- The most recent mass shooting in a school happened just days before the start of summer vacation. It started out as a day of joy. One after another, beaming youngsters posed with their certificates at the Robb Elementary School honor roll ceremony, in Uvalde, Texas. Less than two hours later, 19 of them were dead, shot to death by a young man with an assault rifle. Before the massacre, Robb Elementary was a typical American school, full of promising youngsters and dedicated teachers.

As a high schooler this is sad how we live in a corrupted world full of people who don't care about our lives. And other kids at my school think things like this is a joke. I know it's horrible, I graduated last year and its so disgusting that everytime there was a mass shooting people would just joke about it or joke about our school getting shot up. Nothing about being in a situation where you can lose your life like that is funny. It's so messed up that people think that these mass casualties is is something to be comical about and things need to change

This is very sad. Those children do not deserve to die this way. This year is really getting much worse now. Much like 2012 which is the same year when both my grandfather and his sister who lives in Shanghai have passed away, we have so many terrible shootings this year.

It disturbs me and upsets me that someone could do something like this! Our prayers and love go out to the families and loved ones!!
It upsets me but pretty much gotten used to seeing it.. lotta messed up things in the world. Feels like only way to prevent these issues is to have people on watch at all times and maybe have a new fancy electric lock on all the outside doors so the school can keep kids in and killers/shooters out. Then again probably not affordable to the school.. school i had did a fundraiser to replace the bleachers same day as my family's fundraiser for my grandma to help pay bills to help treat her cancer.. was pretty messed up with how they worded it to. 'Why go to a crummy chilli cook off when you can have a spaghetti dinner.'
This is so awful and Heartbreaking. That Monster took many lives of these innocent kids. No parent should never have to bury their child, Rest in Peace to these young souls. 💔😢🙏

This is so heartbreaking. I am 23 years old and remember being that age like it was yesterday. So innocent, so full of promise and hope. I don’t believe in heaven or hell, so I sincerely just wish they all went painlessly, remembering they were loved.
I remember when I was that age too and yeah the word was innocent! However 2 years later when my sister was that age, it was the opposite word! Behind our parents back, with the encouragement of an adult (22) neighbor, she was smoking, drinking, smoking pot and at age of 10 and a half I caught her in bed with a teenage neighbor boy!
This is heartbreaking for all the parents of school age children. My heart goes out to all the families who have to go back to a home with a little less noise, a voice lifted to the heavens to soon. May the families find strength in devastation. Parents, grandparents please be present in your kids life and get the help.
He liked art, she liked milkshakes, she liked gymnastics...these were babies. Thats all they were supposed to do was LIKE stuff. WEEEEEE WERE SUPPOSED TO PROTECTTTT OUR BABIESSSSSS@!!!!!

This just breaks my heart. One of a parents worst nightmare had to become a reality for someone that just has absolutely no feelings for these kids. We would all want world peace right now, but it's impossible when different evil people get in the way. Rest in Peace to these kids, they all had dreams and I know that those achievements would of become a reality. I wish the best of luck to their parents and I hope nothing like this happens ever again.
