Kudos to Huawei on these phones. This is how I think other manufacturer's should have executed their releases. Give people a CHOICE! Headphone vs not, SD Card vs dual sim, etc. These phones are absolutely beautiful. I see you were using T-Mobile, can you get 4G in the US?
Y M yea but headphone jack is my life and even 32 gb of storage is enough for me so i guess mate 10 better with higher resolution but the only problem is that i am a mate 9 user and i like the fingerprint sensor at the back not the front :(. I have some good news for mate 9 users which is the android oreo 8. 0 and EMUI 8.0 is coming also to mate 9 after some weeks or a month but i am sure before than p10 and p10 plus :))
I don't care about water proof because I don't play phone under water. I don't care about wireless charging because u will still need to plug in the charger. A phone with 18:9 ratio is not my phone because I don't like narrow phones. So mate 10 is my choice of phone.
I couldn't seemed to find any significant differences between Mate 10 and Mate 10 pro... in actual fact, Mate 10 seemed a better choice for me - earphone jack, expandable memory, wider screen (actually not that much different - 5.9 inch to 6") and sharper display... that's why I decided not to wait and jump straight into Mate 10.

Will be getting my mate 10 Pro and mocha brown this Tuesday. My last two phones which is currently the pixel 2 and prior to that where's the HTC u11. I feel those two phones with the best camera phones to date. Getting this phone try out the camera in different modes especially the pro mode. I also like the idea of a 6in screen get to my current live in pixel screen and like the 4000 milliamp battery better. Thank you for the unbiased video

I Wanted so bad to get one of these phones, but I just can't justify getting one except to stand out in the crowd. The Mate 10 has a 1440p display, but it's LCD. The Pro has an OLED display but It's only 1080p. Weird. The Mate 10 has a headphone jack, the Pro doesn't. The Mate 10 has expandable storage. The Pro doesn't. What? Seems to me like Huawei got the names mixed up. Weird. The pro has better water resistance, at least. And neither phone has wireless charging even with the glass backs. What's the point of having a glass back without wireless charging? If even Apple ( a company that's always late to the game with new features) phones have wireless charging, there's no excuse for a 2017 phone with a glass back to not have it. The Mate 10 has a fingerprint sensor in the front. The Pro has a fingerprint sensor in the back. What? Are these two phones even made by the same company? The only things they share are the cameras, the processor, and the much appreciated IR blaster. Wow! Talk about a Schizophrenic pair of phones! I'm totally confused. If I were to buy one, it would be the Mate 10, because of the 16:9 aspect ratio (Which I prefer over the skinny 18:9) and the headphone jack. Bring the OLED over to the Mate 10 and Wireless charging. I'd be the first in line to buy one. Disappointing.

Yes LG G6/V30 can do bokeh effect, you just need to know Manual Settings and skills on how to produce it Even the old model Lenovo with only 1 camera can do it as well, so far most camera phones with Portrait Mode still not that accurate in reproducing that bokeh effect IMHO FYi LG's camera settings are feature rich than Huawei and other mobile brand
just touch focus but make sure the subject ( in foreground) is near to the camera and the distance between the background image is far from the subject (foreground) say like 3.0 meters or more in Manual Settings, you have to choose a settings that suits the lighting conditions and the image output you intend to
Wait, I'm still not clear. So mate 10 pro comes with no headphone jack, but huawei still provides earphones with type c. So what's the problem there? Isn't it the same as the usual headphone jack?
Replaced my Galaxy S9 with the Mate 10 Pro. It's way better, especially camera and screen...EMUI is easier and less buggy than TouchWiz too IMHO. Really pleased with it!!
Despite my initial Disappointment, I'm really starting to warm up to the idea of getting the Mate 10. Right now I'm using a Galaxy S8+. It's a great phone. But I'm just not a fan of that skinny 2:1(or 18:9) aspect ratio. The Mate 10 doesn't have an OLED display, but if it's at least as good as last year's Mate 9 display, I'll be happy. I don't dive into swimming pools with my phone, nor have I ever come close to holding my phone over a toilet. So I'm not scared of not having a waterproof phone. Really, the only area this Mate 10 lets me down is the lack of wireless charging. It a feature that, when you use it for a while, you will miss not having it around. But, getting that big 16:9 screen with that 970 processor is mighty compelling for me. And the phone has a headphone jack, expandable storage, and that cool new Desktop mode. I just hope Huawei decides to sell the Mate 10 in the U.S. I know they're only planning on selling the Pro in the U.S., but for me, the Mate 10 is the better phone.
You can use wireless adapter, you put it inside a case connected by USB to make the phone charges wirelessly.. you can get the Mate 10 from ebay if it's compatible with operators in your country.
