell just reflow it. It would last longer and less work. Would be nice if we could get new chips and they were not married to the damn board. Good to see someone pointed it out. A+

Sorry. But this isn't about dry or a crack solder joint but a fault within the chipset and its silicone bumps. This is a temp fix. Done alots these reball on hp nvidia chipset, Sony ps3, etc...

I have seen people criticizing BGA Reball saying oh it is not necessary and that it is just a way to sell parts but they are all Wrong I know from experience that you can take a PS4 apart and it will just die and not turn on because you have taken the pressure off of the BGA Chips and the joints underneath Fail. Now this Fact has been proven in Scientific Journals and the best BGA Researchers in the Country using Xray Machines not guess work - Read white papers from Electronic Engineering Now on this subject. Sega Games Commercial Gaming systems have been known to have this problem for years. I repair Television Main Boards and it is very Common sometimes reflow works and sometimes it is necessary to Reball the BGA Chips experience says that the Best Repair is to Reball the BGA Chip with 183 Degree Solder it is more stable than Lead Free Solder in my Opinion. Anybody that says anything different does not know what they are talking about This subject is well researched by Electronic Engineers for Years and the info is readily available to those that will do the Research - Experienced on Advanced Electronics on all types of Electronic Systems Commercial and Consumer and they all need to be Reballed or Reflowed and this includes Iphones and Android Phones and Tablets of all kinds there are literally thousands of different types of electronic Equipment in the Field and any Technician that knows what they are Doing Knows that these BGA Chips Balls are Failing .
