I believe 40-70 minutes and the only reason the shooter was killed was one disobeyed orders

what was the shooter doing that whole time? Sandy hook shooter devastatingly took out 28 innocent life in just 11 minutes. So for an hour did he just stand there in the class? Because with the same weapon he had to be done shooing within 10 minutes maybe less even.
Thats crazy to me. He had an hour to end hi own life and he just stood there.

Survivors guilt is a real thing ! They need to watch her and get her psychological help maybe now or down the road but this poor girl is in for such a long road of physical mental and emotional healing and with her amazing family she will get through this. Very glad she wasn't paralyzed or worse killed.

Not just Mexicans but all Hispanic culture is very united with their family I am Cuban American and my parents live with us because they are older and they need our help I feel so lucky my son grew up with his grandparents it's family that counts family.

So yes, your right, there is always a chance that her family, friends, & even her could go through these comments in the near future. These comments are out there for anyone to see. And many times the people these comments are about are actually reading them. So telling her we care can really help her in the future while she is going through this trauma. And we do care and hope that she knows that many are praying that she will get through this horrifying time in her life and have a great life ahead of her.

Kendall is a beautiful little girl, but there’s a spark missing from her eyes. I pray to God, that spark, that happiness is found again. I pray for her healing, and that she receives the mental health care she desperately needs. This baby has PTSD, and a long road to recovery… physically and mentally. THIS WAS PREVENTABLE AND CANNOT HAPPEN TO OUR CHILDREN!!!!! 😰🙏🏻

She’s gonna remember those moments forever, that hour of hell she endured. She’s alive, and that’s a blessing. However, there’s an emotional and mental scar that can’t ever fully heal. I hope her and her family can at least start to live in peace again without the looming fear.

My heart is torn from my chest for Kendall and for all the students, parents, teachers, and all the family and friends of Rob Elementary, I heard "Lexi's" mother speak this morning and cried my eyes out I hurt so badly for her and Lexi's father grief has overcome me I'm a mother of 5,2 are grown but I still have a 13,10,&9 year old which all attend school and because of all the school shootings I live in fear of sending my 3 and to school everyday, so each morning I say a prayer with and over my daughters that the Lord please protect them and keep them safe and get them back home to me safe, and each day that they return I thank the Lord for getting them back to me safely.I know it shouldn't be this way we should not have to live in fear of our children dying when they go to school the laws have to change
This is beyond heartbreaking , poor babies I hate hearing how those little babies suffered and the beautiful teachers breaks my heart. You can see the sadness and fear in her eyes 💔

Yeah in 10 days.. seems to soon to be out . My 8 month old when she was a month old had stomach surgery and was in recovery for 10 days..but she also stayed in hospital for 143 for other reasons before coming home..10 days and 5 surgeries seems so much for a body to handle going home so soon
If people are stable, they like to get them out as quickly as possible. She's far from home, there's a greater infection risk in the hospital, and it was probably more traumatizing for her mentally to be in an unfamiliar city away from her family. She'll likely be followed up at the local hospital.
Gosh I was thrilled to heard she lived. Especially because her photos came up as one of the missing kids first. Bless her. May she heal physically and mentally

The police took their precious time making sure they weren't being shot, while kids where literally getting their life taken. That's fucking sad that they didnt come in and help those kids :( I'm so glad Kendall is ok, she has all my respect.
I feel sorry for the children that survived actually being in the classroom at that time. It is probably a fate worse than death having to witness what you saw and most likely remembering it for the rest of your life

I’ve seen that face of defeat in my own reflection. Being a victim of PTSD is going to be a long journey but I pray she finds the strength to keep going and get some light back in her eyes.

Please listen to video again. Reporter stated, "They're not able to speak publicly." Very different from "not allowed". They are probably too traumatized to speak on camera. I'm always surprised when people are able to go on camera and speak soon after suffering a tragedy.
Not by the Uvalde police but by CIA or FBI. They also have to watch what they say since it’s being investigated. Hopefully someone pays up so they can move out of that town.

I hope the family has the means to move from Uvalde and start fresh with their daughter somewhere else. That child will be haunted for a long time regardless but being in that town may be extremely difficult for her healing. I cannot begin to imagine that kind of violence and trauma. A 9 year old is supposed to be having the time of their life during summer break, not recovering from gunshot wounds in her back and reliving the nightmare of her teacher dying on top of her, her classmates slaughtered right in front of her. We need to put a stop to this shit. Uvalde should be the last school shooting we ever hear of ever again.

It's a miracle she survived as the gunman had an hour to make sure everyone was dead, but she lived.
There are survivors who will tell the story to the world of the negligence of the police department there. The same departments that had tax payers pay 40% to and failed. Time to removed them and have better gun laws. This has been proven time and time again that a good with a gun can fail even with all that training.
