Thank you for the lesson, Master! It seems to me that a lot of liquid metal is put in the factory, the problem occurs. Or did they poorly isolate the crystal from the substrate?
That is something that will never happen to my PS5 as i modified mine with a better heatsink and thermal paste, it's running without problems with thermal paste. I used thermal Grizzly Kryonaut and it's working still perfekt after years now. I did also change the heatsink and installed a heatsink from the first Gen into the Sec. Gen PS5 because a bent heatsink from the sec. gen. The xBox with same chip, is also working great without liquid metal because they heatsinks are perfect. Sony used liquid metal, because they got bent Heatsinks, it's cheaper to fix this overheating issue with liquid metal instead producing new heatsinks... ruclips.net/video/6MeQMd_U_ns/видео.htmlfeature=shared
That's impressive work! Upgrading the heatsink and using premium thermal paste like Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is a smart move for better heat dissipation. Your detailed insights on Sony's design choices with liquid metal are spot-on, and it's fascinating how you retrofitted a first-gen heatsink into a second-gen PS5. Great job on proactively enhancing performance and longevity! 👏 For anyone facing PS5 Blue Light of Death issues, maintenance like this might help in some cases by addressing thermal problems before they cause further damage.
Hello sir My ps3 has red screen but tv works good I changed the new HDMI cable but the console has red screen only What was the solution? Can you recover my sir?
It sounds like your PS5 might have encountered a hardware issue, possibly overheating or a power supply fault, the issue may be internal, such as a problem with the APU or power supply unit.
3- If you are using a physical disk, make sure it is not damaged or dirty. Scratched discs can cause reading errors.
You want it repaired or you want to damage it worse yourself? There are a lot of tech repair people who are unable to fix a PS5 and you're thinking you could fix it yourself? My advise is do not even try.
@@liamtownson4108 You were so lucky. In a few years of repairing PS5 I never encountered a bad power supply. Not one. So you did buy probably the cheapest power supply that is, am I correct? The cheaper it is, the worst it is. It may look the same but it is not. Can't start to explain it to you why buying a cheaper power supply is a bad idea. Let's just say that it's cheaper because instead of 5 capacitors in parallel it has only two. This is not about capacitance but about the ESR of capacitors. 5 capacitors of 10microF is not the same with one 50microF capacitor. One capacitor has the ESR of maybe 2 Ohm while the 5 capacitors have an ESR almost 5 times smaller. This important a lot. Cheaper power supplies come with some of the protections bypassed and this is great if everything is fine but the moment your PS5 needs that protection that's missing, the PS5 gets screwed badly and it becomes a struggle to fix it, if it's going to ever be fixable. Anyway, did you replaced the thermal pads, added a little bit of extra thermal paste or something of a sort or you just screwed everything together and that was it?
People will go buy a new or used for 300 to 600 dollars but not pay someone that knows what they are doing $100 to $200 to repair it? Love to know what you do for a living so that I can advise people that you are expensive and you should offer your services for "cheap". Your words, not mine.
Good job and it is a shame you had to resort to robotic AI voice LOL, but I kind of understand why you did it. Perhaps your originality is being impacted by the need to adapt to moving forward and being driven by the need to increase views and monetisation, which is the nature of most social media platforms. Not your fault as it is an innate aspect of our social modern life. In my view RUclipsrs from western countries are more likely to achieve successful ratings faster than in non western countries.
Not at all, in fact, I have quite a lot of heavy games-making machinery installed around me which is noise you may have often heard in my videos. But no more AI because fewer viewers like it.
I do appreciate the time you take, but the problem you described as the issue you literally did not show. At all. Seems odd. Yes the liquid metal can get beneath the masking that covers the APU but you never showed that. You did not show that you removed the masking, nor did you show the capacitors that were supposedly shorted by it. Just odd to make such a long video and leave out the actual issue you identified.
Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it. You're right-I could have shown more of the details on the issue, especially the liquid metal getting beneath the masking and affecting the capacitors. I'll definitely keep that in mind for future videos to ensure all key points are covered. Thanks for watching and for the constructive input!
Thank you so much for your time and details you have given us!
You are so welcome!
Master long time great video
Welcome back
Great job don

Hello sir
My ps3 has red screen but tv works good
I changed the new HDMI cable but the console has red screen only
What was the solution?
Can you recover my sir?
Red screen or red LED light?
@@idreestech red screen with games open and everything is ok but everywhere is red of the display
@@idreestech red screen
Is your LCD ok if ok then clean well the PS5 HDMI port from the outside and inside its pins on the motherboard.
I have short on all capacitors underneath my APU is that what might be causing? I have checked pauses and 5v 1.1v all present
If that then nothing is short.😊
King🤴 ho app sir jee.
Just happened to me yesterday while I was playing Lego fortnite, it shut off and now it won't turn back on, beeps one time then shuts off

so the old liquid metal causing this probs?thats odd and such a relief 😅
no

Very good sir

instead of liquid metal it is better to use PTM 7950 thermopad there will be no more problems with failure caused by liquid metal good job
There's no failure caused by liquid metal. Failure is caused by a human who does not know what they are doing and how to work with liquid metal.
My ps5 has just done this and i cant see this being cheap to repair in a shop😢
UV Mechanic use will be a help full solution.

@Dandan-tg6tj turns out my power supply was bad I bought another and got it fitted for £75 which is actually quite cheap
